Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Vossevangen

We had such a lovely stay at Bruvoll Feriehus - the home is very cosy with all the amenities for a relaxing, peaceful stay in this beautiful area of Norway. We found the home clean and comfortable. Annike was always friendly and quick to respond to our questions. Check in and out were both easy with clear instructions.

we found villa tippetue easily, very nicely located with views of the Sognefjord. we did indeed have to go through a piece of forest of about 70m first. unfortunately not much luck with the weather, we did see a little sun every day. the cottage has a very nice terrace with views of the fjord and a cozy living room. there were maps available for walks nearby, also detailed laminated maps. unfortunately the very local part was not present, probably accidentally taken by a previous visitor. We downloaded the Norwegian maps app Norgeskart. The walk stupet naveset tronvik - on the flank there - is also well indicated. There is a ladder and a section where ropes assist the descent (our dog could easily find his own way around it). The ground was still quite wet and sometimes slippery (early June) in hoyanger also nice hiking. To flam it is a good 3h drive. Recommended!

Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

The location is amazing. Words can’t describe how beautiful the valley and farm are. Jannike was welcoming and went above and beyond. I highly recommend this Air BnB and hope we will return again!

Kristine and the whole Haugen family, including dog Alma, are very nice hosts. We felt very comfortable in the beautiful house. Since we had nice weather, we could grill outside. We bought the delicious meat directly from Kristine and Odd from their local farm. Thanks for the hospitality! The place is highly recommended!

Lasse and his family were extremely welcoming. The property was spacious, airy and extremely clean and exceeded expectations. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathrooms and enjoyed stunning views and use of the jetty. Just wish we were better kayakers!

Of all the places we’ve stayed on vacations to date, this was the most beautiful. So peaceful, so quiet and private. And there was plenty of room for my family of four. Definitely one of our favorites!

Beautifully updated and comfortable. It was conveniently located near Odda and super close to Trolltunga. The hosts gave great advice on local restaurants and parking for Trolltunga. They were also friendly and helpful.

This is the second time we have stayed at Eldbjørg's, and it is always just as pleasant. Nice and quiet place, with a great view. Clean, good beds and good communication both in advance and during the stay. Thanks for us!

We were delighted to stay at Gunlaug's place for a few nights. The place is spacious, clean, and the check-in very easy. Moreover, the surroundings are magic and close to many natural attractions. Finally, Gunlaug is very kind and helpful, she goes the extra mile to make us feel at home! Very much recommended, we will back :)

The apartment was very clean and tidy. Everything that is needed was amply present. The bed was fine. The view from the apartment and from the garden is very beautiful. The weather was not very good but fortunately there are many walks and hikes in the area, even in bad weather. Bjorn and his wife were very quick with their responses and very friendly and helpful where necessary. I can recommend the stay here to anyone!

The first floor of the house is for rent out of the two. The location is very good, quiet environment with amazing views of the mountains and fjords. The rooms have been recently repaired or very well maintained, everything is in order and we found what we needed. Thank you Bergfrid for your welcome!

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

This place is not just an ordinary Airbnb ,it truly feels like a real home. 😊 Beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need. You feel comfortable the moment you walk in. Sofie is such a kind and caring host, always quick to respond to any questions and genuinely helpful. The area is peaceful and lovely, with friendly and welcoming neighbors. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave today ! It was hard to say goodbye to such a beautiful place. We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

We had a very nice stay at Hilde's house. The location right on the fjord is very nice. The house was absolutely big enough for us with 10 people. Everything was very clean and beautiful. The boat, which can be rented in addition, is simple but in very good condition and has a 20 hp motor. As an angler, I can say: The fjord is an absolutely excellent body of water for mackerel and saithe. Hilde also gave us great tips for excursions. Thank you!

Very cozy cabin. The different rooms in the cabin are experienced as larger than it looks in the pictures. Perfect location if you are going to Mikkelparken as it was only 5 min to drive there.

Loved how quiet the location is and the hiking trail behind the house was wonderful!! The family felt right at home. Communication with the host was easy and reliable, and the accommodations were fantastic. You can easily get an Uber or taxi into town, and the wait was always less than 10 minutes. We can’t speak highly enough about the house, room, views, and the host. We look forward to coming back someday. 🤩

Wonderful location in the heart of Bergen - perfect for waking to just about anything. Kristin was helpful and responsive and we had a wonderful stay!

Stunning location right at the edge of the bay with beautiful views of the sea on one side and steep mountain slopes on the other. Its a nice quiet village with lovely plantations and fields. The house has big glass windows to enjoy the exceptional views. The place was spotlessly clean. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had all the utencils, crockery and all the required kitchen gadgets. There was enough place for the 8 of us to not feel crowded inside. There was enough place to park our 2 vehicles. Every single detail was thought through. The linen and towels were clean. Absolutely nothing I could think of that was missing or not up to the mark. 10/10 for me.

We were 6 adults and 5 kids here for a weekend. It was absolutely phenomenal for both adults and small and big enough that we felt we had a lot of room around us. It was adapted to the smallest ones as well, with stair gates and little pø that could be ruined. There were also toys in the room above the garage so the little ones could bike and slide slide. Recommended!
