Vacation rentals with beach access in Waipouli Beach

Great place, great amenities and hassle free hosts.

We’ve stayed in Baby’s Beach area and Koloa before but never at Kuhio Shores. We really enjoyed location and the unit! The stove wasn’t working properly so that was a bummer as it disrupted a couple meals we planned to make but they were very responsive and came to unit to assess situation. We would stay here again.

WOW we loved this location so much!!! Right across the parking lot there are shops and an ABC market. Then RIGHT next door is Imua coffee which has the besttt coffee and gf df bfast item. Then the hotel next door has yoga every morning at 830am- drop-ins allowed for all!! This Airbnb has some units in the building operating as hotel, so it very much gave a hotel feel with spectacular grounds and clean everywhere. Would recommend for proximity to airport, and distance to north and South Island.

We had a lovely stay at Jim’s place. The condo had everything we needed and all that you’d need to have a great beach day (snorkels, umbrella, chairs, towels, etc). Easy check in and free parking. The facility across the road for a pool, outdoor gym, etc., was a nice touch and something we enjoyed utilizing. 10 min walk to the beach and a cute area for dinner, we recommend Keoki’s paradise for drinks. A 5 minute walk to a great breakfast cafe, little fish. Overall we would absolutely stay here again.

We only stayed one night, got there pretty late and left very early in the morning. Place was perfect for our needs, easy and flexible check-in, clean, great location. I would stay again if in Kauai.

We had a fantastic stay at Margarette’s place. The grounds are so well maintained by Matt. Always felt so safe and private. Loved using the barbecue under the pergola and enjoying our coffee while enjoying the view of the mountains. The apartment had everything we needed including a whole kitchen which helped us save money on food. Very cozy overall. The neighborhood has a lot of conveniences nearby. Only con is that our apartment backs up to a parking lot just beyond the fence so engine revving and noise did happen late at night. Also lots of chickens, but that’s everywhere. Earplugs generously provided solved that. Stayed at a fair amount of airbnbs and this lists as one of our favorites. Highly recommend and give 5 stars.

I absolutely loved my stay at this property. The location could not have been more perfect and I especially appreciated the free parking since I had a rental car. The ocean view was something I did not expect, but am now so grateful for… absolutely stunning and such a treat. I was traveling alone so it was the perfect size for me. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood right on the beach. Thank you!!!

Adam and Beata’s place was great for our vacation! It’s a very peaceful place with a beautiful yard. It was great for two and we really appreciated the thoughtful amenities, such as having snorkels, boogie boards, and beach chairs in case we needed them. We loved our stay!

Extra points for that beautiful view from the main bedroom (rainbows every day) and the shower is excellent! We had a great stay at the „little red haus“. Clark was great and always helpful at communicating everything. Very uncomplicated check-in and -out. Mahalo 🌺

Great location and unit had all the necessities for the stay. There were also some nice touches by the owners with snacks and coffee for our stay. Just need to take note that there was no air-conditioning and the weather was hot, especially in the day.

Great place for family gathering. Everything was well stocked and ready to go. This included a complete kitchen, towels, laundry soap and a garage full of outdoor gear. The back deck was a popular place for reading and conversation. We would definitely stay here again!

Devaki was such a sweet and awesome host. Perhaps the best location in Hanalei Bay. 100 foot walk to beach and less than a quarter mile walk to town.

Enjoyed the most mellow and relaxing vacation with my adult children. We walked daily on the great pathway and took in the blue ocean and the peaceful setting. The neighborhood was quiet and what I expected. We enjoyed eating at all the wonderful local places within a casual 20 minute walk. It was rainy this time of the year so sometime we just stayed and chilled in the awesome living room. The house is old so it has its charms but it felt like going to a beach house. There are plenty of windows and we slept with them open and it was very windy at night so we didn’t miss the a/c at all. We are from the Pacific Northwest, my son said he was surprised that 72 degrees could feel so cold and it was funny to see him wear his puffy jacket at times. Anyone staying here in the spring should probably bring a jacket because the wind and moisture can make it feel a lot colder than it should be due to being right next to the ocean. This is an excellent location overall.

We couldn’t have asked for anything else! This place was stocked with everything to enjoy your Kauai vacation. The garage had lots of things to go out and use at the beach and around Princeville. The house was beautiful, peaceful, and exactly what we were hoping for! Amy was awesome and extremely accommodating and responsive. We would 100% stay here again!! Thanks🌺

My sisters and I loved this place. Ingrid is great, quick to respond and very helpful. The location is beautiful, very close to great beaches and snorkeling. The beach is just across the street and always empty giving one the feel of having a private beach. Great views from the dining room so we often ate dinner at home after being gone for the day. Close to a great little coffee shop-The Haven. We look forward to going back!

Our family felt right at home, thanks to Donna! It was comfortable and clean, and really ended up being exactly how she described! We will definitely reach out to Donna next time we're coming to Kauai!

Perfect place for vacation in Kauai HI Cute and cozy stay, with the best view ever! Kapa’a is centrally located near all activities; hiking, biking, kayaking, shopping and near restaurants. Place is clean, spacious and has everything you need for a great getaway. I highly recommend and would stay again.

We loved our stay! Summer’s place was clean and the perfect size for my husband and I. She had snorkel gear, boogie boards, and extra toiletries that really helped us! We also loved all the recommendations she gave us on what to do. The area was private but walkable to restaurants and the beach!

We enjoyed our stay here - close to the beach and some fun local spots. Bruce was very responsive and friendly.

Such a nice lady left us beach chair snorkeling stuff umbrella for the beach cooler and container for fruit for cooler and such a sweetheart

The view from the Airbnb is fantastic. This was our first time in Kauai and I couldn’t decide if we wanted to stay in the north side or south side. Staying in Kapaa allowed us to visit the rest of the island easily, and there are plenty of restaurants and activities to explore immediately next to the Airbnb. Having beach chairs and umbrellas to bring to the beach is so nice! While we didn’t cook any meals, the kitchen is a full kitchen and would have been easy to eat meals in. We stayed in April and didn’t use the window AC in the bedroom. Highly recommend!

Darrin’s place was absolutely incredible. The condo was bright, clean, welcoming, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and memorable trip to Kauai. The location was perfect for exploring the island, and coming back to such a comfortable, peaceful spot each evening made our trip even more special. We had a truly amazing stay at this beautiful beachfront home in Kauai. The location is absolutely stunning—steps from the sand, with peaceful ocean views and the relaxing sound of waves around the clock. The apartment was incredibly well equipped, especially for traveling with a toddler. From the child-safe setup to the thoughtful amenities (like a high chair, pack 'n play, and beach toys), everything was designed to make our stay easy and comfortable. We felt totally at ease, and our little one was so happy exploring and playing safely. It’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the natural beauty of Kauai. We would absolutely love to return—highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a peaceful island retreat!
