Vacation rentals with lake access in Valdemarsvik Municipality

We were in Sweden for the first time as a family. We liked the place very much. We were here over New Year's Eve and even had a few wonderful snowy days there. The scenery is wonderful. The place was clean and everything was great, the house has a nice view. We really enjoyed the vacation. It was a very nice holiday and a great place to stay. Thank you very much.

The home was a paradise and we had a wonderful experience with our friends. Our kids also had a lot of fun with the toys and space. Very kids friendly. Perfect if you are looking to disconnect from daily life and find connect with self and family.

Very comfortable accommodation, it has everything you need. Also it was spotlessly clean when we arrived. We highly recommend them. To mention is the incredibly beautiful area in which the house is located. When you walk down to the boat dock, the start of a well-developed hiking trail is on the right side, you can't get out of wonder.

Cozy little apartment near Västervik. Ideal as a starting point for day trips to the archipelago. Top service also during the stay and smooth communication. Glad to come back!

Very little traffic - birds singing - great for kids - large garden and 2 minutes walk to water - free access to boat - house was spacious enough - we were 4 adults and 4 kids - without problems - warm water was always available - not all doors to bedrooms could be closed from inside which was less practical - but good value for money. We visited camping site near by for playing mini golf, fishing and paddle board - also possibility to swim from there - shopping should be planned ahead - but fridge was very large :-)

Idyllic, fully furnished vacation home on the farm of Ake and Kristina. Sunny breakfast area with awning in front of the bedroom. We felt very comfortable and didn't miss anything. However, the WiFi router only produces weak reception. The mobile Wi-Fi receiver provided by Ake was therefore excellent. The swimming lake with private rowboat was worth the somewhat arduous journey by bike. However, we had to borrow a bike with rough, wide tires from Ake: the 3 km long path is initially a pleasant, compact forest floor, then it is covered with almost palm-sized gravel stones, which make a passage with conventional city tires hell. Gliding slowly across the lake in the boat was a unique experience in this setting, crowned by the long-lasting calls of a pair of cranes leading their adolescents through the reeds.

A fantastic nice and cozy accommodation located in a nice place close to the sea, the city center. Close to good trails to explore in the beautiful nature with large differences in altitude and beautiful scenic mountains, including Flaggberget, Lejonberget and Majeldsberget.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say. Josef received us and was so lovely and welcoming. We also got to borrow fishing rods so we could fish a little. The children played and had a great time in the yard. We had a perfect stay and checked out a few hours later without any problems. We will definitely come back! Really recommended 😊🌸

The place is like something straight out of an Astrid Lindgren film, almost too Idyllic to be true. In late June there were hardly and people on the island and everywhere we went on our boat trips and walking tours we were always alone. There was enough to see and do to not get bored once in the eight days we spent there, even though the weather wasnˋt always perfect. The house is quite unique and cosy and with care and attention to detail. The lack of running water and outdoor toilet took a moment to get used too but then didnˋt pose any problem, not even using the toilet at night, since it never got completely dark. We also enjoyed the lack of cars and the blueberries that were abundant. It‘s the perfect place if you want quiet, nature and somewhere unspoiled by tourism. A big thank you to our hosts for the great stay!

Very nice place and wonderful neighborhood. Vera was very helpful and kind. And the house was clean, comfortable and well equipped. There is bicycles. Swimming place was near. Forests with lots of mushrooms. A lot nice paths to walk in nature.

Nice archipelago house with a large terrace with a view of water. Peacefully and quiet. We enjoyed the best on that deck! Extra plus for us who were three families with children in mixed ages: close to the swimming area, three toilets and showers, comfortable beds and several bedrooms, dishwasher and microwave, got sheets and towels in place. The only thing we were missing was a common place, like a living room, where you could sit down all together in, for example, a sofa group. The sofa that was available was for two people and then there was a large table and chairs. Keep in mind for families with children is that the road up to the house is a bit tricky with a stroller, steep and hilly.

We spent wonderful days as a family in the cottage on the lake. The surroundings are picturesque and very quiet, the accommodation is beautiful and well equipped. Our highlight was the fire. We highly recommend vacationing here.

We had a great time at Daniels place. It's an old, clean and cosy cottage with a great great view. We loved sitting outside for breakfast or diner and enjoying the view. You have got everything you need in the cottage. The small rowboat was a nice extra.

Lovely and cozy cottage with a lot of personality. We spent a lot of time at the tiled stove and had access to the sauna nearby. Emelie was flexible and thoughtful, very good communication.
