Had a great stay at Olga's place, views and garden are spectacular and the house as listed so perfect for either a short or long stay. Olga was great at communicating. Steps down to the property are steep but doable with care. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great whilst we were there but under cover outside seating area and table helped with this. Would recommend 👍

Very cozy accommodation in the Vercasca Valley. If you like it quiet and secluded, you've come to the right place. The property is equipped with everything necessary. It is worth shopping ahead of time, including firewood. Very recommended.

The most breathtaking view ! Perfect spot only 10 minute walk to the town of Dervio. Easy to get the Ferry and explore other spots along the lake. 10/10 recommend!

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the unbeatable location of this home. Being directly on the lake, the views are nothing short of magical. Waking up in the morning and looking out over the water from the bedroom felt like something out of a dream — peaceful, serene, and impossibly beautiful. The lake was quite literally at our doorstep. The home itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. Every little detail was taken care of, and we felt instantly at ease. A special shoutout to our host, who went above and beyond when we realized last minute that we had forgotten to include our mother-in-law as a guest. It was entirely our oversight, and yet the host was kind, understanding, and incredibly accommodating. That kind of graciousness makes all the difference when you’re traveling. We can’t say enough good things about this place — the comfort, the views, the hospitality. If you’re lucky enough to find availability here, book it. Can’t wait to return

The house has a fantastic location between the vineyards of Brissago. The architecture, the interior and the rooms are very beautiful and we liked them very much - we love puristic design. Many details in the house and around it make the house very special. When you sit on the terrace in the evening, grill, the crickets chirp and you look at the lake with a glass of wine - then this atmosphere is something unique - which you cannot buy. Eva - the house fairy - is super friendly and helpful and gave us many tips. Mille Grazie for the lovely stay at Casa Largo. We will be happy to come back!

A real favorite for this house perched on the heights with stunning views of the major lake, all in a peaceful and privileged setting. We were delighted with our stay, everything is there: comfort, space, view, amenities, everything you need is there. We didn't see our host but we could easily communicate with him. We'll be happy to come back to this little haven of peace.

Incredible views. Highly recommend renting a scooter to make commute up and down the hill much easier. 10/10 would stay here again.

The apartment is located in Aldesago, very close to the Lugano city and with breathtaking view on the lake - the area is really well commuted (bus no. 12 or funicular). Inside you have everything you need - nicely equipped kitchen, superclean bathroom and very comfortable beds! The view from terrace is truly stunning! It was also so nice to be able using swimming pool belonging to the facility! Although we’ve been already in Lugano few times before, I think, this staying was the best one ;) P.S. the owners are angels 😇

We were very warmly welcomed by Silvia. Check-in went very smoothly. We felt very comfortable in the apartment and enjoyed spending time there. Silvia gave us great tips for the area. The absolute highlight is the balcony and the pool. We will be happy to come back!

I recommend this apartment loft! It has beautiful views of Lake Como from the small village of Perledo which is in the mountains above Varenna. The apartment was very clean and spacious for 2 people with lots of amenities. We used the spa and heated pool which was nice. Signing up for a time slot wasn’t a problem as there was lots of availability. I recommend renting a car to drive around unless you wait for the bus and ferry schedules. There isn’t anything within walking distance so have a means of transportation to get to Varenna (10 minutes down the mountain). We had the best time and Andrea was very helpful and informative. If we had any questions we got a quick response. 10/10 recommend!!

Super charming home with absolutely stunning views of Lake Como better seen in person. The amenities were wonderful and the hosts were so very friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend staying here! Also, be sure to book any transportation ahead of time.

Alessandra was absolutely amazing, not only while we were there, but leading up to our stay. It felt like we made a friend in Italy. She was friendly, communicative, and helpful! The airline lost our bags and she kept checking in to see if we had an update. She truly went above and beyond! The Airbnb was so clean and welcoming! Right across the street from Lake Como! Beautiful area! Would recommend to anyone!

beautiful location. i prefer varnessa to belagio. flat is just the right size for a couple. if there's anything I want to mention is that it's in a much higher location than I expected. one would definitely need a car for more frequent visit to the town below. the host is so friendly and always available and responsive.

4 nights didn’t feel enough and we left with such a heavy heart. Laura’s place is breathtaking and pictures don’t do it any justice. We were so sad to leave the tranquil and peaceful villa. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this and look forward to going back.

Kathrin and Thomas were very flexible and accommodating at check-in. The house is very easy to find. The apartment corresponded exactly to the description. It is very clean and spacious. In addition, it has enough storage space to accommodate the things you bring with you. We noticed the many small extras such as cell phone charging cable, very well-equipped kitchen for self-catering, bathroom with everything you need, fresh herbs for self-service in the garden, salad as desired, etc. In hot weather, they also shaded the seating area. This service is simply great. Kathrin or Thomas were always available and gave great information. Thank you both for the great week. You are excellent and extremely likeable hosts. We look forward to another time.

We felt very comfortable. When the weather was nice, the view was fantastic and the garden was super nice. Rebecca was always very helpful and responded quickly. Despite bad weather, we had a lovely holiday. We would definitely come back!😊

We were looking for an apartment with 3 bedrooms near Ascona and chose Luca's apartment. As shown in the photos, it has 1 large room with 1 large bed, 1 large room with 2 small beds and 1 small room with 1 small bed. One bathroom is very modern and large, the other smaller but also very good. The only thing that bothered us a little about the smaller bathroom was the glass sliding door, which didn't quite allow the privacy we would have liked in a bathroom. The apartment was very clean and in very good condition. The traffic on the main road, which was rated negatively in other reviews, was not noticed by 2 of us, the third of us did not find it quite ideal. We found the parking option within a 1-minute walking distance to be very pleasant. Communication with Luca and Lea was great, including very quick answers to questions. We will be happy to come back!

2nd year in this apartment and everything went well. The apartment matches the photos, tidy and very clean. The neighborhood is quiet and close to shops/restaurants/river beach. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Carmen's place. The room was great and had everything you needed - even tips for hiking and eating. Carmen was quick and super helpful with questions. And because that wasn't enough, there was an idyllic pool and plenty of help and support with inquiries or special requests. We certainly weren't here for the last time and thank Carmen for her great hospitality!

This property is immersed in nature and promises a glorious view and absolute tranquility. The hilly area is wonderful to explore on steep hiking trails. The rustico was clean and cozy, basic amenities are available. There is no refrigerator, but you can enjoy the luxury of a warm shower. There is light in the house, but I would recommend bringing a lantern for outside. Romina is very friendly and showed us everything, communication was straightforward. I'd love to come back.

We loved staying here, the rustico was renovated with a lot of love. Everything worked perfectly from A to Z and Michelle always responded extremely quickly. The village of Aurigeno is very quiet, the villagers meet in the small osteria after work and you feel very welcome. You can take wonderful excursions into nature and there are various grottos in the area. We were able to relax perfectly.

We had a wonderful time in Andrin's cozy casa. A small, quiet idyll in the middle of nature, surrounded by an ocean of forests – you can only hear the distant rushing of the river and the chirping of winged neighbors. From the small terrace, a picturesque view awaited us. You can indulge for hours in the mystical atmosphere of the wild Onsernonetals, which reveals a new face depending on the time and weather. For the five-minute walk to the accommodation, sturdy shoes are recommended, because you hike a little along the old paved trade route that leads towards Intragna. The house is beautifully decorated and offers everything you need (even a stereo and cool CDs). Overall, a very inspiring and relaxing vacation in a unique valley, away from everything (and yet well supplied thanks to the village shop and bakery) Thank you very much, Andrin.
