Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Walton-on-the-Naze

Our group of six—two adults, one young adult, and three teenagers—had a very comfortable stay at Lesley’s lovely home. It, indeed, felt very much like a home and not just a rental property. There was ample space for all of us, and it was great to have three toilets and two showers. The location is superb—a short walk to coffee, restaurants, and the riverfront, which we enjoyed strolling along in the evening. A great place for a larger group to stay in Wivenhoe!

me and my sister stayed here to celebrate my sisters birthday and Chloes cottage was absolutely the perfect choice, the whole place was stunning and was in such an ideal little village. the place was spotless and had everything we might have needed to enjoy our stay. Would highly recomend visiting Ickworth estate too which is only a 20 minute drive away!

Jo’s place was as exactly as we chose. A very private place full of tranquility both inside and outside . The natural garden was a joy to just sit and enjoy the wild life and alfresco dining. We were blessed with good weather which made sitting and eating outside mist enjoyable. The garden was a haven for our two dogs to explore safely.

The bakehouse was a great, we had wonderful time the house have everything that you need to feel comfortable and everything it’s 5 min less walking distance. Great place and host . Definitely recommendable

Fantastic stay with my family. We have outgrown a caravan holiday and this was absolutely perfect for us. Private but with neighbours. Very relaxing. Wonderful to have a fully functional kitchen with all you need to cook breakfast, lunch or dinner! Hidden treasure!

Had a great stay at Claire's house. Claire was very helpful & responsive on messages. The location is perfect, walking distance to the village for the cafe's and the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the outside space was perfect for relaxing in the afternoon and evening. Thanks Claire for a great stay!

Lovely cottage in a quiet area very near to the town centre, water front and pubs. Had everything we needed to make our stay a very enjoyable week. Plenty of things to do in and around the area and overall a very enjoyable experience.

Great stay! Really nice! Very close to the beach, lovely walks to west Mersea. Shanice was bang on with her communication.

Had the best two nights at Tracy’s home from home. Was everything she had described, very comfortable I had the best two nights sleep. Close to the beach and you can see the sea from the van. Thank you I will be back 😊

This is our third time staying with Kelly and yet again we had a great time and experience. The caravan is spotless and in a lovely location. Kelly was an excellent host as she always is. Hopefully we will be back next year!

A really lovely place to stay. Peaceful, spacious and great value. Lots of parking and amenities. Only wish we’d stayed longer!

Perfect place for a little break. Cleanest caravan we’ve ever stayed in! Bedding looked, felt and smelt fresh, bathroom, toilet and kitchen all clean and well equipped, and Yussuf was quick to respond with any questions. We’d definitely stay again.

Super stay with kids and grand kids. Plenty of toys and games, plenty of space in the garden and trampoline (bird poo an issue) Loads of room and space to escape inside as well. Wonderful position with the beach at the bottom of the large garden was great for short walks or simply breathing the sea air. The two hot tubs were loved by all. Beautiful Sunsets from the seating deck or the terrace. A really splendid property. Thanks.

We had the most amazing stay at Sprotts farm, in the brambles. The cottage itself was lovely and so homely, and there were lovely dog walks straight from the door, but to then add in a gorgeous outdoor pool and an excellent games room just propelled this holiday in to one of our favourites. Alica and family were on hand to help with any info if needed, but we're not overbearing at all. We would highly recommend Sprotts farm to anybody and will definitely return. We rented John’s hut to spend a day at the beach with friends. The hut was exactly as described and very well located, close to the cafesnand shops, the toilets, and the parking spaces. It contained everything you can need for a perfect day at the beach! Would definitely recommend it and would consider renting it again in the future.

Just returned from a long weekend away at Shore House. It was a stunning house with beautiful views overlooking the greenery, child’s play area and sea. The master bedroom had a stunning sea view. The house had modern amenities, and they even had children cups, plates, bowls and cutlery which was a nice touch. On our arrival the host even ensured there was a high chair and travel cot made up, which we didn’t even need to request, which was lovely. The house really felt like a home, extremely clean and we can’t wait to return for another break in the near future. Thank you, again x

I had a lovely stay here with my son and dog. We came to clacton to visit family and it was ideally positioned for this. The local rugby field is just behind the house, which was ideal for walking the dog. Would definitely stay again.

I highly recommend this place. Lovely garden to sit with a morning coffee. Easy to walk everywhere if you don’t have transport. Every thing was spotlessly clean. Had everything you needed. Only downside - mum in her 80’s struggled with the stairs. Very steep and narrow, no side rail to hold onto. For younger, fitter people, it won’t be an issue

Harrison was the most welcoming host and accommodating. Great communication, the place was clean, cosy and had everything you needed and looked exactly as it looks and described. Short walk to the beach and town centre or short drive to local shops/retail park. Would deffo use Harrison again for our next visit.

This accommodation is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. There are lots of lovely local walks and a couple of convenience stores and pubs within walking distance. There are lots location is peaceful with a nice outdoor courtyard garden. Occasionally footsteps can be heard from above the bedroom due to the accommodation being underneath part of the owner’s home.

Well, what can I say! Alison’s place was a real gem. I’m a Brit living in the USA and was visiting my parents in Frinton. I needed a place for just myself, but with basic amenities. It met my needs perfectly. Plus with the added bonus of the sea at the end of the road, just a few steps away, I got my ocean fix! It was just wonderful being able to take long morning and evening seafront walks before and after spending the day with my parents. Alison was always responsive and very helpful. Definitely recommended.

This property is stunning and has the wow factor. If you need somewhere to stay locally, this is it. The property is welcoming and has everything you need and more. I arrived late and checked in around 10pm and had to leave early so unfortunately I didn't get to spend much time there, however it was a lovely comfortable short stay. Very close to the beach if you want to wander down there.
