Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Veveyse District

Marvellous stay over the Christmas period. I know that this would be a wonderful place to stay at other times of the year since it is so convenient for Lutry and exploring the Lavaux region, making the most of walking trails and public transport and boat links. The accomodation is very attractive and well appointed. The view from the balcony is breathtaking.

The apartment is very nice, clean and well located. It fits the description and photos perfectly, which made our experience even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this listing and will not hesitate to come back during our next stay. Thanks again to our hosts for their warm hosting!

We stayed in a spacious accommodation spread across four floors, featuring one bedroom on the ground floor and another on the second floor. The property is conveniently located just a 1-minute walk from a small train station, making it relatively easy to reach—especially if you're arriving via a larger hub like Montreux. However, it's important to note that while the location is scenic and peaceful, the nearby train station is very small and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity. We arrived late and hadn't realized that basic shopping (e.g., milk, butter, kitchen roll, hand towels for the kitchen) needed to be done in advance or in a larger town. Future guests may want to plan ahead and stock up on essentials before arriving. That said, the mountain views and tranquil setting

Claudia’s home is one of the nicest homes I’ve stayed at. New, clean, huge, and that view!!!! We never wanted to leave and opted for rooftop dinners almost every evening. Truly a beautiful home that our whole extended family could be comfortable in thanks to the separate floors. Claudia was so helpful in explaining how the train works and we loved stepping out the front door to ride into town each day, but escaping to quiet in the evenings. Thank you and we hope to return!

Catrine’s house was a delight to stay in. The magnificent views onto the Lake and Mountains were breathtaking. Clean, spacious and has everything you need. Would definitely come back here if I visit Montreux again.

A magical place, surrounded by vineyards and as if "suspended" above the lake. You don't get tired of looking at this incredible view. The accommodation is very well designed and quiet. Josette and her husband are lovely. We highly recommend this rental.

The apartment is perfect, spacious, extremely clean and well-equipped. The location is ideal, an exceptional view of the mountains and literally at the foot of the ski and tobogganing slopes. However, you should know that the rental is managed by the tourist office, the exchanges remain quite impersonal and the response time is long. We arrived at 6 p.m., so outside the opening hours, and the exact entrance to the building was not indicated (only all the buildings are surrounded on the map). So it was impossible to reach someone, and with 3 children including a baby, in the dark and in the snow, it was very complicated. Other than that the experience is great and we will definitely recommend this place!

Very clean & spacious apartment. Quiet and peaceful. The view overlooks vineyards, a horse farm and Lake Geneva/Alps. We enjoyed watching several hawks coasting above the landscape our last morning. Very charming.

I stayed at Matthieu’s place for three nights while visiting my kid who’s studying in Switzerland. The view was absolutely stunning, and the interior felt like something out of the Ritz Carlton. Clearly, Christelle and Matthieu put a lot of care into every detail. The Wi-Fi was also super fast, which was a big plus. Both Christelle and Matthieu were warm and welcoming. We had some great conversations during my stay. The location is just a 5–7 minute walk from the train station. Unless you're traveling with more than two people, I’d recommend skipping the rental car and going with one or two Eurail business class pass instead. Thank you again, Christelle and Matthieu! We really enjoyed our visit in Epesses. The flat was perfect for us. It even had some toys for our kids. We would stay there again.

Very nice place with 1 large bedroom and one large living room / 2nd bedroom. Kitchen was well equipped. Bathroom was spacious with lots of storage space particularly when travelling with 4 persons. Sara lives on site so this was nice and she was very nice. Location is beautiful but having a car is almost required (there are buses but it will take you 40 minutes to reach Vevey instead of 8 minutes by car) Unit has shared laundry (2 washers and 2 dryers) available anytime (as long as the machines are free) as well as areas to hang laundry which is very convenient when staying for a longer period of time.

Perfect accommodation for two people, super quiet place at the end of the season and close to Leysin (10 minutes), Diablerets (20 minutes) and Portes du Soleil in Champéry (45 minutes).

Had a great short stay at Sebastian's home. Thanks to the charging station, we were able to charge the car at night. Great communication with Sebastian

Amazing place in a great location with many activities to do in the region. Charlène made sure we had everything we needed (with some complimentary goodies!). From information on what to do, how to get there (bikes were included), to a fully equipped kitchen and an amazing bathroom. Fully recommend to anyone looking for a quite getaway with fun activities and great sights.

Such a beautiful place in an equally beautiful location. For those who wish to experience the Swiss country side and yet be fairly close enough to cover all the main attractions of the region, look no further. Stayed 5 nights with my family with 2 kids, and everyday was memorable. The house layout is made for the view, and it’s simply unforgettable.. all the basics are in place and more, no complaints there whatsoever.. in fact one would be pleasantly surprised coming here, for the photos just cannot do justice to what one feels here.. keywords: spacious, comfortable, magical, and beautiful. the hosts and manager were wonderful too.. always ready to help with whatever u need may it be home related or otherwise.. thank you for the amazing experience.. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who wishes to come back to a serene Swiss paradise at the end of a long day of travel, tourists, and attractions..

House perfectly matches the description. Very bright, well-equipped. Very easy and fast communication with Gideon. Very easy and flexible check-in. Perfect for 4 adults and 2 children (2 double beds and 2 single beds).

I have only good things to say about this house in which I spent 3 weeks, as well as its hosts. Everything was easy from start to finish, the hosts were very friendly, responsive and accommodating, the house is huge and very well located in a very quiet residential area but just a 15-minute walk from the center. The property is spacious, bright, with a very nice veranda for sunny days and a nice garden, in addition to other amenities such as the whirlpool bath and sauna. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy and we had unlimited access to everything for a really very honest price. I recommend this rental 100% and would happily go back :)

We stayed at Patrice's house for an extended weekend (6 adults with 4 children). We all had enough space for retreat and great, large common areas. The generosity of Patrice and his family overwhelmed us very much. So many toys were allowed to be used. For our children it was absolute paradise! The amenities in the kitchen, bathroom and garden were also absolutely fantastic. The pool and garden were a dream. We were able to relax very well and enjoyed the time with Patrice very much. We'd love to come back another time.

We had a beautiful stay at the house, it’s very quiet, has a wonderful setting and is well equipped. Stuart was very responsive and forthcoming. You do need a car for getting around for shopping and visiting nearby attractions, and the traffic can get dense during rushhour. This house is highly recommended if you want to spend some beautiful days at and on the lake Geneva.
