In addition, there is a large terrace with a grill and fire pit, and a garden with access to a greenhouse during the season. There is also a newly established playground on the street. Located close to Svostrup Kro and the hiking trail by the Gudenå river.

The house is close to the forest, which is filled with beautiful lakes, and it is a 3-minute drive from Silkeborg's most beautiful lake, which you can see in the pictures. There is grass + outdoor areas, and the house has two bedrooms, a large living room + conservatory, kitchen, hallway, bathroom and toilet. There is WiFi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to enjoy peace, nature experiences, socializing and lovely conversations!

Our beautiful guest house is located in the scenic Gjern Bakker in the middle of Søhøjlandet with the nature trail right outside the door. There is a private entrance from private parking space to the cozy and spacious house. The house has a nice living room, high-speed internet and TV. Please do not share the house with others. The kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, air fryer, oven, microwave, coffee maker, 2 hotplates. Instant coffee and tea bags. There is access to a small terrace in the berry garden via the door in the kitchen. Access to Room 2 is via the stairs in Room 1.

Relax in this cozy and peaceful Bed and Breakfast apartment with space for fun both indoors and outdoors. You have entrance from the garden side, private living room with a small French country kitchen, private bathroom and toilet as well as a bedroom with a good 140 cm wide bed. You are very welcome to use the garden, where there is the possibility of both entertainment and relaxation. There are several cozy corners with garden furniture that you are very welcome to use, just as there is a fireplace and barbecue. If you come in an electric car, you can charge it with us.

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and peaceful side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s and was originally an old stable, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg, and Skanderborg. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. Located in the middle of nature, a small cozy village close to Hinge Lake and Serup Forest, but only 5 km from the Herning/Århus highway. It is 6 km to Kjellerup, 10 km to Silkeborg, 26 km to Viborg. A small cozy house that was newly renovated in 2024 with a large lawn and good parking facilities and very quiet and beautiful surroundings.
