The house was very sweet and perfect for a short break for a family. Fengersfors is a pleasant little village, and we really enjoyed using the sauna by the lake which Gaby helped the fix. There's clearly more going on in the village in the summer but there's still plenty of nice walks to do in the area. Gaby was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Top marks!

It is a wonderful house. We loved it, and it exceeded our expectations. My favorite place was the rooftop terrace, especially in the early morning when the sun came up and the fog was rising from the lake.

We spent wonderful days at Helena's place. Everything was very clean and well maintained, we felt totally comfortable. We had rented the motorboat with which we explored the lake and always spent the day in other great places on the lake. The area is absolutely quiet and if you want to see moose in nature, it's the place. A small drive at dusk and you almost have to see the guarantee moose. Helena is a great host and was always quick to respond to questions.

We spent a wonderful weekend at this beautiful house and have only positive things to say. Steeped in history, the house exudes a deep connection to the area and its local industries. Edita and Per-Erik have done a fantastic job blending old-world aristocratic charm with modern, stylish touches. Set on the banks of the Klarälven River, the scenery is truly breathtaking. The old NKIJ railway bridge adds to the view, spanning the river like a graceful rainbow of steel. For anyone interested in economic history, this place is a hidden gem! Edita and Per-Erik are exceptional hosts — communication was clear and prompt from start to finish. Great amenities and family friendly activities also added to the superb experiences. We will definitely return in the future!

A beautiful spot on earth - and down to the wooden trucks on the nearby federal highway, we have seen practically hardly any cars in 5 days. It's just secluded and private. We would recommend to shop for the start and then just enjoy. There is a perfectly equipped kitchen with all the spices and a ball grill. We swim in the lake every morning and also in the sauna, the crowning glory on the last evening. The only small challenge: there is only one bathtub and my almost 2m tall man had to shower while sitting so that not the entire bathroom is flooded. 😊 We were canoeing and in the moose park, also we hiked. We would definitely come back!

We were allowed to spend our first Christmas and New Year's Eve in Sweden at Johann's and felt very comfortable. We were there with four adults, 2 kids and a dog. The house was large enough for that. Johan decorated the house for Christmas especially for us. Everything was ready when we arrived. You could feel right at home. He was always available for questions and small problems and when the coffee maker was defective, he quickly brought us a new one. The area is beautiful and you have many opportunities to do something even in winter, whether it's exploring small villages in the area or hiking in national parks.

We stayed for 3 nights in the small house on the island and we had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay. The house is really well furnished, clean and offers a magnificent view of the lake. We were the only guests during this time and therefore had the island to ourselves. Anders already instructed us superbly in advance and always answered questions very quickly. We had a rowing boat for the crossing. Although my partner rowed very well, the crossing after a trip to the campsite was very challenging due to strong winds. We therefore recommend renting the motorbike from Anders. He also offers this. We would have loved to have stayed longer, but we had to move on. We wish all guests the same relaxation that we were able to enjoy in Anders Haus and gladly recommend the house and the Superhost! Fränzi & David from Switzerland

Staffan's house is in a lovely location just a short walk from the lake, which can be easily accessed. The three cottages are very comfortable and characteristic. The outdoor spaces are very well organized and with all the amenities to fully enjoy the outdoors. A highly recommended accommodation for people who love nature!!!

We had an unforgettable holiday in the lonely house right on the water. There remained nothing to be desired in the house itself. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to travel there again at some point.

The privacy you get in this place with amazing view right on the edge of a spacious terrace is just amazing The location allows an amerce experience in the natural surroundings Picked some nice yellow chanterelle in a the marked tracks in the forest were its easy for the kids to join. And the nice canoes that you can borrow to explore the lakes close by, was a perfect addition to the activities you can do there The place inside have all you need for a comfortable stay , we were three families and everyone had a lovely time, and was able to cook together with ease as the kitchen is well equipped and spacious

Our family had a wonderful time at this magnificent home. This is a special property, cared for with such loving detail by the owners. It has everything you need for a perfect lakeside holiday in the beautiful Swedish countryside. The views of the lake and sunset painted sky are surreal and peaceful. There are many things for guests to use, boats, kayaks, bikes, and games, stocked kitchen and BBQ! Tor has even created a walking path through the forest for guests to easily navigate right in their own backyard! The house is full of great spaces, many bedrooms/bathrooms plus common areas for relaxing in the surroundings of a majestic, pristine historical home. We feel very fortunate that they open their home to guests, it truly is a treasure. As host, Ellen was so accommodating and gracious and her attention to detail and availability to make her guests feel welcome and relaxed was evident and appreciated by us. We highly recommend this unique house by the lake and hope to return again!

This was the best place we have ever stayed in. Lovely and authentic house, good beds, the garden elevates the overall experience, the lake is breathtaking. We made some nice walks, no tics or mosquitoes (end of May). We swam in the lake (still quite cold). We hope to come back very soon!

The time we spent in this place was wonderful. On the first day, we met Jenny, who told us what to expect in the area. We encountered a moose and organized a quick walk to the lake. A very pleasant detail was the small treats left by the owner. The following days were filled with family trips around the area, boating, campfires, and visits to the nearby town. Over these few days, we managed to relax, and we left the area with reluctance.

We had an unforgettable time in this little house by the lake! The location is fantastic: right on the water, surrounded by nature and complete tranquility. Wandering over the quiet lake in the morning was simply magical. The house is cozy, very clean and furnished with love. Everything you need is there – from the well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds. The evenings on the terrace overlooking the sunset were particularly beautiful. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and always available. We felt completely comfortable and welcome. If you are looking for nature, peace and Swedish idyll, this is the place to be. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend this cottage. Tack så mycket for this wonderful time!

It's the perfect place for people who like a little off-grid, romantic nature oriented getaway. The cabin is located in a very lovely and gorgeously designed eco village at a small lake. Definitely recommended!

Annika and Per are the perfect hosts!! We really lacked nothing! A great house with a "hot tub", the great lake (which looks like the Baltic Sea), the beautiful nature, and and and... Thank you!!

I really enjoyed my stay with Erik. The place and everything was as described or in the photos. I especially enjoyed the view of the lake from the terrace. In the evening with a cozy conversation at the fireplace, Erik showed me the many mushrooms he collected in the afternoon. Was very interesting. I didn't know many of them. If you forgot to shop yourself, you don't seem to have to starve here. He also offers homemade bread and yogurt, homemade meat, and homemade vegetables. If he no longer has a smoked herring in stock, you can also pull it ashore yourself. Because even the fishing rod and the boat are available to the guests. So even in autumnal weather you can do a lot here. I really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Thank you Erik!👌🏻

It is a dreamy and wonderful place, the house and the area invite you to unwind. Solvi and Björnar are excellent hosts, they have furnished the house with a lot of love for detail. There is nothing lacking, the kitchen is perfectly equipped, we immediately felt at home. With loving notes distributed throughout the house, no questions remain unanswered. We had two wonderful weeks at Susanne's house in the Glaskogen Nature Reserve. Wonderful hiking trails and lakes very close. The house offers plenty of opportunities to make yourself nice and cozy both inside and in the beautiful garden. We enjoyed the tranquility there very much and our dog immediately fell in love with the large garden. Everything was as described by Susanne in the listing. We were personally and warmly welcomed by Susanne and immediately felt comfortable. We say "thank you" for the wonderful time! A really highly recommended place!
