House vacation rentals in Vex

We had a nice ski stay in Roya's chalet. Spacious and cozy, children were able to find plenty of toys and books. Hosts are responsive and friendly. The cottage is really a stone's throw from the baths, within walking distance. Access to the ski slopes is by a shuttle, the stop is accessible on foot too. And the arrival is flexible, which is very convenient.

Amazing few days spent in this lovely chalet. Nadine was very flexible with our check in and extremely helpful. The chalet is very well designed and exactly as advertised. The swimming pool was an extra bonus.

Patrick's house is in all respects as advertised. Spacious, conveniently located and with beautiful lake and mountain views. The decor may surprise but took us on a journey! The upstairs bathroom is very nice with its sauna and bathtub (maybe it's missing a curtain or something at the window). Clean restrooms and bedding. The upstairs games room is really great and the terrace is very nice. Patrick is very responsive and his fact sheets explaining the functioning of the house are very well done. We enjoyed not being stressed for checkout with an extended schedule.

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The house is set in a breathtaking location surrounded by vineyards and mountains, with a stunning view overlooking Martigny and the valley below. Architecturally, the building is truly impressive—modern, stylish, and thoughtfully designed to create a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Everything needed for a comfortable stay was provided, and it’s clear that great care has gone into making the space welcoming and functional. The hosts, Natalie and Mathieu, were exceptional—warm, friendly, and generous with their time. They offered great insights into how everything works and even shared details about the design and inspiration behind the house. This was not just a place to stay, but a memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and serene getaway.

Andrine and his wife were amazing, the house does not have wash machine, but when we ask for it, the family took our clothes, they wash and dry them. Amazing place and friendly place. Hopefully another time in Switzerland we will come back here again

Our family greatly enjoyed our stay at Nicolas’ house in Salvan. The home was cozy and unique, with a fireplace and beautiful views. We enjoyed nice walks nearby and easy access to the Mont Blanc Express. We also had everything we needed for our baby - a pack n play and high chair. We appreciated Nicolas’ friendliness and thoughtfulness. Hope to be back in the future!

Bruno went to great lengths to make my stay enjoyable. He led me through the village and explained the building systems to me. The kitchen was perfectly equipped with basics. The electric floor heating was extremely pleasant in a cold and rainy rainy week. Although the house is very small, it is surprisingly spacious. Bathroom to feel good, bed on the upper floor comfortable. Everything is lovingly and pragmatically furnished and has atmosphere. Arriving by car requires fearless driving: steep, winding road, which the PostBus to Visp mastered briskly. The train station is very convenient (the BLS runs to Brig in 20 minutes) and downhill in 4 minutes, uphill I had to take a breather (I'm 70 :-) The hiking opportunities directly from the house are ideal for short walks or long tours.

Our stay here was lovely. Perfect views and so peaceful. Would definitely stay again!

What a nice place and what to say about the proposed dwelling, a real joy. For people looking for tranquility and surrounded by nature, there's nothing like this place. We would recommend it without hesitation

Anne Lise is friendly and accommodating. The chalet is beautiful, super renovated, warm and it lacks almost nothing. The view is fantastic, the furnishings cozy. I recommend EVERYONE to try to rent this chalet, experience Anne Lise and enjoy Zinal.

Beautiful chalet in a beautiful place, very quiet, no through road so little traffic. Everything is present in the cottage, everything was clean and tidy. Full sized fridge and freezer. Garden and balcony fenced so the dog could walk around quietly. A big plus! Wonderful to sit outside, with many birds and even a squirrel. In the village, all amenities are available, bakery, supermarket, restaurants. Beautiful hiking all around, you don't need the car for that anymore. The access road is an experience in itself. Nearby is another waterfall and chairlift. If you go by train, the Mont Blanc Express is recommended. All in all, a wonderful vacation!

First, I would like to thank the owners of the house, very nice and cooperative people The place is very beautiful in the village of Idliboden. The view is very beautiful. The pictures did not show that, but the accommodation in general is beautiful. There is only one problem. The smell of chicken in the basement is annoying and the flies because of the cowshed are annoying. I hope to open windows in all the windows of the house.

Four-day, three-night stay, early June. Very friendly welcome with good explanations of access and use; very available. The decor is done with great taste and the place, with its history well explained in a photo book, is very charming. We were admiring of the work that was done to obtain such a beautiful home. Well done. There is everything you could wish for; both for cooking and for resting. The rooms have charm with their woodwork. The environment is quiet and there are a few shops and restaurants in this pretty village. A great discovery. Eric

Can't find a better place in authentic Swiss mountain village. Great location for walks, skiing and other outdoor activities. Very tastefully decorated interior and a perfect host, what more can one wish for?

We stayed in a spacious accommodation spread across four floors, featuring one bedroom on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The property is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a small train station, making it relatively easy to reach—especially if you're arriving via a larger hub like Montreux. However, it's important to note that while the location is scenic and peaceful, the nearby train station is very small and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late and hadn't realized that basic shopping (e.g., milk, butter, kitchen roll, hand towels for the kitchen) needed to be done in advance or in a larger town. Future guests may want to plan ahead and stock up on essentials before arriving. That said, the mountain views and tranquil setting

We loved our stay in Michel and Claire’s beautiful chalet. We really appreciated Michel’s great communication and the clear instructions and recommendations he sent us before we arrived. The house was perfectly set up for our two children (ages 4 and 1), with a crib, high chairs, and kids’ dishes and toys. The view from the chalet is beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. We would happily stay there again!
