Vacation rentals with beach access in Wadduwa

Would definitely return again to Faahim’s in a heartbeat. The Airbnb really felt like home and all the facilities for my family were great. Faahim and his father are so friendly and we really enjoyed the stay.

Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night before our flight home, but we have very fond memories of our stay at Mahagedara! At first, we had a little trouble finding the place, but we quickly received all the necessary directions. The apartment is very spacious and well-maintained. The rooms have air conditioning and fans. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and two bathrooms (one connected to a bedroom), along with clean towels and bed linens. The view from the window was fantastic, and the balcony was very large. Additionally, there is access to a rooftop pool with a breathtaking view. We also received numerous recommendations for nearby restaurants and must-visit places. I highly recommend it, and I hope to return someday!

Peter was an amazingly proactive and helpful host, more than happy to give help and advice and answer any questions. The apartment was just as described. Very comfortable with good facilities and a perfect mix of being on a relatively quiet street with sea views but so close to amenities and transport options.

Wir waren Mega zufrieden mit dieser Unterkunft. Laki ist so ein toller Gastgeber! Er hat uns viele Sachen gezeigt und Transfer zur Verfügung gestellt. Zudem war er zu jeder Zeit erreichbar und hat uns immer direkt geholfen. Die Unterkunft ist sauber und gepflegt. Man hat alles was man braucht. Wenn wir wieder nach Hikka kommen, dann definitiv wieder zu Laki! Danke 🩷

Undoubtedly the best Airbnb I’ve stayed at in Sri Lanka. The place was stylish, gets lots of light, and is super quiet and peaceful at night. The area is a little outside of the main part of colombo but you can easily get an uber into the centre for just 500rs, and the benefit is that you’re in a nice leafy suburb with some great local restaurants within walking distance. We will definitely be staying again!

Had a great stay doing a workaway at Amila’s place. Good bang for the buck. Close to beach. Also close to railroad tracks but fortunatrly trains don’t run throughout the night. Wonderful garden and keeper of garden was very attentive and nice. Can recommend!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Felt Just Like Home! Dr. Narada and his wife Ira are the sweetest hosts I’ve ever met. This was by far the best Airbnb experience I’ve had. Their warmth and hospitality made it feel just like home. The location is perfect—ideal for Muslim travelers. It’s close to everything: the beach, masjid, grocery stores, supermarkets, and lots of local shops. Whether you’re planning a short trip or a longer stay, this place has everything you need. If I ever come back to Sri Lanka, I’ll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Only issue if I were to knit pick, Was the bills on top Of the monies already paid. Otherwise the apartment was amazing and I would definitely go back!

I recently stayed at White Villa and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host, Lalith, was incredibly friendly and allways willing to help. It was a pleasure talking with him. The location of the Villa is ideal, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The atmosphere of the place was pleasent and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend White Villa to anyone looking for a great place to stay close to Balapitiya.

Unser Heim in Colombo! Das Apartment ist sehr sauber und modern. Ein Highlight ist die Dachterrasse. Jo spricht, was in Sri Lanka nicht die Regel ist, ausgezeichnet Englisch. Sie und ihre Familie haben sich sehr um uns und unsere Anliegen gekümmert. Die Aufnahme war sehr familiär und herzlich. Ihr Angebot, dass wir uns bei etwaigen problematischen Situationen während unseres Sri Lanka Aufhalst telefonisch an sie um Hilfe wenden können, ist uns eine sehr gute Beruhigung. Gastfreundschaft wird hier groß geschrieben! Das Haus ist günstig gelegen, Restaurants, Supermarkt und Busstation in Laufnähe. Mit den Bussen ist man direkt sehr schnell in der Innenstadt und am Bahnhof. Wir vergeben vollen Herzens 5 Sterne plus 5 Extrasterne für die Gastfreundchaft.

Unser Aufenthalt in Anjas Unterkunft war großartig! Bereits vor unserer Anreise hat Anja uns mit wertvollen Tipps für unsere Sri-Lanka-Reise versorgt, was uns sehr geholfen und unsere anfänglichen Bedenken genommen hat. Wir konnten gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis früher einchecken und wurden herzlich empfangen. Eranga, der sich um das Haus kümmert, hat uns ein köstliches Mittagessen nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet – ein perfekter Start nach einer langen Reise! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die zwei Zimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügen jeweils über ein eigenes Badezimmer. Wohnzimmer, Küche und Terrasse befinden sich ebenfalls auf einer Ebene. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool geliebt, der eine ideale Größe hat und von wunderschönen Palmen umgeben ist. Wir konnten den Pool ganz privat nutzen. Highlight war die Dachterrasse mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergängen. Wir können Anja's Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles.

Loved the villa! Right on the beach. Spacious. Loved the simple, elegant interiors, and the muted lighting. We all had a great time in the pool by the beach. The speaker is awesome. Jaan was always prompt in responding. And they proactively informed us that we could check out late as they had no booking on that day - thank you Jaan. The local caretaker Gayan, who lives nearby, comes every day to clean the pool and was helpful. He also drives a tuktuk himself. He came to check on us a few times despite his son being unwell - thank you Gayan. There is a supermarket at a walking distance and a restaurant (called A2). The main town, restaurants, touristy shops are less than 3 kms away and tuktuks are very easily available for hire (the pickme app worked like a charm). We stayed during the off season, so it is quite likely that during the peak season, there are beachfront restaurants and bars operational at a walking distance from the villa.

Thevin's place was an absolute delight to be at, has all the amenities you'd need for a stay, and located in a peaceful area away from all sounds and distractions. Thevin was always helpful and went above and beyond in helping us during our 2 nights stay. Easy to find rides via pick me or uber from the area. Would recommend to anyone!

Nous avons passé un mois complet merveilleux dans la villa. Tout était parfait et la nature environnante absolument époustouflante. J'ai beaucoup apprécié le matériel neuf, aspirateur, ricecooker, machine à laver le linge. L' oncle Sirisena a toujours été présent pour s'assurer que tout allait bien pour nous et était adorable.Un homme exceptionnel. La piscine était quotidiennement entretenue. Je suis immensément reconnaissante pour cette expérience immersive riche en plein milieu de la nature. Nous avons pu observer quantité d'oiseaux magnifiques, des singes, des papillons... C'était parfait et nous sommes reparties les larmes aux yeux. Le seul aspect négatif, s'il fallait en mentionner un, c'est le deuxième matin 8h, un appel de Annalene ( épouse de un des propriétaires) qui a voulu nous soutirer de l'argent supplémentaire car ma mère et moi même n'occupions pas la même chambre, j'ai pourtant payé pour le logement entier au moment de ma réservation.

Am booked in for one week, only a five min walk to the beach. It’s ideally located and has a great open space garden area. You don’t hear any traffic only the sounds of mother nature. The room is spacious and the en suite bathroom has a nice shower. A kettle and basic crockery are provided. There’s ample storage space, plug sockets and space to hang your clothes. It’s very affordable and immaculately clean. The mattress is very comfortable and the ceiling fan keeps you cool throughout the night. There’s a washing machine on the property and the host is very accommodating and kind. The dogs greet you upon returning home. Chathura the host has expert knowledge of the surrounding area and is only too happy to assist you. He’s the consummate host, a well deserved five stars.

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kanishka airbnb. The location was fantastic with easy rides with PickMe. Kanishka was very responsive and easily sorted out any minor issues that came up. Would love to stay here again in the future

Le logement est top. Des gardes surveillent toujours l’entrée. L’espace est sympa une chambre avec SDB, puis une suite parentale avec sa salle de bain privée, les espaces peuvent se dissocier. Balcon avec table pour manger à l’extérieur au top ! Une ligne de train sépare le logement et la plage, mais cela est assez normal au Sri Lanka, car le train longe toute une partie de l’île. L’appartement est situé à une minute de la plage, des Restaurants bordent tout le long de la plage, pas chers, et très sympa ! La plage n’est pas la plus belle de l’île , n’hésitez pas à vous éloigner un peu, et vous verrez des spots encore plus jolis. Un supermarché se trouve à 10 minutes à pied. À deux minutes en tuk tuk super Hotel avec Piscine, qui propose un buffet excellent ! Il y a une piscine sur le toit, elle n’est pas toujours très propre ! Notre hôte nous a donné un contact qui vous a servi de chauffeur une partie de notre séjour. Moins? Pas de volet il faudra vivre au rythme du soleil !

The prime location (right by Marino Mall & Beach) offered unbeatable convenience for shopping, dining, and beach vibes. I had a wonderful stay at this property! The view is absolutely breathtaking, waking up to the sound of the waves and looking out over the ocean each day was a true highlight. The space was spotless and well maintained, with a modern, clean aesthetic and beautiful flooring that added a cozy touch. The location was very convenient, close to everything I needed. On top of that, the host (Heshan) was incredibly helpful and responsive, making sure everything went smoothly during my stay. Der Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung war rundum super! Die Lage ist ideal – in nur 2–3 Gehminuten ist man am Strand, und in die andere Richtung gelangt man schnell in die Stadt. Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind alle in unmittelbarer Nähe. Der Zug hält direkt vor der Haustür, und mit Uber ist man in weniger als 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Die Wohnung selbst ist ruhig, besonders nachts, was für erholsamen Schlaf sorgt. Der Check-in verlief völlig reibungslos, und die Kommunikation mit Shiffan war jederzeit einfach und angenehm. Ein echtes Highlight war der Balkon – abends dort zu sitzen und aufs Wasser zu blicken, war purer Luxus. Ich kann diese Unterkunft wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen – wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the flat was great - really spacious, clean and modern. The view was incredible also, and the aircon worked really well. Sathii was very quick at responding to any queries. I am already planning to revisit here when I am back in Sri Lanka. Thank you

Tusitha is a warm friendly and gracious host. The accommodation offered was comfortable, extremely clean and spacious - certainly for two adults. The assortment of grocery items enabled us to settle into the property with ease. There is adequate parking inside the property for a vehicle. Restaurant options close by are good. It was an absolute please to be at the Hope Residence for our short visit to Colombo. We would certainly stay here again, if the need arises. Thanks Tusitha for your warm hospitality.

Ahmed and Shaira were very helpful and accomodating. The place was lovely, the view from the rooftop pool is awesome, and the place is in a fantastic location. Security was also top notch.
