I was there with friends just to take a break from school. Our expectations were definitely met. It was nice and quiet and you could walk around the whole "island" once, but also through the village with the small alleys. Check-in and check-out also worked very well and went quickly. In addition, the kitchen had everything you could ever need. That was very convenient for us. We are very please with our stay. It was really great.

We had a lovely stay! it was perfect for reading a book, do some cooking, catch up on sleep and enjoy the nature and the rocking of the boat. We did a nice 6km run as well. There are 4 boats next to each other docked to a camping van area. The King Fisher is the most outside one. There were no campervans at that time. There is a nice sauna which you can rent tho! The only thing that was a tiny tiny tiny bit disappointing, was the fact that the bedroom is not overlooking the water view but the neighbouring boat. Supermarket is a 10 minute drive by car. We didn't find restaurants on walking distance except for the campside/harbour next to it. A bike would be handy if you stay longer then 2 days. The free parking availability on the premises is definitely a plus as well. Nice place to regain back your energy!

What a wonderful place in the middle of downtown Kampen! The accommodation was clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. The host was super friendly and gave nice tips on fun spots in town. Everything is within walking distance: shops, restaurants and the IJssel. Highly recommended – we would come back again!

This is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful and calm surroundings, the house has everything you can wish for. From a fully equipped kitchen, to good beds and a fireplace. The house is easily located and is nearby places worthwhile to visit, like forests, wildlife observability and the Royal Palace. We can definitely recommend a stay here.
