The Bushwhacker cabin is only a short distance to the Marlinton Williams river , 45min to Snowshoe, scenic highway, the Greenbrier,Hot Springs VA, and Lewisburg WV(voted coolest town)

The farm along with our Maple Syrup is certified Organic. From our apple trees to our hay and pastures. We are Organic! If you would like a tour of our farm or maple operation, let us know! By September 2020, there will be a new outdoor living area with a hot tub and dining.

Stay in the masterfully crafted Lemuel Chenoweth homestead along the rippling Tygart river. Built in 1857, this 2nd floor suite offers antiques furnishings, a private entrance, master bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and mud room. It has a queen bed, dresser, large porch with views of the river, a clawfoot tub with shower, sink, toilet, and a well stocked farmhouse kitchenette with a double induction cook top, sink , fridge and more. We do not offer a TV. Near Elkins.

Great location for trout fishing in local streams, hiking and biking at nearby state forest and greenbrier river trail. Easy drive to Snowshoe village for activities, shopping and dinning. 10 miles to Kumbrabow state forest 26 miles to Cass railroad train station 1.5 hr Blackwater falls state park Half hour drive to the city of Elkins.

Sleeps 4: queen bed + sleeper sofa (both with new foam mattresses), and a self-inflating air mattress, just in case. You'll have a full kitchen (with a Keurig and kcups), Roku streaming device, washer/dryer, a wood burning fireplace with FREE FIREWOOD (during ski season), and a balcony that backs up into a wooded area with plenty of deer to greet you. :)
