Picturesque, Historic Villa with Island Views

Gaze over stunning 180-degree views of islands on Lago Maggiore from the expansive, floor-to-ceiling windows of this lovely, 230-year-old rustic stone villa. Antique furnishings perfectly complement the historic architecture. The house is on 3 floors so a fair bit of walking up and down stairs is required. The main bedroom is on the upper floor and the 2nd bedroom (two single beds) and bathroom on the lowest floor. Ideal for couples and families but not for the elderly or groups of 4 adults.

Here in the Saas Valley, adults must pay CHF 10.5 and children between the ages of 6 and 16 must pay CHF 5.25 in summer. At this price, all buses in the valley and practically all mountain railways can be used free of charge. In winter, the tourist tax costs 7 Fr. for adults and children pay 3.75 Fr. In the bedroom there is another wood-burning stove with a view of the burning flames.
