House vacation rentals in Waldeck-Frankenberg

Very friendly host, but difficult to communicate due to the language barrier. A clear email in advance, which allows you to enter immediately upon arrival. Spacious garage where you can put your car dry and let your ski stuff dry. The house is dated, but that was already visible in the pictures. Still, everything was clean! The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen also has everything you need: stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee and tea. For the kids, there were games and a playsyation. Behind the house is a lawn where the dog could sniff. There is not much to do within walking distance, but it is about 20 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Winterberg. In summary, it is a nice, spacious, somewhat dated, clean house with plenty of space inside and outside. Friendly hosts and good location to relax.

Cozy bungalow on a nicely located campsite. Everything very clean and functional, the underfloor heating was a "gift" with unexpected snowfall at the end of April, the reception at the campsite very friendly. We had an absolutely unforgettable weekend - the area is excellent for road bike rides and other exciting activities. Great value - everything was right. Having your own sharp kitchen knife is not a mistake ;)

We stayed with our friends for the weekend. Combined we had 4 children. It was great for the kids playing outside and they had a great time. Highly recommended! Would love to come back.

We've been to the property before, a year ago. Nothing has changed our impression: Great apartment with plenty of comfort, the surroundings are fantastic. Ilona was again a very good and pleasant host. Furthermore, an absolute recommendation!

A very nice place to stay. Although it is a bit remote, it is an excellent place to relax, especially thanks to the wellness area.

Quiet location to relax

The house was as described. Communication in advance was great, we already knew exactly what to expect. Check-in went smoothly. The play barn and playroom were also very attractive to us. In the area you could do a lot of business, and there was information in advance. Lots of opportunities to sit outside. In short, we felt comfortable at the place and can recommend it.

We arrived by car, felt right at home after arrival and slept great. The area was pleasantly quiet, there were many attractions for children/families and great opportunities for food, coffee, cake and ice cream. The hosts were very warm and professional. We will be happy to come back.

Perfect location to walk to shops and restaurants. The house is very nice and has everything you need. Well appointed modern kitchen with a dishwasher. It was clean and the beds and furniture was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

Everything has already been said about this accommodation: In my opinion, it is also a premium choice with regard to all the important questions that play a role in a short break: location, appearance, cleanliness, amenities and the contact with Alex and Jan is of a quality that I would like to recommend and to which I would like to return again:) Thank you for a wonderful time in Sauerland!

We were three couples plus kids. The place is much better than you can capture with photos. It's really perfect for families. The toys are great, great books, great garden with a mega trampoline. It was just perfect for us. We wanted to spend a lot of time there, despite the changeable weather, we were busy with everyone indoors and outdoors at all times. The kitchen is excellently equipped. If you want to look for something that is "missing", then labels on the cabinets, where something is inside. The kitchens are huge and there's soooo much. :-D So, thank you, thank you, thank you. We are looking through our calendar to see when we can come back. Best regards

We had a wonderful weekend in Warburg, it was perfect for our needs and exceeded our expectations in several ways. Warburg is a very pretty town with an old town where the accommodation was located. We rented all three apartments in the beautiful half-timbered house to spend a weekend with our adult children. Everyone had their own area, but in the top apartment there was also the possibility to eat together at a large table and play in the evening. That was great. The apartments are very tastefully and modernly furnished, we didn't miss anything. David is a very accommodating, patient and nice host who has not tired of answering my many questions in advance in a friendly manner. The surroundings of Warburg are also super beautiful, so absolutely worth a trip!!

This was the perfect house for our family trip (with 3 generations). Very nice amenities. The location couldn't have been better for us. We definitely recommend the accommodation and the very friendly hosts. Kind regards again to the beautiful Edersee :-)

We had a great stay with a total of three families. Ulla is a very nice, helpful and accommodating hostess. The accommodation and surroundings were really fantastic for a quiet break!

Had a wonderful time in a comfortable stay. Too bad the electronic door handle gave it up the last night so we had to sit outside for an hour. However, the case has been resolved by a friendly neighbor and the owner. Too bad Quartierfreund could not be reached...

We were in Vöhl for an extended weekend and the apartment was perfect. New and very clean, friendly hosts, we felt very comfortable (...and passed our sailing license on Lake Edersee). The kids loved the net and right around the corner is an Edeka very convenient to reach. Thank you so much for the hospitality!

We spent some nice days at Klaus's place in Selkentrop. The accommodation is newly renovated, totally cozy, clean and is very quiet and close to nature – ideal for a small break with children. Especially great: the private playground right by the house. Everything was well equipped and child friendly (high chair, fall-out protection by the bed). Otherwise, everything was great and Klaus, who lives on the property with his family, was very friendly and easily accessible.

Hansi is very personable, explained everything to us directly. We stayed there for 4 nights and we were more than satisfied. The house was very nicely equipped and everything was clean. You just have to bring your own bed linen and towels. I can recommend this house to everyone. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The "Pomeranian pearl" was a hit. We felt very comfortable. We were able to make good use of the terrace in the beautiful garden in the best weather. The accommodation is lovely, very cozy, everything is clean and nothing was missing in the bathroom, kitchen and other rooms. Looking forward to next time. 1000 thanks to Kerstin!

Andreas Airbnb is exactly as described in her listing. We had a great stay with plenty of space and everything you need. Andrea and her husband are very nice and have really good tips for the area. We felt very comfortable and can definitely recommend the accommodation!

A trip with 3 adults and 2 children. Plenty of space, so many loving details. An incredibly beautiful garden. All as described. Whether for grandma and grandpa or the children .. everything was there and really lovingly designed. Open the door and feel good! Very nice stay! The cottage is very complete, has everything and makes the stay very pleasant. Only comment, downstairs there was more dust than upstairs. Partly because it was always a bit cooler there, it was a bit sensitive for people with asthma. Upstairs, everything was very clean. All in all a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended!

We took our first short vacation with baby and were very satisfied with the apartment. Despite the basement, it was bright enough and cozy. The bed is very large and comfortable and the apartment is equipped with everything you need. Kathrin was also so kind and provided us with a travel bed for our baby. Since we had very warm weather during our stay, we were very pleased with the pleasantly cool temperature in the apartment. An absolute highlight for our little one was the playground with swings in the garden, which we were allowed to use at any time. We were able to park the car directly in front of the property at the hedge, so we didn't have to deal with looking for a parking space. Check-in and check-out were very straightforward and easy and communication with Kathrin was great. She is very friendly and helpful and we felt very comfortable. We highly recommend the apartment.
