Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Valaurie

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

What a fantastic week we had with 14 adults! We were there with our family and the house really offered all the space to enjoy together and occasionally retreat. It is spacious, stylish and super comfortable, with nice bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms and cozy corners to sit together. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite place: cooking, eating and drinking in the evening sun. The area is beautiful. We went canoeing, visited vineyards and caves, but honestly, the pool was so nice that we often just stayed home. And with a table tennis table and jeu de boules court, you really don't have to be bored for a moment. Eric and Yasmina are incredibly friendly and welcoming and are always ready to help. Francois, the owner, is warm and makes you feel welcome right away. Everything was right about this place. We would definitely come back again!

C18 mill of great charm, surrounded by lovely garden, all restored and brought to life by Isabelle. Utterly peaceful. Within 10 minutes' drive from unspoilt village with excellent food shopping to provide for delicious meals in the garden, serenaded by nightingale and turtle dove. Bats and tuneful frogs in the evenings. Beautiful walks from the door along dusty lanes with verges full of wild flowers. Avignon, Orange, Glanum, Nimes, Camargue all within driveable distance. Isabelle could not have been more friendly and welcoming and we hope to visit again one day.

Corinne and Gilles welcomed us warmly to this very nice wooded park. Everything is arranged to make you feel good, welcome gifts awaited us in the accommodation. The latter is functional, very clean, pleasant for our vacation and the cherry on top is a jacuzzi. We are very happy to have stayed in this beautiful place and Vanille too. Thank you for everything

We LOVED our stay in Avignon! The location is absolutely perfect. The home is large enough to host a big family, the pool was a special beloved feature of our children. Robin bought us groceries ahead of time and the amazing Rosè wine available was delicious. A perfect stay! We fell in love with Avignon.

We had a great time with friends at Helen & Dave's place. The setting is soothing and the house is very equipped. The instructions were very clear, we felt great. We very much appreciated the attention to detail, Helen & Dave are very attentive and far-sighted people, which allows us to live in total autonomy and safety. The city center 5 minutes away allowed us to buy fresh food like bread, quickly. Finally, Marie, taking care of the house, gave us a warm welcome and a serene departure. Couldn’t have asked for a better house - ticked all the boxes and was conveniently close to Avignon without being in town. The house was spotless with all amenities thought about. Pool, loungers, outside dining was brilliant. Will definitely be back.

Very nice house, very spacious with a large kitchen and large living room. The bedroom with a shower, sink and toilet area is a real plus. Very beautiful environment surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. A nice touch from Axelle for our arrival with a bottle of wine from her vines. We will be happy to continue visiting this beautiful area.

Unsurprisingly, the place is as we expected. The description is totally accurate, the change of scenery is total. The comfort is still there and it's very pleasant. Welcoming and responsive host. Do it without hesitation!

Very nice, architecturally well-designed house that successfully combines old and new and perfectly keeps the mistral away with its porch. So it is always possible to stay on the terrace and enjoy the beautiful view over the garden and vineyards, even in strong winds. You also have a magnificent view through the rear floor-to-ceiling windows towards Cairanne! Bathrooms and kitchen furnishings are modern and comfortable. Everything was very clean and maintained. The pool is pleasantly warm and really suitable for swimming due to its exceptional size. Apart from the occasional tractor passing by, there is a heavenly peace most of the time. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you very much to Madame Cid for the friendly welcome and care!

We had a fantastic stay! The house was spacious, with generously sized bedrooms and excellent air conditioning throughout. The large garden was a big hit with the children. Located in a peaceful area, it’s only a 10-minute drive to a hypermarket and bakery, which was very convenient. Agnes and Annie were incredibly responsive, answering all our questions within minutes. The house was perfect for our group, including our two-year-olds — we’d definitely recommend it to families

Uwe is a great host and we had an amazing stay at Uwe's place. The home has been restored by Uwe with a lot of taste and is very nice and cosy. Uwe is a very friendly and responsive host and gave us some nice tips for our stay. Uwe is making sure his guest are feeling at home as soon as they arrive, by making available all the basic furniture you need for your first day of stay (soap, cleaning tablets, salt, pepper, olive oil, coffee,...) which is very appreciated. I definitely recoment Uwe's place

We felt very good from the moment we set foot in the house. Tastefully decorated, open to a nice terrace/garden with pool, offering top equipment and a little local product attention😊, this rental has it all. Located in a quiet neighborhood but close to the center of Montelimar and food shops (within 5 minutes), we settled in quickly. Véro is a very friendly, vigilant and caring host, quick to respond to messages. You will have understood we were totally charmed by our stay and we highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house with a breathtaking view. Everything is present in the accommodation to ensure you have a good time. The pool (although vigilance is essential with children because there is no barrier) is superb and everything is maintained with care. We highly recommend it.

Idyllic stay in a very well-equipped and beautifully decorated house, a house with a soul where we found the sweetness of life and the tranquility we were looking for, it's the first time in 9 years of Airbnb rentals that I regret having to leave...

Very nice place. Accommodation as shown in the pictures. We enjoyed the little surprise with pastries one morning. We can see that they are people who do everything to make us have a good time. The place is quiet despite being very close to the city of Montelimar. We'll keep the address in mind. If we come back to the area and the place is available, we'll try our luck.

I did not believe it was going to be as picturesque as it was - absolutely as described… walking distance to the fantastic Domaine Mourchon winery (25-30 mins) great bakery - check opening times. 2 un tested restaurants, again check opening times. Wonderful views with fantastic noisey Swallows morning and evening :-)

I recommend it without hesitating! Incredibly large accommodation, an equally large and beautiful outdoor area! What a joy to have been able to spend our vacation here, our most beautiful vacation home compared to everything we have rented in the past! Big highlight: Absolutely no neighbors opposite, ideal for those who want to be alone, without any noise and leave their daily life Also dogs are accepted here, the very nice owner even provided a "Toutourisme" booklet for visits accompanied by your dog Thanks Aurélie, see you soon

This house is a real dream. The furnishings are designed with a lot of love for detail – especially the wooden beams, natural stone walls and the stylish straw lights immediately ensured a holiday feeling. Outside it is just as beautiful as inside: the garden is well kept, the pool perfect for cooling off. Location is quiet, but not secluded – you are quickly in the next town, but have absolute privacy. The house is well equipped and super clean. Everything was just as shown in the pictures – if not better. I'd come back anytime. Unrestricted recommendation!

We had a great time at Le Mas du Rochet! The accommodation is very warm, with charming decor that respects and highlights the original soul of the house! A little slice of paradise and perfect for a couple. Quiet, private and with the most stunning views from the upper garden. The lower, paved, garden area is wonderful for eating outside, relaxing or having a dip in the pool. Offering both sun and shade at any time of the day. The cottage is spotlessly clean, very well equipped, comfortable bed and bags of character. Tamara was a wonderful host, incredibly welcoming and had lots of great recommendations.
