Cozy accommodation in the heart of Périgord Noir in a peaceful environment. Beautiful area and beautiful terrace. Lydia and Julien are very friendly and despite a long holiday weekend, they insisted on coming to see if everything was ok for us. Welcome with a bottle of wine. Linen and sheets that smell wonderfully good. On the other hand, wifi is a little tight for teleworking. I recommend it.

This was a return to the Dordogne after a 25 year absence and it did not disappoint. It was a treat to stay in Ben’s wonderful property so close to the chateau at Beynac. The interior has been thoughtfully restored, remaining entirely in character with such a historic building but providing modern convenience. Its elevated position on the hillside is perfect for taking in the views and we especially enjoyed the terrace tucked at the back of La Maisonette which looks straight down and along the river. Thank you Ben - we had a great time.

Such an idyllic stay! The gîte is perfectly located amidst peaceful surroundings, you really feel like you’re in the middle of the French countryside. The garden is enormous, and was a lovely area for our little girl to run around. The pool area is very clean and looks new, located within the grounds , it’s a little walk from the gite but this is great for feeling of privacy. The gite itself is well equipped, clean, spacious and remains cool even when it’s very warm outside. A home away from home. It’s very easy to park outside the front. The local village is very picturesque with restaurants, boulangerie, mini supermarket. It’s a quick drive down, but was too far for us to walk, especially in the heat. Sarah was a fantastic host, was very easy to contact and responsive. Such a wonderful introduction to the Dordogne region for my family and I100% would recommend. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Sarah. Marie’s home was beautiful and without a doubt the highest standard of accommodation we’ve stayed in with Airbnb. The location is so peaceful and felt very safe behind the remote controlled gate for your car and then the bungalow itself was absolutely superb, immaculately spotless with the most comfortable bed and living room accommodation and a kitchen and bathroom with all of the highest quality appliances, it really is superb. Marie was a charming host and if we get back to visit this beautiful part of the world again we shall definitely be staying here again, many thanks David & Teresa x

Franck and Valerie are two quality hosts. Friendly, responsive, and good advice. The gite is a real cozy nest, with a terrace with superb views. Very well equipped, clean. It's the perfect place to recharge in nature.

We had a lovely stay at Pré des Noix. Upon our arrival, Alexandrine gave us all the instructions and made herself perfectly available during the stay. The small well-equipped house is lovely and peaceful, it is a real place of rest 2 steps from the Vézère Valley and its must-see tourist spots. Everything was perfect and we'll be happy to come back if the opportunity arises.

Caroline and Gilles are very warm and friendly hosts who were immediately available for questions. The listing is as described in the photos. It's a really extraordinary, very large apartment. The living room (formerly the station hall) resembles a museum, Caroline and Gilles have collected old station utensils and pictures and exhibited them there. House and garden are lovingly restored and designed, the two have invested a lot of work (and money) to make the old train station a wonderful accommodation. There is nothing missing in the kitchen. The center of Le Bugue is about 1 km away, via the beautiful bike path "voie verte" it is 4 km. We really enjoyed the bike tours and our accommodation. I also enjoyed the personal contact and a little "chat" in the evening, so I could use the "rusty" French skills again. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic location for exploring Bergerac. Beautiful apartment with all of the comforts and conveniences you would expect. The hot tub is a real bonus.

A little piece of freshness after a heavy day of work under a blazing sun. Very well equipped, this small atypical accommodation is located in a quiet environment, 15 minutes walk (beautiful walk along the Dordogne) from the old center of Bergerac. Good value for money and welcoming hosts.

A very nice, spacious, comfortable apartment which met all our needs. Communication was very clear and helpful. From the place you are in the middle of the city centre in about two minutes walk. Also parking instructions were very helpful. Very good price/quality, would recommend to everyone!

A very personal, warm welcome to a fantastic retreat in a beautiful natural ambiance. The hosts did not miss anything and were always personally approachable and exceptionally helpful. Everything as described and the pool was fantastic. The surroundings offered many opportunities for chilling, sunbathing and grilling. We highly recommend this place. The only flaw in this paradise is the difficult access via stony field paths. We did it with a very cautious driving style.

Small accommodation very well equipped and very clean. Perfectly matches the photos. Ideally located, at the Mataguerre tower, which gives you direct access to the old town. Also close to the Tower of Vesone. Feel free to visit the cathedral's rooftops. Lucine is very responsive, I highly recommend this listing.

Jean-Guy and Christine were the most welcoming and accommodating air BnB hosts we’ve ever experienced. They were very understanding when we needed to check in later, tried to find us an adaptor when we realised we had bought the wrong one, and even left us chocolate cake and home made fig jam which was delicious !! The flat itself is stunning, and we loved sitting on the balcony listening to the stream below.

Very well-equipped accommodation, good location, quiet and above all very clean, thank you to Mathieu for hosting us! I recommend!!!!

We spent one night at Véronique's apartment to make a stop on the way to our vacation. The apartment is as described, clean and well-equipped with good bedding. The place is quiet and easy to find, upon arrival we were hosted very well by Véronique and we were able to chat together.

Stephanie was a fantastic host who was a pleasure to meet and taking the time to tell us about all the local places to visit and her apartment was ideally located for walking into Sarlat town centre in just a couple of minutes and it was a very enjoyable 3 day stay, thanks David and Teresa

Location is a gated community that has a mix of residents and rentals. Beautiful countryside view. close to town. 4 minute drive to Carrefour grocery store. Steep hill down to town would be challenging for some walkers. There were a number of stone outside steps up to the apartment level. Very clean inside the apartment with comfy beds. Water power in upstairs toilette was weak. Overall a great choice in Sarlat.

Sandrine and Pascal were very responsive to questions before booking. Pascal welcomed us with friendliness to this accommodation which perfectly matches the description given in the listing. 5 minutes from the historic center of Sarlat, this tastefully decorated apartment has all the comforts you need for a "cozy" stay at Sandrine and Pascal's. We would come back for a future stay in this beautiful Périgord Noir.

Sarlat was special to us! With Christmas approaching, it was complete. The city is small but charming! The Christmas market, very cheerful and welcoming, made a place in our hearts! It was a great place to choose and visit numerous sites in the region. The apartment is exactly as described. The cost-benefit was valuable to us. If I had known Sarlat before, as well as the apartment, I would spend Christmas there! It would have been magical! Thanks host! I'll be back if the world doesn't end first!

The village of Gensac is tucked away in the lovely Saint-Émilion countryside. The one-time convent feels like a special place, a quiet and peaceful retreat to return to after our days visiting Bordeaux, Saint-Émilion, Bergerac, and environs. The suite is spacious, very clean, has useful amenities, and we settled in easily. A vase of fresh flowers on the dining table and a bottle of local wine were nice touches that we especially appreciated. John was a helpful, informative, and friendly host. We enjoyed meeting him and will remember our stay there fondly. Thank you, John.
