Family-friendly vacation rentals in Villach

The only negative thing about our stay was that it was just way too short;) We enjoyed the time incredibly! There were no wishes left unfulfilled and Gerald welcomed us very warmly as a host. The surroundings are just awesome, whether hiking in the hills behind the house or chilling by the lake or paddling with the rowboat or, or, or... just beautiful!

The stay at Tina and Igors house was wonderful! The house is even nicer then in the description and pictures. Two saunas, a whirlpool, the outdoor kitchen... And everything is top notch and up to date, e.g. the kitchen is really well supplied and you have everything you could need. We really enjoyed our time there and the communication was always super easy and friendly. We definitely want to return and also recommend it to everyone.

We spent 6 days in the apartment, it had everything you needed, including towels and bathrobes. The apartment was clean and the view was gigantic. There is a very tasty pizzeria Lärchenhof nearby. You can use all the amenities of the hotel, such as pools, sauna, entertainment for kids, etc. Bread service or half board/full board would also be individually bookable. With the guest card, you get many discounts. We found the stay very nice and will definitely be back! Our kids would have liked to just stay there ;) thanks for the great time!

We had a great stay at the house - it was our first trip to Slovenia and staying in such a beautiful location made it even better. The hot tub was amazing but be warned it does take a good few hours to heat up and when we were there, there was only logs to get the fire going, we had to buy news paper and firestarters, so just bear in mind that a trip to Bovec may be necessary. Only other thing to mention was when we checked out we struggled to find the waste bin the host mentioned that was up the hill - the nearest other bin place didn’t do general waste (recycling etc only) so we had to drive a little bit with the black bag in the car. Otherwise though it was amazing and would definitely recommend.

We had the most amazing stay in this chalet. It was very clean and well equipped for a very relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The scenery is beautiful and I would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. The family are very friendly and we loved the sheep surrounding the property fence, they were so fun to watch. It's a nice apartment where you can relax. You can easily go around from there and visit different places. Tadeja is very nice and accommodating. She is very proactive and gives a lot of information.

The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

Place was very clean . We enjoyed stay there and it was very easy to get in touch with them and you see beautiful mountains at the back

Roman and Milena were very gracious and frendly hosts. They had special treats when we arrived and were very informative about the local hikes and restaurants. The location is just magical. So peaceful and beautiful! The cottage is well equipped and spotless! There are even slippers available for guest use! Very thoughtful. We hope to come back sometime for a longer stay. We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house near Lake Bled. The host met us upon arrival, gave us a warm welcome, and shared recommendations for exploring the area. We also rented electric bikes from him, which was a great way to discover the surroundings. The house itself was very comfortable and well‑equipped — we especially enjoyed the grill, which was a nice addition for making dinner. The host also organized a rafting trip for us, which turned out to be a highlight of our trip. All in all, this was the best accommodation we stayed in during our trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. We would love to return!

The house is very cozy and perfect for an outdoor / fitness vacation. The gym is well equipped and the sauna offers the perfect relaxation option. Angelika and Jürgen are super friendly and accommodating, check-in and check-out were smooth and communication very fast and always warm. We especially liked the hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. All in all, definitely highly recommended!

Beautifully decorated apartment, Elizabeth took care of every detail, has her own style. Equipped with everything you need for your holiday. It is located in a closed garage, the host informs that it is not suitable for parking a long car, but I managed to park a car 4.63 m long :). The host is very communicative and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Peter and his family are very nice and warm, I immediately felt comfortable. The cottage is as described, small, rustic, cozy, surrounded by nature and with fantastic views. I really enjoyed my stay here and can fully recommend the cottage as well as the host.

Everything was great! The place is very nice & central, you have your own little kingdom - very nicely decorated & I also loved the terrace. The hostess is a very sweet and helpful person! I highly recommend this place! :)

We stayed a short week in Sven's house. It is even more spacious, more atmospheric and tastefully decorated than in the photos. A very spacious living room and spacious bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped. Bathroom is spacious and beautiful. The whole house is clean and tidy. The garden is not spacious but sufficiently large. You can enjoy the bird sounds. Enjoy the sun or sit cool in the shade. Sven's dog is very sweet and likes to say hello. That also applies to Caesar, the neighbor's friendly dog who likes to walk with you or stop by for a pat on the head. There is some activity on the farm next door. Certainly not all day. Wasn't disturbing to us either. We immediately felt comfortable, thanks in part to Sven's kindness!

After a little struggle with finding the place, not really the fault of the host's directions, the reward was enormous. not a big space but the views were astonishing. The space was adequate, with functional kitchen and amenities and beautifully presented, but it was the outside which makes this place amazing. We didn't want to leave and neither will you.

Amazing couple of days stay in Most Na Soci. Property was sizeable and had all the utilities we needed. Host was amazing and was kind enough to give us a lift too and from the train station when we arrived and departed. Couldn’t recommend more!

The apartment fully corresponds to the photos in the listing, it is located on the 3rd floor and grants a superb view of the lake from a side balcony, which can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment. The arrival was hassle-free and the reception staff very accommodating. The pool and the sun loungers on the jetty can also be used. Overall a great stay, the contact with Eberhard was uncomplicated, he responds immediately to questions

Absolutely amazing mountain hut in stunning scenery. Teresa and Stefan have put in loads of work so that you can get back to basics, slow down and live it up in natural luxury! Thoroughly recommend Danke schon!

Had a wonderful stay with Ulrike, where we stayed a few days for my husband's Iron Man nearby. We were very warmly welcomed, Ulrike and her husband are very sweet people and you can ask them anything. The photos match very well with what you can expect. Everything you needed was present and everything was very clean on arrival. It was also a wonderfully fresh accommodation, which came in handy during the hot days. Nice terrace to sit and eat outside. Ulrike and her husband are really so sweet and kind. Always a very warm and pleasant contact when you meet them. The area is beautiful and there is a lot to see nearby: located near the Wörtersee, Maria Wörth (beautiful church on the lake), Pyramidenkogel (viewing tower with a view over the entire Wörtersee), near Klagenfurt, Velden, supermarket,... We greatly enjoyed our stay! Thank you! :)

Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.
