Mini Huus im schönen Thurgau

We rent our small fine minimalist house with 55 m² of living space in a rural location in Thurgau. The house includes a bedroom and entrance area on the first floor and living area, kitchen and bathroom on the upper floor. It has a rather steep staircase which is why it is unfortunately not suitable for people with disabilities. Parking is right outside the building. A balcony (south-facing) is equipped with a small garden table and chairs. Please note that we do not have public transport.

In our detached house, we rent our modern studio. The studio is located on the 1st floor, has its own entrance and is completely separate from our living area, except for the common staircase. We attach great importance to sustainability and heat our own home with geothermal energy and generate electricity with our PV system. Experience the special feeling of starting the day with a good conscience. Right next to the house entrance is there is a free parking space.

The log cabin is located on the Haselbachhof, which is run by our family in the 3rd generation. The region is also called Mostindien, because of the many apple trees. There are 450 trees on the Haselbachhof, plus 40 dairy cows, 10 Angus suckler cows, 10 horses, a few sheep, cats and dogs.

The apartment was warm, impeccably clean and very conveniently located — close to everything, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Susanne deserves a special mention: exceptional, cultivated, available and always attentive. You can tell she put a lot of care into every detail, with a real sense of hospitality. Highly recommend and will be happy to come back!

I really enjoyed my stay with Johannes and his family. he and his wife are so kind. I was invited to eat with them, Johannes explored the city with me (and once with his children) and the family and I visited the community garden. He knows a lot about the city and will tell you so much, basically I got an exclusive city tour. it's not the typical sperated Airbnb where you barely see the host, you will have a room in a flat. I prefer that kind of traveling (specially with hosts like them). Communication is super easy, Johannes is very responsive.

A minimalist countertop complements the built-in appliances and provides a functional workspace. The flooring presents a warm, wooden texture, enhancing the room's contemporary design.

The house is super clean. The host allowed me to check in very early at 1000 and he deliberately wait for me before going to work. He even dropped me off to the train station when he went to work on the following day. I am very grateful for his hospality and would highly recommend to stay here if you plan to visit St. Gallen.
