Skipperhuset

🏡 Skipperhuset is the oldest house on our family farm Birkenes located in Farsund municipality. The Skipper House was built in the 19th century and has been rehabilitated several times, most recently in the spring of 2021. In collaboration with a local painting company, we are working to make the house as authentic as possible, including wallpapering the living room, kitchen and hallway with skipper house wallpaper and linseed oil paint to preserve wood, etc. The Skipperhuset has a natural place on the farm and is located wall to wall with the brewery house which has a renovated baker's oven.

Nice patio and views inside/outside of the sea to the west. Nature is right outside, just 200 m to the Lista coastal trail and the sea. Walking distance to great beaches (Bausje/Bispen), playgrounds and restaurant/pub. 2 km to a local store and food stands in the harbor at Borhaug. 3 km to Lista Lighthouse. If you bring a fishing rod or a surfboard, there are great opportunities nearby.

Cozy old house located on the country side close to scenic water (Hanangervannet), known for its rich bird life and nice bathing. Large garden with scenic view. Simple standard, but cozy furnishings. The house has 4 separate bedrooms, where 3 are located on the second floor. Approx 7 minutes walk to bathing water which is very nice for smaller kids, shallow water and warmer than the sea. Approx 22 minutes walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lista, which offers miles and miles of sand.

The apartment is located with panoramic views of the park where children and adults enjoy themselves all day, shops and cafes are about 100 m away on Brooklyn Square. Lista has beautiful, varied nature, a Norway in miniature. Here are great beaches, great for cycling. Our American recent history is also unique, great American Festival that takes place "Last weekend in June" every year
