The Cabin - Jonskørstølen

This is an old and uniq cabin that was build in 1900. For several years it was used in the summer by milkmaids that had their animals up there. A cabin with soul! Without electricity the cabin is simple- you will get a resting heartrate pretty fast. The cabin is 1100m above sea level and have an untouched and spectacular nature around with several fishingwaters. Since the area is private there are no marked trails around but the possibilities for hiking is endless. Welcome to the mountains!

Visit us in the mountains, at almost 1100 meters above sea level, and find peace.. Enjoy stunning views, hike (skiing or snowshoeing in winter) and finish with a delicious bath in Tyin. In winter, for the most adventurous, there is also the possibility of ice bathing(only possible in special seasons)! Afterwards, you can relax in the sauna (extra cost). Arctic Dome Valdres is located near by Jotunheimen in Vang in Valdres - 1150 above sea level. A unique place to stay where a little luxury and comfort meets with the nature close by. Here you can recharge your batteries all for yourself, with friends or family. The cabin is 500m from the E16. It has swimming opportunities, good fishing, and rowing boat available. There is a solar cell and fridge and otherwise good solutions for water and toilet. There is no shower, so the body wash must be taken in Vangsmjøsa. On quiet evenings, the fire pit offers views of Vangsmjøsa and Grindane.
