The house right on the sea was overwhelmingly beautiful. Very tasteful and cozy. The kitchen is very well equipped from A as Austernbrecher to Z as Zitronenpresse, everything there to cook extensively. Internet super fast ! Sufficient thought was given to sockets and strips to charge electronic devices comfortably. The pellet stove is easy to use and brings a cozy atmosphere when it storms and is cold outside. The surroundings are wonderful for hiking and cycling. Small supermarket in Quinéville. Other good shopping in Quettehou (also great organic shop!) An unforgettable vacation!

There is one *major* problem that you will see the moment you enter the property: you will **never** (ever) want to leave. You may even start thinking through how you can leave your day job and move to Port-en-Bessin. The home itself is amazing. The top of our list after over a dozen Airbnbs in the last few years. It's everything they show online... and SO MUCH MORE! It's like living in a Normandy postcard. The house itself is awesome. Amazing. Spotless. Beautifully decorated and appointed. We LOVED our stay in Sommervieu. The house was simply idyllic, surrounded by flowers and with a nearby (but not too close!) field of friendly cows wandering by. The house itself was very quiet, comfortable, and fully equipped, with everything one would need in the kitchen, loads of books and games, and firewood for a roaring fire. We didn’t use the bikes or outdoor seating because the weather didn’t cooperate, but would love to come back and try them someday. Sophie and François were super attentive, offering local suggestions and also pointers for when we moved on to Paris, suggesting a restaurant in Paris where we later had a delicious lunch! Thank you so much for hosting us, we hope to come back!

From the beginning a warm welcome from Julie, and a warm feeling when entering the house. A beautiful, cozily furnished house, with all amenities. Located in a quiet, green area. Plenty of privacy, large garden where the children could play. The location of the house is convenient, to combine with trips in Normandy. Such as the landing beaches, Honfleur. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, an experience not to forget!!

Great stay! House was just as described and in the perfect location it was very secure with gated access. Nelly is a fantastic host, very quick to respond to messages and greeted us on arrival to show us around. Nice touch to include some DVDs, we had a few evenings watching the classic war films provided. Rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could possibly need to cook any meal! 5 mins walk to the beach/town which has a safe atmosphere, great bakery for morning croissants Clair de Lune (5 Bd Gilbert Longuet) and very friendly pub The Mary Celeste (5 Rue Colonel René Michel) for an evening drink. Ideal location to visit the Normandy D-Day beaches and museum due to it central location on Gold Beach all others are less than an hour’s drive (Juno Beach 20 mins, Omaha 30mins, Sword Beach 40 mins, Utah 50 mins) and the lovely town of Bayeux only 15 mins away, where there is a large supermarket and the famous tapestry.

We had a superb stay thank you. Everything was wonderful. This was our second year and we hope to come again next year.

Romain Et Céline's AirBnb was a lovely little retreat in Caen. You can reach it from the train station with a 30 minute walk or you can take the tram which gets you there in about 10-15 minutes. The location is in the center of the city. It is a five minute walk to several restaurants for dinner and you are never further than 20-25 minutes walk from most of the popular tourist sites. The listing itself had all the promised amenities. There was not much sound at night so we all slept well. Three of us comfortably used the space. The internet was also able to handle all of us using it at the same time. The shower also had good water pressure and hot water. The check-in instructions were easy to follow and the check-out instructions were quite reasonable. Romain messaged to ask how our stay was going was quick to respond whenever I had questions. I had a wonderful time and would be happy to rent this AirBnb again.

The accommodation was very well located, in the heart of Honfleur and close to restaurants and shops! Also great in hot weather because the apartment keeps cool very well :) Bonus for the private garden which was very nice!

It's a delightful little paradise! The apartment is snug and cozy, the garden beautiful and peaceful. I had a lot of fun during the short (or sometimes longer) chats with Guy. It's clear that he is passionate about the region and has a lot to tell about it. I had a little less contact with Jocelyn, but she is very friendly as well. To be honest, I felt a bit like staying at my grandparents, which was a nice feeling. The location is perfect. A lovely hiking trail passes right in front of the door. All the 'big sights' of Normandy are in reach within a day-trip. All in all I enjoyed my time there a lot and I definitely hope to come back another time.

Hi, We wanted to thank you for the stay. The place was very clean, well decorated, quiet and soothing. We also really appreciated Magda's responsiveness and kindness. Finally, if I had to mention a small detail to improve, it would be the possibility of having Netflix or another streaming service, which would have been a little more pleasant. But overall, we had a lovely stay in a very nice apartment, well furnished and located in a quiet area. Thank you again!

Great place to stay. Very good location, very walkable with lots of restaurants and things to do right around the corner. The apartment was very nice and VERY high value. Well worth the low price we paid. Marie was an excellent host, very accommodating and friendly. I would stay here again if I came through the area!

We stayed for a weekend with friends (12 people) at Villa Boubou where Philippe welcomed us warmly and we had a great time. Passionate about American vehicles, we were able to discuss the subject, a good time of sharing. The guardian cat of the😉😄 premises is adorable and did not fail to welcome us and spend time with us. Top Amenities. Villa Boubou is a good alternative and well located for visiting museums and landing beaches. A little extra, a bakery located 50 meters away and a supermarket with its drive and gas 500 meters away. We highly recommend Villa Boubou and its hosts Karine & Plilippe. Laurence and Christophe

The house offered by Jules was incredible with a magnificent view a few kilometers from the beach… everything was perfect until the story of the place and surroundings that his dad tells so well.

The cottage was everything advertised and more. Beds were very comfortable; literature was provided for local attractions, groceries restaurants; emergency contacts, etc. Loved the horses on their breeding farm, and the serene rural setting - just the perfect distance from everything we came to see. Our gracious host, Venessa, was bilingual and spoke English, which made communicating with her much easier. The kitchen as well as the entire cottage was beautifully furnished with everything we needed. She had even provided games, and other children items -which we didn’t need - but we appreciated seeing the details given to the needs of visiting families. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to enjoy the pool or hot tub, but would have enjoyed spending time at both amenities, given more time for our trip. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone desiring to travel to the Normandy area of France.

We had a wonderful week in this property just outside of the town of Deauville. The house is located in a quiet suburban area with a Carrefour just a couple of minutes walk down the street which was very convenient. The large walled garden was great for the kids and the table tennis table, sun loungers, outdoor eating area, and table football all proved popular! The house itself is absolutely stunning - a beautiful traditional style timber framed building. The interior has a lot of exposed wood beams and very high quality furnishings. Everything that we needed was provided and we were very comfortable during our stay. The local town of Deauville has plenty going on including shops, bars, and restaurants. It's a pretty place with a harbour and some canals - lovely to be by the water. Between the house and Deauville is a wide sandy beach with stunning views along the coastline from Villers sur Mer to La Havre. Well worth a visit!

An absolute gem located less than a 2 minute walk from the historic Omaha beach. A perfect blend of modern home with traditional beach house great for large families. The hosts are incredibly nice and wonderfully easy to work with. A shining recommendation for anyone considering staying here!
