Vacation rentals with lake access in Vágar

We stayed in this beautifully developed boathouse for a week. The location in the middle of the Faroe Islands is unbeatable, from here you can explore the whole country by car! It was just super cozy, quiet and relaxing here. The place was exactly as described and everything was very clean and tidy. We were also very happy about the washing machine and dryer, you don't find that everywhere. Communication with the hosts was always very friendly, informative and fast. We highly recommend the accommodation as well as Maria and Pol as hosts and would definitely come again.

Atli made us feel like at home. The whole house was very clean and everything we needed was there. We did especially appreciated the fact that some food was in the refrigerator when we arrived; on a holiday day. This kind gesture from Atli was amazing and we do thank him a lot for that!

Tórhallur was a great host, very responsive and the place was incredible. Beautiful, peaceful, spacious and very clean, you have all the amenities you need. We would definitely stay there again!

We were incredibly happy with our stay at Jórun's lovely boathouse. It's a calm and beautiful location only a short car ride from everything we wanted to explore. The house has all necessary amenities and more. The shoe dryer turned out to be more helpful than expected and a warm sauna after a day of exploring in the rain was very appreciated.

Very clean place with a fully equipped kitchen. Loved the dining area where we can look out to the fjords. a convenient place to get to all islands, Torshavn and airport.

Senøva is a fantastic hostess. Her very cozy house is perfectly fine. We feel right at home there. When there were just issues in Torshavn with the city water, she immediately informed so we could take action. Senøva's place is highly recommended for those looking for a cozy place to stay in Torshavn.

It is the second time I am in the same house and I could be many times. Helena is a very kind and nice host, even if I haven,t personally met her. The communication with her was easy. Everything was perfect.

Lydia’s place was really great and I enjoyed my 10 days in Klaksvik staying here. I really appreciated the modern washer and dryer. The water pressure in the shower was great also. The view out the window is amazing and never gets boring to look at as the light changes throughout the day on the hills. The beds are comfortable but it would be nice if maybe one of the rooms was a double bed instead of joined twin singles as they can move apart in the night. But overall this is a great place to stay and Lydia was very accommodating when I needed early checkin! I would recommend this place to any one staying in Klaksvik

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The space was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with nearly every comfort of home. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding, and their warm welcome made us feel immediately at ease. When we accidentally left something behind, they went out of their way to return it—such lovely, considerate people. The accommodation itself was excellent, with just a short walk to nearby parking.

A lovely apartment with a great view. Clean and tidy. Central location. Nice welcome . The only small minus was the lack of description of how the dishwasher is started. All in all, we were very happy with the apartment.

The location is beautiful, facing the ocean with two access paths to the seaside. Two windows overlook the ocean from the dining room. Everything is very quiet and the activity upstairs is very modest and quite bearable, not annoying at all. The living room is a little dark, not facing the view but very comfortable, with blankets and comfortable cushions. The bedding is excellent, and the bathroom is functional. the decoration is suitable and tasteful. The kitchen is very well equipped, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. Nancy helped us a lot during the marathon so that we didn't get stuck in the roadblocks. Recommended without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay! Sunneva greeted us welcomingly with fresh homemade bread, jam, and coffee. She was always friendly, helpful, communicative, and overall, a wonderful host. We felt right at home in this Airbnb, and Sunneva's hospitality really stood out in comparison to other Airbnbs I stayed in. She even showed us where we could swim in the ocean! Highly recommend this place :)

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment is perfectly located for exploring the northern islands, and being in Klaksvík means you’re close to plenty of restaurants and grocery stores. The place was spotless, exceptionally clean, and the kitchen was not only sparkling but also incredibly well stocked. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was modern and spacious. Wi-Fi reception was strong in every corner of the apartment, and the living room was the perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking. The laundry room was also well equipped for all our needs. We’d stay at Ása and John’s place again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone planning to explore the northern islands!
