Vacation rentals with a kayak in Vänern

The house was very sweet and perfect for a short break for a family. Fengersfors is a pleasant little village, and we really enjoyed using the sauna by the lake which Gaby helped the fix. There's clearly more going on in the village in the summer but there's still plenty of nice walks to do in the area. Gaby was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our stay. Top marks!

We had a lovely time in this great house. It was very cozy and quiet. The view of the lake is simply fantastic. Lotta was always available to us. An all-round beautiful vacation. We highly recommend the house and the hostess.

This place is truly magical—peaceful, with an amazing lake view. If it had been warmer, we’d have taken the boat out. The house is spacious, in a private, quiet, and idyllic setting. The kitchen is fully equipped, the floor heating is cozy in winter, and the fireplace adds a wonderful touch. We were welcomed with a bottle of delicious wine and a lit fireplace. Overall, an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a quiet escape in nature.

We've very much enjoyed our stay with Lena & Harald. The cabin was clean, cozy and well equipped for our stay. We were suprised with fresh flowers and eggs from from Lena's hens, which made us feel right at home. Nice and calm surroundings. The spaceous terrace with view over the lake was a highlight. Lena and Harald were very welcoming and hospitable and always responded quickly to our messages. We'd love to come back!

The house and surroundings were even more lovely than we’d imagined. The house had so many beautiful touches, Ken and Emilie have taken such care to make it a home from home. We had everything we needed and more. The bed was so comfortable, I can’t remember sleeping so well for years! The lake felt like it was just for us, so nice to swim, canoe and row around. We even had a young moose come in to the lake one day! Plus many other moose sightings nearby - and a sweet resident hare. The area was beautiful for walking, the hamlet of Nasbo was a particularly pretty place to walk to. Tresticklan national park was less than an hour’s drive away for fantastic hiking. Completely perfect stay! The house is new, clean, with modern amenities and everything you need. Beautiful and quiet nature – especially at sunrise. We were 6 young men and had a fantastic week. The host was sweet and helpful – we mentioned sauna oils, and although they didn't have any, they brought it within 2 hours. We accidentally started the fire alarm, and both the alarm center and the host responded quickly and kindly. Safety is top notch. We went to relax and fish – and couldn't have found a better place. Incredible how much you get for the price. 10/10 – highly recommended!

We were two friendly families with children of different ages in this dream house for a total of nine days and would book it again at any time. Everything was just right here and the pictures are very realistic, but they do not reflect the beauty of the surroundings, the furnishings and especially the view. You can't really do great things, but that's not necessary. Shopping facilities are very quickly accessible and you can take good care of yourself. The self-caught fish in the lake (but it was then also only one... unfortunately😄) was perfect for the barbecue evening. The contact in advance ...but also Hanna's efforts during the stay were outstanding. She was always available and did everything imaginable to help, even remotely. We had such nice and relaxing days ...whether small or large. Everyone had fun, peace and quiet.

Gustaf is a fantastic host – responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. The accommodation was exactly as described. If we ever need a place to stay in the area again, he will definitely be our first choice

Cozy and beautiful place! Cute cottage that had everything we needed. Extra nice with your own dock that we swam from both in the evening and in the morning. We'd love to come back here.

We stayed for 3 nights in the small house on the island and we had a wonderful, quiet and relaxing stay. The house is really well furnished, clean and offers a magnificent view of the lake. We were the only guests during this time and therefore had the island to ourselves. Anders already instructed us superbly in advance and always answered questions very quickly. We had a rowing boat for the crossing. Although my partner rowed very well, the crossing after a trip to the campsite was very challenging due to strong winds. We therefore recommend renting the motorbike from Anders. He also offers this. We would have loved to have stayed longer, but we had to move on. We wish all guests the same relaxation that we were able to enjoy in Anders Haus and gladly recommend the house and the Superhost! Fränzi & David from Switzerland

Unique location by a beautiful lake, modern really nice cabin that had everything you could want and then some. Clear and easy instructions on everything you need. We are more than happy to return here. Maria as a host responds quickly, is very nice and helpful. Recommenders highly!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful house! We really felt very comfortable here, both in the house and in the magnificent surroundings. We were out on the lake by boat and could even catch fish which was a real highlight. In addition, we made beautiful excursions in the area and slept wonderfully every night. The fresh eggs from the chickens were great, and we really enjoyed spending time with the cats, dog Ronja, the chickens and of course your lovely cows. We particularly liked the loving little things in and around the house, and as a little extra we even found a geocache nearby. Thanks to the warm temperatures, we also dared to go swimming! Above all, we were able to fully relax and now feel wonderfully relaxed. We're already looking forward to coming back. Warm regards, Julia

There are almost no words to describe how nicely the cabin is located. An oasis all to itself. We will definitely be back!

Maria's house is a dream come true! The stay was very special to us, and we felt extremely comfortable from the first moment. The time we spent in this place was wonderful. On the first day, we met Jenny, who told us what to expect in the area. We encountered a moose and organized a quick walk to the lake. A very pleasant detail was the small treats left by the owner. The following days were filled with family trips around the area, boating, campfires, and visits to the nearby town. Over these few days, we managed to relax, and we left the area with reluctance.

This was one our our favorite places we’ve stayed! The atmosphere of the boat house was so cozy and had everything we needed and more. The surroundings were just beautiful - such a treat to spend time on the water. Our little one loved playing on the little beach and going out in the kayak. The location was perfect, very peaceful and also not too far from a day trip to the city. Christina is an excellent host, I would highly recommend her place!

We had a wonderful time at the place! The lake view is really fantastic. We also used the sauna and - if we had stayed longer - would certainly have taken a canoe trip. The location is wonderful: on the one hand, you are surrounded by nature and can enjoy the tranquility, but at the same time you can also quickly reach various excursion destinations in the area, especially in and around Gothenburg. August was very friendly and accommodating. He provided us with a baby bed for our son at short notice. We would have liked to have stayed a little longer!

We spent almost two weeks in Alvasjö with a family of 8. The place is nothing less than magic. A lovely house, renovated just the way it should be, leaving the historic parts and gently adding modern needs. Sara and Ed were really helpful, always there when needed and very easy to contact. Excellent communication. The area is beautiful, went canoeing, rowing, fishing, mountainbiking, SUP, hiking, Sauna ob the lake, mushroom and blueberry picking. It was not „just another holiday“, it was more than what we all dreamed of when it comes to „holiday in Sweden“. Will certainly come back, a must go when you want to experience a comfortable and exciting holiday in the middle of wonderful swedish nature. Many many thanks for everything, Sara and Ed!
