Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Vathy

It was our first visit to the island and we explored a lot! We are so happy we chose this home. It was exactly as described. The views were wonderful. We enjoyed the patio each morning and night. It was very peaceful. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable in our travels between 3 rentals, We were fortunate that grapefruit and lemons were in season. What a treat those gifts were. I prepared dinner on our last night and all I needed was available and clean! The home was co clean. It was such a please to speak often with this couple. I’ll de dreaming of our stay.

As a family of four, we loved our stay in this beautiful house. As soon as walked in we felt right at home. The verandah area is lovely, the beds are comfortable, the decor is tasteful and beautiful and the house is so welcoming we didn’t want to leave. Everything worked perfectly and was in excellent condition. It has everything anyone could possibly need in a very convenient location. One of our favourites!

The house was super,the hostess even more!It is in a very nice location outside the village but at the same time close to downtown and the harbour.. There is a nice yard with a kindergarten,fruit trees and very kind pet animals.!The car was literally next to our door.. thank you Panayota for a wonderful break!We will come back to you again!

We had the most wonderful stay with our two children. The house is perfect with so many amenities. All the appliances are high quality and basically brand new! We had everything we needed and more. The pool and bbq area is fantastic. The views beautiful. Location is private but easy to get to other locations. We loved visiting Sami and the Melissani Cave’s not to be missed. The host went above and beyond, always responsive and kind. We highly recommend the house and have already told family and friends about it!

Staying in the villa feels like staying at home: it’s cozy, well equipped, decorated with love and Angie and her family are all incredibly nice. A huge bonus- they can prepare food for you which is with home grown vegetables and tastes amazing. We had no issues with the check in or when leaving and I feel we were very lucky to have found this place. If you want peace and quiet, a gorgeous view and the privacy of a whole house, this is your place. 🧡

I have stayed in many houses and met many hosts. But I can confidently say that Petros and Maria are best hosts I have ever met! Continuously trying to help their guests, all requests and questions are responded with a big smile, understanding, empathy and compassion. The moment we stepped inside the house they made us feel like we are part of their family. The house is based inside an olive tree farm and the land is shared with 3 more houses. There are lovely animals around, dogs and cats… We just loved it! Every time you come home you’ll have Malou (the cutest dog I’ve ever seen) cheering your arrival! The internet in the island is a bit slow but there is nothing that can be done. Petros even brought another router to help us! It is related with the island. I miss the farm already!

We had a very nice stay in this village. Its quite central on the island, so you can reach every place quite fast by car. Its very spacious and has everything you need for a vacation in Kefalonia.

The island of Cephalonia is worth the trip. Our stay at Lambros made the vacation a perfect travel experience. The actual and brilliant hostess on site is Maria, the mother of Lambros. She lives next door and receives and accompanies the guests with great warmth throughout the entire period of the stay. She spoiled us with cake and jam and provided us with fresh laundry and helpful tips. The kitchen is very well equipped and the large terrace overlooking the sea is the heart of the accommodation. On the upper floor are two small bedrooms with not quite as comfortable spring mattresses. The house is easily accessible by (rental) car and the village of Farsa, conveniently located not far from Argostoli, is a good starting point for excursions. In summary, a highly recommended place to stay that is worth visiting again. We really found it hard to say goodbye. Thanks Maria for your warmth❤️!

Beautiful Villa! A group of us stayed here with 2 small children. The cleaner came twice during our 10 days, the fridge was stocked with some things when we arrived, beds made, everything clean & tidy. It was a lovely stay! Definitely need a car though, there is 2 restaurants within a 10 minutes walk, however one was always shut when we went to go. We ended up driving into the town every evening for dinner :)

Alexandra and the team are wonderful, responsive and friendly. the space and the pool is clean and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything we needed. the wifi was fast and the beds were so comfortable. well worth the price. karavamylos is a beautiful little town. can't recommend enough!

The hosts were so lovely and helpful. They very kindly gave us a welcome hamper of food for our first morning and gave us early check-in and late check-out. They even gave us a hamper with nappies and some supplies for the baby which was so kind and thoughtful. The villa is beautiful, clean and is even nicer than the photos can show. We hired a car as there isn't a huge amount in the immediate area but it's so peaceful and it's really easy to get taxi's if you don't have a car. We will definitely book again on our next visit to Kefalonia. Thank you again x

We really enjoyed our stay at the bungalow, it was in a good location within walking distance of a supermarket and restaurants at Porto harbour. The house had everything we needed and the pool was a great addition as it was very hot! We hired a boat from George which was a fabulous day. We would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

Lovely villa with super patio space, and nice to be so close to a few restaurants in the village. We had a great time.

In particular, the quick response from Barbara and her husband to requests was great . We recommend a 4x4 4x4 for the S ride. 👍

Wow! This villa is beautiful and perfect for our family of 8. Ben and Claire couldn't help us enough and responded to us quickly if needed. We were lucky enough to stay for 10 days, half of which were spent chilling at the villa, playing in the pool and using the amazing facilities . Although a rental car is helpful getting around the island, there is a lot of lovely restaurants, bars and beaches a short drive away. We explored around the island, including Fiskardo and Antisamos, which are breathtaking. Thank you for having us, we'd be back in1 a heart beat!

The location is wonderful, from the garden you can see the bay of Lourdas, with beautiful sunsets! Strategic location also for travel, Argostoli is about 20 minutes away, with large supermarkets and shops, a little further north of the island but it was not a problem for us. Spacious and comfortable parking. The rooms are exactly as shown in the photos, they are cleaned every day, and towels and sheets are changed once a week. There is a washing machine in the house that is super convenient. Evangelia and Nathalie are super nice, always available for any information! Bonus point for the three-legged dog that always greeted us.

Great place by the sea!

Great pleasure to stay with Kathryn and John, the house is very nice, it's a little paradise. We'll definitely be back.

Maria welcomed me to the apartment. The apartment was spacious and had amazing views. Very comfortable. 5 minutes to the harbour.

We stayed at Lydia’s for a week and loved it! We felt right at home, she greeted us very friendly. The apartment was small, but very clean and nice, we especially loved the beautiful terrace with views of the sea. We tried several of Lydia’s recommendations for food or activities and enjoyed them all. The location was also amazing for us, only a minute away from small beaches and the promenade with lots of great restaurants. Also: Only 10 mins by car to the famous Myrtos beach. We had great holidays!

We had a great stay with Penelope in beautiful Vathy. A short 10 min walk from the town centre and there is a restaurant directly across the street which is open early and late. Great views of the water from the outdoor eating area which is where you'll want to eat your meals. The front bedroom can be a little noisier at night as it is closest to the road, so the lighter sleepers should take one of the other rooms. WiFi did not work initially however Penelope was quick to get us a replacement device.

A magical home in a wonderful location. My first trip to both this home and island. Will definitely be back. Also, Klara is an amazing artist with a phenomenal body of work. A must see.

Great stay at Polychronis' little apartment. Perfect for a family of 4. Very well placed to access Vathy on foot, with a coffee that serves to eat all day at the foot of the accommodation. Perfect!

We had great short stay of four nights. Vicky was waiting for us at the bottom of the stairs to find us. Is a bit of a climb so take it easy in the afternoon, but for that you get an amazing view and one of the quietest areas in Vathi while still only being a couple minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. House has been renovated excellently, nice large airy bedroom, useful kitchenette and a bathroom with a great shower. Lovely outside sitting area too.
