Family-friendly vacation rentals in Västra Götaland County

We spent 10 days with Fredrik in Mullsjö and we enjoyed it very much. Exactly what we were looking for. The cottage had everything it needed and a beautiful location with a great playground for the kids. Great sauna with a large whirlpool bath that we used a lot. The house was just the right size for our family of 5. The surrounding area invites you to stroll around the lake and is very quiet. We also had a boat available where we could go on the lake. Only the entry into the lake was a bit unpleasant because it has a lot of reeds and it was not so easy to get into the water. We highly recommend Fredrik's place. The contact with Fredrik was always very friendly.

We stayed in Bram's house for 1 week and felt very comfortable! The location is perfect for relaxing and as a starting point for excursions! For the 2 of us, the house was actually too big, you could easily stay there with 4-6 people. We liked the view, the tranquility, the hot tub and the table tennis table best. The nearest supermarket is 7 minutes by car, and there is EVERYTHING there! If you drive into the housing estate, you are greeted by the "neighbors" in a friendly way when passing by 😁despite foreign car license plates!! We thought that was great and of course we waved back friendly👋 Bram and Anneli were totally nice hosts and responded promptly when we wrote. We give 5 out of 5 stars because it is a mega accommodation in a fantastic spot!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We visited Gothenburg to see our daughter at university. The location is perfect for both seeing our daughter and accessing the city and all it’s attractions. The apartment was perfect, very comfortable, very clean and had absolutely everything we needed and more. An amazing place with a very friendly and helpful host. Great city to visit with fantastic transport network, so simple and easy. Plenty to see from a perfect location. G & J

the cottage, the location and Helen and Morgan were all great. We loved our time in the house and at Helen and Morgan's place. For us, this is a perfect location. Our son loved the farmyard to play and walk around. Staying here is perfect. The hosts are very friendly and cheerful. They are happy to talk to you and are very helpful. The nature here is beautiful and you can also be quickly in beautiful places from here, such as the coast, Varberg, Gekås or Gotenburg. We'll be back 100%.

Emmas place is perfect if you want to have a cozy time in nature. She is an amazing host and our highlight was the little, private wooden sauna on the lake side. I‘d always go back there. :)

We enjoyed our stay incredibly! The accommodation was perfect for the whole group, with something for all ages, from children to adults. The house was well-equipped and comfortable, and the location was fantastic with a beautiful water view directly from the house. A quiet and scenic place that we are happy to return to!

My husband and I had a great time at Sandbacken and we loved meeting Bernhard and Wioleta! They are very kind and welcoming. We went on the Moose Safari with Bernhard and we spotted multiple moose, deer, foxes and even an red deer. We were so lucky!

We, two families with five children, had an unforgettable time with Annika and Jonas. The house was large and superbly equipped. Annika welcomed us right after arrival and gave us some tips for the area. The fantastic beach, hot tub and sauna on the sea are a great luxury after a long day of excursions. We highly recommend this place and hope we can come back soon.

When you enter the cottage, you feel right at home. It is so lovingly, cozy and thoughtful; has everything you need, even a small private terrace overlooking the forest and the chickens. Simply great. Walks through the forest and to the lake can be started from the property. Ann and Johnny are just as great. Super friendly, helpful and communicative. It couldn't be better. Thank you for the wonderful time in your cabin and the nice conversations. Oh, there's also a funny Labrador and 2 cats. 😊

Very nice hosts who always responded quickly and accurately. The cabin has a beautiful location overlooking the water and a cozy patio. Compact, but with smart solutions and everything we needed. Good standard, very well equipped kitchen and clean and nice.

what a wonderful place, a house where you immediately feel at home and where we fell in love with storage. It was perfect, beautiful views and a lovely bed There was a breakfast ready with homemade jam delicious....if we are in the area again we will definitely come by again... An amazing location next to a small harbor on the most peaceful part of a charming island.

Cozy cabin out in the country side. The cabin had every thing you need for a short get away. It was clean and neat. The surroundings ware very peaceful and beautiful. We will most likely book the cabin again.

Katarina’s place was great! We used it as a home base to visit the eco park to the south and it was easy to go to a from. We were there a bit outside of typical summer dates so the surrounding areas were essentially shut down, but we were able to find what we needed. Also would highly recommend Restaurang Hörnet in Vadstena, it was incredibly good!

We had a super cozy stay with our two kids and our dog Lulu! Cozy cottage, well-cleaned, clean sheets and perfect if you want a quiet and peaceful vacation.

Lovely gem in the middle of the forest! The place, with great garden, beautiful surroundings and itself being charming vintage house is something special. Especially that it is completed with sophisticated taste and its really a pleasure to enjoy it. On top of that hosts are extremely friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended to be there and also good base to visit near Store Moose National Park.

An absolutely perfect stay over Midsommar in Sweden! I would highly recommend this place! Upon arrival, we were very pleasantly surprised, and everything was the same (if not better!) as in the description. The house was sparkling clean, lovingly decorated and equipped with everything you need – from coffee to towels to small extras that made the stay special. The location was simply fantastic: quiet, relaxing and just steps from the beach – ideal for those seeking relaxation and nature. I was particularly impressed by the hospitality and helpfulness on the part of Lotti – the communication was quick, friendly and totally uncomplicated. You immediately felt welcome and completely comfortable. I would come back anytime and recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

We are a family of four with two teenage boys. This was the third year in a row we spent a long weekend at Johan and Reina’s place. It is a spacious, well equipped house without being generic or over-done as so many AirBnbs tend to be. It is just authentic, lovable and personal - as are its host who are experienced, generous hosts in the best meaning of the word. We would definitely recommend the house to anyone who wants to experience Swedish skjärgård, its quiet and idyllic nature.

Super nice accommodation in central Gothenburg! The host was super nice and made us feel at home! The house is within walking distance to the city with a nice walk. Nice restaurants nearby with good variety, we got great tips from the host both for the restaurants/bars that were nearby but also inside the city. As well as directions and tips for getting to Ullevi and the concert in the best way. + with parking on the premises! 10/10, we will be back!

Great place! Amazing views, quiet surroundings, delicious and cozy to be able to light up both the wilderness bath and the sauna. And cozy with a little tour on the lake at sunset. A fantastic little gem, I highly recommend!
