Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Valaurie

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

Wat een fantastische week hebben we gehad met 14 volwassenen! We waren er met onze familie en het huis bood echt alle ruimte om samen te genieten en je af en toe even terug te trekken. Het is ruim, stijlvol en supercomfortabel, met fijne slaapkamers, genoeg badkamers en gezellige hoekjes om samen te zitten. De buitenkeuken was ons favoriete plekje: koken, eten en borrelen in de avondzon. De omgeving is prachtig. We gingen kanoën, bezochten wijngaarden en grotten, maar eerlijk is eerlijk, het zwembad was zo lekker dat we vaak gewoon thuis bleven. En met een tafeltennistafel en jeu de boules baan hoef je je echt geen moment te vervelen. Eric en Yasmina zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij en staan altijd klaar om te helpen. Francois, de eigenaar, is hartelijk en zorgt dat je je meteen welkom voelt. Alles klopte aan deze plek. Wij zouden zonder twijfel nog een keer terugkomen!

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

Maison très agréable et correctement équipée avec beaucoup de salles de bain et des espaces séparés permettant de ne pas être "les uns sur les autres" malgré une grande capacité d'accueil (8 chambres). Restaurant, café, et petite supérette à proximité + château. Un grand parking devant la maison. Hôte très réactive et petit cadeau d'accueil très agréable. Nous avons passé un bon séjour entre amis

Wat een verrassende accommodatie! Een geweldig terras met een waanzinnig mooi uitzicht, een heerlijk koel en bijzonder huis. Wij hebben genoten van de plek en de leuke originele ‘brocante-inrichting ‘. De brocante-markt op zondag in Carpentras is trouwens een aanrader! Séguret is ook het bezoeken waard en zo zijn er nog talloze leuke dorpjes in de buurt! Avignon is maar een half uur rijden. De wandeling naar het kerkje (St. Hilaire) aan de overkant op de berg (je kunt het vanaf het terras zien) is prachtig en ook goed te doen! Kortom een vette aanrader!!

We LOVED our stay in Avignon! The location is absolutely perfect. The home is large enough to host a big family, the pool was a special beloved feature of our children. Robin bought us groceries ahead of time and the amazing Rosè wine available was delicious. A perfect stay! We fell in love with Avignon.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour entre amis chez Helen & Dave. Le cadre est apaisant et la maison très équipée. Les instructions ont été très claires, nous nous sommes sentis très bien. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le soin apporté aux détails, Helen & Dave sont des personnes très attentives et prévoyantes, ce qui permet de vivre en totale autonomie et sécurité. Le centre-ville à 5 minutes nous a permis d'acheter des aliments frais comme du pain, rapidement. Finalement, Marie, s'occupant de la maison, nous a réservé un accueil chaleureux et un départ serein. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir et recommanderons la maison à notre entourage. Merci Helen, Dave et Marie 😊

Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Sehr schönes, architektonisch durchdachtes Haus, das alt und neu gelungen verbindet und durch seinen Vorbau perfekt den Mistral abhält. So ist es auch bei starkem Wind immer möglich, sich auf der Terrasse aufzuhalten und den schönen Blick über Garten und Weinberge zu genießen. Einen grandiosen Blick hat man außerdem durch die rückwärtigen bodentiefen Fenster in Richtung Cairanne! Bäder und Kücheneinrichtung sind modern und komfortabel. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Der Pool ist angenehm warm und durch seine außergewöhnliche Größe wirklich zum Schwimmen geeignet. Von gelegentlich vorbei fahrenden Traktoren abgesehen, herrscht die meiste Zeit eine himmlische Ruhe. Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Madame Cid für die freundliche Begrüßung und Betreuung!

Wir bedanken uns bei Antoine und Aurelie für einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Tolle Gastgeber, immer freundlich und hilfsbereit mit vielen Tipps für Ausflüge + Restaurants. Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben. Es war alles in guter Qualität und ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Der Pool hat die teilweise große Hitze erträglich gemacht. Nachts war es angenehm kühl, so dass man morgens sehr erholt aufgewacht ist. Die Natur ist unbeschreiblich. Hunderte Schmetterlinge und üppige Vegetation. Für uns einmalig. Für unsere Hündin die totale Freiheit. Auch zusammen mit den netten Gastgeber-Hündinnen Ipa und Lumi. Vielen lieben Dank - wir kehren sehr erholt nach Hause zurück. Zur Umgebung: ein Landstrich geprägt von Flüssen und Wäldern. Im Juni wenig Tourismus und somit sehr ursprünglich. Regional eine gute gesunde Küche. Für uns ganz neue Eindrücke von Frankreich. Viele nette Erlebnisse mit freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Franzosen. Mediterranes Klima. Wir kehren gerne zurück.

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, with generously sized bedrooms and excellent air conditioning throughout. The large garden was a big hit with the children. Located in a peaceful area, it’s only a 10-minute drive to a hypermarket and bakery, which was very convenient. Agnes and Annie were incredibly responsive, answering all our questions within minutes. The house was perfect for our group, including our two-year-olds — we’d definitely recommend it to families

Uwe is a great host and we had an amazing stay at Uwe's place. The home has been restored by Uwe with a lot of taste and is very nice and cosy. Uwe is a very friendly and responsive host and gave us some nice tips for our stay. Uwe is making sure his guest are feeling at home as soon as they arrive, by making available all the basic furniture you need for your first day of stay (soap, cleaning tablets, salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee,...) which is very appreciated. I definitely recoment Uwe's place

Superbe maison avec une vue à couper le souffle. Tout est présent dans le logement pour que vous passiez un bon moment. La piscine (même si la vigilance est indispensable avec des enfants car il n’y a pas de barrière) est superbe et le tout est entretenu avec soin. Nous recommandons fortement.

Moment très agréable. Une déconnexion totale excellente pour se ressourcer et pour déconnecter du quotidien. Hôtes très agréables, réactives et à l’écoute. Une belle leçon de vie concernant l’écologie (toilettes sèches) Un grand merci à vous pour ce beau moment. :)

A little slice of paradise and perfect for a couple. Quiet, private and with the most stunning views from the upper garden. The lower, paved, garden area is wonderful for eating outside, relaxing or having a dip in the pool. Offering both sun and shade at any time of the day. The cottage is spotlessly clean, very well equipped, comfortable bed and bags of character. Tamara was a wonderful host, incredibly welcoming and had lots of great recommendations.

Séjour idyllique dans une maison très bien équipée et très joliment décorée, une maison avec une âme où nous avons trouvé la douceur de vivre et la tranquillité que nous recherchions, c'est la 1ère fois en 9 ans de location Airbnb que je regrette de devoir repartir...

Tres bel endroit .logement comme sur les photos . On a apprécié la petite surprise avec des vienoiseries un matin . On voit que c est des personnes qui font tout pour qu on passe un bon moment. L endroit est au calme malgré qu on soit très proche de la ville de Montelimar .On garde l adresse en mémoire. Si on reviens dans la region et que le logement est libre on tentera notre chance..

Très belle découverte à l'Abbaye de Bodon, le lieu est magnifique et tranquille au milieu des vautour. Il y a plein de randonnées et balade qui partent directement du gîte et le village de Saint-May vaut le détour. Plutôt bien placé pour visiter les Baronnies provençales.

Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dès le pied posé dans la maison. Décorée avec gout, ouverte sur une jolie terrasse/jardin avec piscine, proposant un équipement au top et une petite attention produit local 😊, cette location a tout pour plaire. Située dans un quartier calme mais proche du centre de Montelimar et de commerces alimentaires (à même pas 5 minutes), nous étions installés rapidement. Véro est une hôtesse très sympathique, vigilante et attentionnée, prompte à répondre aux messages. Vous l’aurez compris nous avons été totalement charmés par notre séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet établissement.

Dieses Haus ist ein echter Traum. Die Einrichtung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet – besonders die Holzbalken, Natursteinwände und die stylischen Strohleuchten haben sofort für Urlaubsfeeling gesorgt. Draußen ist es genauso schön wie drinnen: Der Garten ist gepflegt, der Pool perfekt zum Abkühlen. Lage ist ruhig, aber nicht abgeschieden – man ist schnell im nächsten Ort, hat aber absolute Privatsphäre. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet und super sauber gewesen. Alles war genauso wie auf den Bildern – wenn nicht sogar besser. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour au Mas du Rochet ! Le logement est très chaleureux, avec une décoration pleine de charme qui respecte et met en valeur l’âme d’origine de la maison ! Le logement est très bien équipé, rien ne manque pour se sentir comme chez soi. Un grand merci à Mathieu et Adeline, des hôtes accueillants, disponibles et super sympathiques. On recommande à 100 % !

This place is a hidden gem for anyone looking to spend some time truly in nature.. the sound of birds in the morning and the sunsets are beautiful. A car is required as the place is hidden away but it’s definitely worth the extra mile for the experience. Florian has put together a lot of local recommendations and the morning fresh bread available on some days is a must! All in all we had a great time and recharged our batteries!
