“The house was clean and comfortable with a great location! The host thought of our every need and the house was well equipped which made our stay more enjoyable. Lots of room for the 8 people who stayed one of our nights. Check in was easy and host was very quick to reply to any questions we had! Will stay there again!”

“Mary Ann and John are very personable hosts who have created a lovely clean and spacious guest unit at their farm. A peaceful, rustic location with top views.”
Completed in 2013, the Guesthouse perfectly complements the 1871 Victorian home to which it is attached. Located on Main Street in historic Vergennes, Vermont, our home is one of several fine examples of the architecture of the 19th Century that grace our City. Our thriving downtown is a short walk away, boasting exceptional dining and shopping opportunities. Vergennes is a short 20-minute drive away from Middlebury College, and 45 minutes from Burlington.
“Super well-appointed accommodations. Everything was clean, clean, clean! The guesthouse was decorated to a very high standard with art work galore. Very unique appointments including sliding “barn” doors for the rooms/closets. I would offer that the guesthouse is probably best for a couple or a set of close friends. We don’t have young children, but this might not be the perfect spot for them. Clearly a lot of effort has been put into the design of this space. 2Brs upstairs with a large bed in each (queen?). Bathroom is clean & contemporary. Kitchen had everything we needed.....and Jeff supplied the coffee as well! Great place to relax and unwind. Very quiet too. Some great food in short walking distance as well. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience. We would definitely stay there again if we were in the area. > 5 stars”
