Facing the cliffs of Presles and the cave of Choranche, the cottage is a completely independent and open apartment for 2 (or even 4) adults and a child, in this typical old farmhouse, inhabited by the owners. You have a private terrace with exceptional views, and you have free access to the large garden. Within the Regional Park, in a Natura 2000 area, the cottage has direct access to the forest. It is a very good starting point for the breathtaking Hauts Plateaux du Vercors.

Our house is located on the heights of a village of 38 inhabitants in the Vercors park at 600 m altitude in the Quint valley and 15 minutes from Die. Atypical, extremely quiet, welcoming, comfortable and spacious, it can accommodate people because of its space and configuration. Even if there are many people, everyone finds the place and calm that suits them. The surrounding nature allows you to rest and enjoy many walks starting directly from the house on foot or by bike.

It took us 1 year of work to restore all the charm to this (very) old stone building where we took up residence, and where we reserved an independent space to create, with love, the Gîte des Nines! Ancien bâtiment agricole, cette maison de 75 m2 a entièrement été réhabilitée après 3 ans de travaux (fin des travaux juillet 2021) Cette rénovation a été faite avec beaucoup de soin, pour une prestation haut de gamme. Dans chacune des pièces la vue est saisissante, charmante ou encore aérienne… C’est un véritable petit nid d’aigle qui domine le village… mais les pieds dans l’eau… La rivière Roanne et ses piscines naturelles sont à 5 minutes à pied.

Babrou's Farmhouse

Right in the heart of the Drome Valley, our secluded house is two kilometers from the village of Saillans. From GR trails, it offers a breathtaking view of Les Trois Becs. Our agricultural activity blends with a rich nature and promotes biodiversity. The sheep graze around the house from October to May and some go to alpine during the summer period. We produce yogurt and sheep cheese during the low season.
