Tania's home is lovely & impeccably clean. The room is very comfortable and she has thought of every little thing you may need in the bedroom and bath. Parking is easy & I was able to walk and bike to the shops and parks. The neighborhood is strictly residential.

Kay set the bar! Our place had so much charm, Kay was so accommodating and kind, and was thoughtful in ways I'd never expect! As examples, I got fantastic advice about local food spots, had plenty of little snack accommodations in the home, and when Kay found out we were attending a late night event, she made sure to keep the lights on our entrance! If I could take my last 5 stars and give it to Kay, I would. 10/5 would absolutely recommend.

We had a lovely stay! The place was beautiful, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The amenities all looked great even though we didn’t get to enjoy them fully due to the rain, but we’re already looking forward to coming back. Juanita was such a wonderful host and Zeus was a great dog. Juanita even surprised us with a thoughtful Father’s Day card, which was such a sweet touch. She was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this spot. We will definitely be returning!

Jorge and John were incredible welcoming, oriented me to the shared spaces. I especially appreciated having a dedicated space in the refrigerator and pantry for my food during my stay. I got some great advice for local food and recreation. It was a pleasure staying in Frederick!

Lots of things to like here...first of all, the most important thing to me is that a place is clean and this place was very clean! Aesthetically pretty as well. All very modern, but charming decor from the inside to the outside patio. It was also equipped with everything you would need. The location was perfect for walking around in downtown Frederick and even though it is downtown, I was surprised by how quiet it was at night when we were sleeping. The hosts were also very friendly and communicative. It was just the right size for the four of us. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay at Shawn’s! Very likely to return. Comfortable bed, private bathroom. Really nice townhome. Casper the cat was an adorably welcoming face coming in and out. A cat lover who (sadly) is allergic, I had very little reaction to Casper — didn’t have to pop a Zyrtec for three days! Highly recommend Shawn’s pad for a place for a safe, comforting place to lay your head.
