Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Vágar

We had a wonderful time at Marion's. The apartment is beautiful and certainly one of the nicest Airbnbs we've ever stayed in. The view over Klaksvik is amazing, and the terrace is a great addition. The apartment is really well equipped and has everything you need. It was spotlessly clean and really spacious. I would recommend booking a stay at Marion to everyone. Thank you for having us! :)

So our flight to Faroe Islands never landed as the pilot couldn't see the runway due to thick fog and reverted back to Iceland, where we flew from. I texted the host - Inga and she was such a wonderful host that she refunded all the money that she would have gotten if we had occupied her place. This was unexpected and I'm beyond grateful for her generosity. I hope to visit Faroe Islands sometime soon in the future.

Beautiful apartment right in the heart of Torshavn. Walking distance to restaurants, old town, and parliament with views of the marina. Plenty of parking available in the area but not at the apartment itself. There is a narrow staircase up to the third floor which is where you stay. We loved our stay here and would recommend to anyone staying in Torshavn

Great place to stay. It was very comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. The location is good too - the centre of Torshavn is so easy to access quickly by car, there is a good supermarket nearby and some good takeaway food places too. Hilary is a good host, taking care to provide a really good experience and to communicate well.

Spacious, comfortable apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. Near a grocery store and bus stop. Elsebeth and Jon were incredible hosts, offering to help us get to different places and sharing stories and history of the area, making our time spent in Nordragota extra special!

Perfect location with great hosts. The apartment is very convenient for a family. The weather was not for the outdoor pleasure but there was a beautiful set up with table and chairs. We will definitely recommend and return if possible. All the very best from the Perraud family.

I’m sure all other reviewers have said great things. So I’ll say something different. There are these two young colts across the street. Every morning we would watch the two horse frolicking around. Sometimes they race. Sometimes they fight. Their hair rolls with the wind. It was beautiful to watch.

We enjoyed our 3 night's stay at Ingrid's place. Location was good, not far from Vagar airport, easy to find and near amenities like supermarket and gas station. It was homey and cozy, allowing us to prepare meals which we can enjoy with a nice view. It was cold and raining during our stay, otherwise we could have spend more time in the balcony. It was good to have 2 toilets to share among 5 adults although one is located down the basement. It was nice of Ingrid's daughter to come and help us with the internet setting when we arrived and also readily gave us some cooking oil when we couldn't find any in the pantry. Would definitely recommend!

What a wonderful first impression to the Faroe Islands, staying in the small quaint village. Five minutes from the airport was wonderful. The village itself was pristine as was the house. After a long day sightseeing. It was wonderful to come back to such a comfy and restful home. Thanks for hosting us. It’s a long way to come from Australia but it was worth every minute.

A very cosy but modern and well furnished cottage in a perfect location for exploring by the islands. Súsanna is a helpful host who communicates well. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at this cozy and charming house! Everything felt warm and welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were a big group, but the house was spacious enough for everyone to feel comfortable and at home. The jacuzzi was a real highlight – the views from there are absolutely stunning and made our evenings extra special. The grill was also perfect and made our outdoor meals even more enjoyable. Our host was amazing – she did everything to make our stay perfect and was very accommodating with all our requests. We truly appreciated her kindness and flexibility. The only downside? Time went by way too fast – we didn’t want to leave! We’d be more than happy to come back again. Highly recommended!

If this are looking for a place to stay within walking distance to all the best of Torshavn and yet far enough outside the main areas where driving is stressful, look no further! The flat was spacious, clean, and felt like home for our family of 4. We loved the view (and the sheep) from the window and the cozy feel of the flat. I was pleasantly surprised to discover the beds in the primary room have position control so you can set the sleeping position of your choice. The area is very quiet yet close to restaurants and a grocery store. We especially appreciated access to the washer and dryer. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook meals and make morning coffee. My kids appreciated the roasted nuts and snacks, which were a nice touch but the host. The hosts were very responsive and quickly helped me gain entry after my husband accidentally took the key hiking!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

very cute, great location, super clean, easy to access and amazing view. The only down side was we had a hard time keeping hot water in the shower but the kitchen always had hot water...wasn't that big of a deal for us though.

We stayed in Torshavn for a week and the apartment was amazing - we couldn’t have asked for better. All rooms were comfortable and equipped with everything needed. The living areas had amazing views of the harbour and beyond. Helgi was very helpful if we asked her anything whilst we were staying there. It was very easy to find, and instructions were clear, so we didn’t need to ask many questions. It’s very walkable to the harbour, and if you want to go further afield, there is a No.1 bus which leaves from across the road at the back of the house. The bus stop is directly opposite. The local buses are all free - something the bus driver found hilarious when we tried to pay for a journey! We got a ferry/bus pass which can transport you around all of the different islands for either 4 or 7 days. Very good value. We didn’t hire a car but if I came back to the Faroe Islands, I would definitely hire one to get to the remote areas. We all had an amazing time here and would happily return.

We only stayed here one night, but the place was lovely with a view of the water, which was great! It was spacious and the bed was comfortable! It was easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves traveling here again!

They call it a place UNDISCOVERED , we just spent a week Discovering the Faroe Islands , and stayed at Osvald’s place in Torshavn , We had a great stay , the apartment was well equipped and in a great location , a nice view of the Harbour , easy walking distance to city center , Osvald was accessible as he lives on site and was easily available for any questions or assistance . He was a great host and we recommend his apartment

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment. The apartment was beautiful and well-stocked with everything we could need. We especially appreciated the well stocked kitchen. There were multiple grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance. We also appreciated being able to do our laundry after a day of hiking. I would absolutely recommend this for your stay in the Faroe Islands!
