Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Walcheren

Perfect stay for families with a young child. Our son has enjoyed the animals and learned from the farm. The cottage had all the comforts and is well located as a starting point for day trips. It was only a week, but in terms of experience and relaxation it felt like a whole vacation month. Enjoyed it very much!

We felt very comfortable in the house. Great south-facing terrace, quiet, very comfortable bed, plenty of dishes and cutlery. The blackout and mosquito protection on the windows should be emphasized - so you have fresh air at night. The location is great. You can walk to the beach in 10 minutes. The small town also has nice restaurants to offer. A trip to Middelburg is worthwhile and not far. A parking space at the house is also convenient, otherwise everything is subject to a fee. Soap, dish soap and so should be brought, but it is also in the description. Very nice and unobtrusive hosts. We highly recommend it!

It was simply wonderful in the little cottage by the lake at Rosalie's. We immediately felt comfortable and you could tell that there is a lot of attention to detail in the place. Very clear recommendation! 😍

We spent six days in Oostkapelle. The apartment is close to the center, so the restaurant and supermarket are within walking distance. Beach is on foot or by bike. The apartment is clean and has everything you need. The only thing that was not ideal, the kitchen refrigerator is a bit noisy.

wonderful accommodation in a quiet side street in Westkapelle. Parking is available right in front of the house. Great welcome and great accommodation. even bigger than expected in the photos. Kitchen perfectly equipped, storage space for handcart. Everything clean and well maintained. We felt super comfortable. Best of all, the playground and beach are less than a 5-minute walk. Bakery also within walking distance. You can also walk to the supermarket. Sunny terrace. We will definitely be back.

We stayed in Middelburg for one night. The apartment is super centrally located and you can explore the city from there. Apartment is clean and maintained. We would come back anytime.

Marcella and Levien have created a little paradise and pamper their guests! You'll feel welcome right away. Pure relaxation with infrared shower, hot tub and other amenities. We'll bring our grandchildren with us next time. They would have a lot of fun with the playground equipment and hiding places on the extensive, fenced grounds! Thanks so much for the nice days! A beautiful and spacious apartment we stayed in E. Very neat and very clean, equipped with everything, you will lack nothing. Nice bottle of wine on arrival or a cup of coffee or tea. The bed slept fantastically. We also found the bathroom very nice. Their own magazine was also very nice when entering with information about the area and where you can eat or have a drink, and also nice to see how they handled the renovations with photos of then and now. Highly recommended if you want to stay in Middelburg!

Highly recommend! The apartment is super nice, very clean and well located in Oostkapelle (the beach is minutes away). Jose is a great hostess - we didn't miss anything and if so, she would have been there! We felt very comfortable and hope to be able to return. Thank you.

Brilliant location, down a quiet side street but an easy stroll to the centre of Middelburg. Quite basic accommodation but everything we needed. Jürien was a great host, very communicative before our arrival and full of local recommendations. His special map was a real bonus!

We enjoyed great days at Julie's place. Everything was as described, the place was easy to get to. Even if the accommodation is on the outskirts of Vlissingen, you can quickly get to the city. The accommodation lacks nothing, Julie has really thought of everything - from sunscreen and aftersun, if that was forgotten, to paracetamol. We will be happy to come back.

Cozy apartment on the edge of Dishoek with private parking right outside the door. The kitchen is well equipped. The apartment has an optimal size for 2 people. The two bicycles that you can use for free are also great. WiFi is reliable and fast enough for streaming. It was perfect for an extended weekend for two.

The flat is super cute and located in a great location. It’s close to all central attractions with paid parking just 3 mins away as described. Also charged at the lot which was helpful with my EV. It is on a main road so can be a bit noisy, but I’d absolutely recommend this place and stay here again.

We had a lovely week at Mylène's apartment. The apartment is equipped with everything you need and the bedding in the bedroom is very comfortable. The terrace is spacious and the sea view is beautiful. On sunny days, it's a pure pleasure to enjoy this beautiful terrace. For the grayer and windier days, you can continue to enjoy the beautiful sea view from inside the apartment. If you like to watch the sea "live" this is the place. Mylène's welcome is warm and she ensures that your stay is as comfortable as possible. We'll most certainly be back!

Appartement impeccable

We had a great time in Carlien's beautiful studio!The studio is very tasteful and lovingly furnished - we felt immediately comfortable! The beautiful terrace belonging to the studio and the 2 associated bicycles were also great. We used them a lot! Carlien is a very friendly, warm host who was always available - we will definitely come back to this cute studio - it was a great vacation!

Everything was great. The studio is clean, very nicely furnished and the view of the sea is fantastic. The surroundings are also very quiet, right on the beach and you can fall asleep with the sound of the sea... we enjoyed it very much and had a great stay.

Grace really deserves her SuperHost status. She is sympathetic and very kind. She manages her flat perfectly, flat is very cosy, nicely furnished, very clean and full of small nice intentions. Location is great, walking distance from the beach. 6*
