We were two families from NYC that spend three nights at this place. The house was more than spacious for the 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed the four person hot tub, the firepit and badminton set. The kitchen was really well equipped for cooking and the beds were super comfortable. John was just a text away for any questions.

This was a lovely place to stay for a few days. While the river is quiet, the birds are happy here. We had a great time identifying wildlife. The hot tub was a lovely addition. We reached out to the host a few times with some questions, the host was VERY responsive. That was awesome. Wifi was perfect for two remote working gals. Bonus: the bald eagle's nest across the water!

Great location. Very relaxing and peaceful. The house is adorable. The owner was very helpful and gave recommendations of local things to do. My fiancé and I stayed for two nights. We went to two of the restaurants that were recommended and we also went on a hike, we hiked 5 miles and it was a great day. The hot tub was super relaxing and we even made a fire at the fire pit. We can’t wait to go back.

Nicholas is an outstanding host. We did have to reach out to him pretty late at night and he was still super responsive and found a remedy for our situation. Very nice guy. We didn’t have time to use all the amenities of the community, but the lake looked pretty cool. We came for an event at Pocono Raceway, which was a pretty short drive from this house. Our dogs loved the fenced in yard! Such a bonus that the back doors go right out to the fenced yard for them (and convenient for lazy people like me who don’t want to attach a leash every time). This house was just what we needed for a quiet weekend! It’s a perfect place to go to if you’re looking to escape, and surround yourself in nature.

Christine’s place was amazing. We stood at the “Fika” cabin and it was great. It was super cozy and a well thought out space. It had plenty of room for me and my family. The cabin was stocked with all the essentials needed to a great time. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that wants a nice getaway with the family without sacrificing any amenities. Was exactly the weekend getaway we needed. The tub was perfect for the cold nights, and we were just close enough to do a few hikes. The cabin was exceptionally clean and James was very attentive to anything that we needed. It is definitely in a neighborhood, and there are many families that live by but because of the greenery and the way that the house is laid out it feels very private. We would recommend this to friends and family! Thank you, James!

Stayed here 4 times now and always look forward to it. The peaceful surroundings and comfort of the cabin are a great escape from the city. Also just a short drive to Shohola falls, Milford and Dingmans ferry for shopping and hiking then coming back to the cabin to grill and hangout on the deck. Already looking forward to coming back. We had a few simple questions and Glen is always quick to respond..

Great cabin. Space is very comfortable. Amenities in the cabin were good. The cabin is secluded though with about a 20-25min drive to town. If winter weather is in the forecast, make sure you have a all-wheel or 4-wheel drive car - lots of hilly areas.

The location is incredibly private, offering a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home, and the welcoming vibe was evident from the moment I arrived. The fire pit was a fantastic touch—perfect for relaxing evenings under the stars. The grill allowed for some delicious outdoor cooking, adding to the overall experience. The bedroom is stunning, with a charming design that made sleeping there a true pleasure. I also loved the wood style decor throughout the cabin; it added a warm, rustic charm that I found absolutely captivating. We will definitely be back soon! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and cozy getaway!

This is a great place to disconnect and enjoy nature. Very quiet and the cabin was very clean. The wood stove was nice and easy to operate, we enjoyed it very much. The path to the cabin is steep so you’ll get a little workout for free.

Robert was a fantastic host. My wife and I spent the weekend there after our wedding and it was a very pleasant getaway. Robert made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The house and the property are both gorgeous, the inside was squeaky clean, and the lake is always a treat – I loved fishing in it. It was certainly a little home away from home, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway. One day during our trip, I managed to lock my wife and I out of my car while getting groceries in town, and Robert went out of his way to try and help us and even offered to pick us up. Fortunately, I did manage to eventually get in my car, but the offer alone was exceptional. He is an awesome host, and he definitely went above & beyond for my wife and I. Thanks again, Robert! Our stay was great, and we will for sure return one day!

Ryan has a really beautiful cabin right on a lake. It was even nicer than the pictures and was absolutely spotless. Although it is in a remote location, Ryan gave very clear instructions and our stay was flawless. I appreciated that Ryan reached out before approving the rental to inform us of snow on the entrance road and to make sure that we had 4 wheel drive vehicles. He was extremely responsive and reached out numerous times during our stay to make sure everything was o.k. We used the cabin for a ski weekend and it was about a 30 minute scenic drive to Elk Mountain. One caveat is there are not many restaurants nearby so you may want to bring food.

Tucked away, cozy cabin in the woods of PA. Very scenic surroundings that will calm you the moment you arrive. We loved spending some much needed time away during the holidays with my wife and our young kids. Great for families. Thanks again to Mary for the hospitality.

We loved Claudia’s place! It is clean and the house and property are beautiful. Claudia was so thoughtful and even asked us if we wanted to check out later b/c cleaners were coming later. We WILL be back!! To listen to the creek, sit on the covered porch, and hang at the fire pit by the creek. There is also a great lounging basement for rainy days and movies complete with Sonos and super large tv. Secluded and quiet This is a great find!! Thanks again Claudia.

This was truly the most amazing airbnb experience I have ever had and I’m so glad I was able to spend my birthday weekend here. The home is clean, organized, and stocked with literally anything you could ever need. My girlfriend and I took advantage of the nice weather and used the paddle boat, canoe, and kayaks many times. Exploring the lake and creek was my favorite part. Sitting by the fire was so relaxing. I’m not kidding when I say that this trip truly reconnected me to nature and my soul’s purpose. We will definitely be staying again. It was a MUCH needed retreat and we are so grateful to Kelly for hosting us and being so wonderful!! :)

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the wonderful experience I had while staying at Erin’s cabin. Erin is a friendly, responsive and proactive host. It was evident that she genuinely cares about the well-being and overall enjoyment of her guests. The cabin itself was delightfully rustic and nestled in a beautiful location. There was plenty of room to appreciate the peaceful surroundings and the pleasant sounds of Trout Creek running directly through the property. I am already looking forward to my next stay! A very nice, private, place - where allows you to relax without seeing/interacting with people. Paul is also very helpful and responsive - you can get almost any help from him quickly. The cottage is great with well interior design. It has everything we need to stay in it for a week. Highly recommend to everyone who is looking for a escape from daily chores and cities. We will definitely come back and stay longer in this lovely space.
