Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Unguja North Region

Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

2 weeks in this house was really peaceful and nice. The general manager Mudy and also Anna were very proactive. The house is situated in a very quiet environment and we could walk 15 minutes to Kendwa beach. Otherwise we took moto taxis. I really recommand this place

Vi trivdes så bra i denna villa! 4 fina sovrum med alla tillhörande badrum. två kök men vi använde bara utskicket. Stor kul och frys vilket uppskattades! Fantastisk pool och allt omhändertaget. Patrik och hans gäng tog väl hand om oss, fanns alltid i närheten men inte så att det var påträngande. Grusvägen dit var katastrof men kunde ändå köra med barnvagn på den. Stranden nådde man efter en promenad på 15 min. Finns inte jättemycket runt omkring men efter ett par dagar fann vi affär och sådant som behövdes. Patrik hjälpte oss med allt vi behövde. Vi bodde helt privat här och kände oss trygga. Eftersom vi reste med småbarn så saknade jag barnsäng och barnstol som är lätt att införskaffa så det är något som kanske kan åtgärdas. Bra AC i rummen och väldigt fin och omhändertagen trädgård.

Simone was een geweldige host! Reageerde super snel. Saïd haalde ons van het vliegveld en stond altijd paraat. Mtumwa poetse geweldig! Brandschoon. Bedden werden elke 4 dagen heerlijk verschoond. Bij uitval van electriciteit en water was er een generator. Fijn! Strand voor de deur niet echt schoon, maar klein stukje lopen en je hebt een fijn strand. In huis een info map met allerlei tips voor uitstapjes. Je kunt de hulpzame Saïd als chauffeur vragen, of iemand anders. Kinderen uit de buurt spelen voor de deur op het strand. Wij hebben er van genoten! Zet om 17.30 je stoel op het strand en kijk naar de visserbootjes die met hun vangst terugkomen. Het huis heeft een heerlijke veranda met eettafel en stoelen, waar je kunt ontbijten etc. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf van 4 weken gehad en danken Simone voor de goeie communicatie! Tip: neem eea voor de kinderen mee. Ze zijn echt arm.

Micaela’s house is beautiful facing a stunning beach. Chinga welcomed us and let us in earlier than expected, which was a huge relief. He was incredibly responsive and helpful - always popped round when we needed him. Asante Chinga! Halima cooked us a lovely breakfast. We also had a great massage. We enjoyed the Yoga Bar, Imani Beach Hotel breakfast and a couple of good dinners at Zan View. The house is stylish, the sand garden delightful and through the tiny gate you are already on the beautiful beach. Definitely recommend!

Moudy ist ein großartiger Gastgeber, immer gut erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Shuttle von und zur Fähre hatte er von sich aus organisiert. Vielen Dank Moudy! Das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet in einem großzügigen Garten mit viel Schatten. Es liegt im Dorf und nicht in einem abgetrennten Ressort, aber die Menschen sind sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich sicher. Zum Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten. Es gibt zwar keine Klimaanlage, aber durch die offenen Fenster mit Moskitonetzen und die Ventilatoren, war es angenehm. Ein wunderschöner Ort, um Sansibar authentisch zu erleben!

Wie waren aufgrund der aktuellsten eher schlechten Bewertung etwas skeptisch. Haben dann trotzdem gebucht, da wir ganz kurzfristig einchecken konnten und der Preis einfach super war. Welch Glück: es war definitiv die geräumigste und komfortabelste Unterkunft, die wir auf unserer Rundreise auf Sansibar hatten👍👍👍 Besonders das große Wohn-/Esszimmer war trotz der Hitze angenehm kühl und wir verbrachten dort bei starkem Regen einen gemütlichen Spieleabend. Dieses Zimmer ist das einzige des Hauses welches nur mit Metallmückenschutz und ohne Fensterscheiben ausgestattet ist. So geht durch die vielen Fenster immer ein angenehmer Luftzug. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Die schönste Unterkunft auf Sansibar, ausschließlich super nettes Personal, das Zimmer und der Pool waren perfekt sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Lage ist unschlagbar. Wir würden jedem empfehlen, hier hin zu kommen und kehren auf jeden Fall zurück! ❤️

Great host. My only complaint is that they should have a solution for the flies so that you can enjoy outside without swatting them off the whole time. Lastly, it’s far from everywhere and everything and getting around became costly so take into consideration rebooking but the place is beautiful and peaceful.

The best place i would recommend.. Its the peaceful heaven i would have say... Mr.Boris... my man... he is always there for you... Olga is super friendly couldn't see her directly... but she helped me a lot though immediate response over the chat. The place is the best for the price and consist of 2 pools.

Ottima struttura con un personale molto gentile e sempre a disposizione. Il posto é tranquillissimo e incantevole niente a che vedere con il caos di Nungwi. Incluso c’è il servizio di pulizia per tutti i giorni. La casa è equipaggiata con tutto quello di cui necessitavamo. Se cercate un posto meno turistico questo fa al caso vostro! Speriamo che questa zona si preservi sempre cosí!

The place gave us exactly what we came for in Zanzibar, the beach front , only issue i had was how to get to the place , google map took us to different Zanzibar beach house and I didn’t have a sim card or data to communicate wt the owner , I think it’s better to use matemwe or just heaven apartment coz the locals know this places , the lady Esta was always there to help with whatever we needed and the owner always asking if we needed anything, so me and my friends felt at home . Thanks for the memories.

Il posto è accogliente , lo staff cordiale ti fa sentire a tuo agio per ogni evenienza. alloggio come da descrizione spazioso e attrezzato con tutto l'occorrente. la piscina è una chicca della struttura, grande e con diversi livelli di profondità adatta a tutti con sdraio a bordo piscina tipiche e comode. consigliatissimo!

Unsere Unterkunft war einfach fantastisch! Alles war blitzsauber, bestens ausgestattet und genau so, wie wir es uns gewünscht haben. Die Lage war perfekt – etwas abseits der riesigen Touristenhotels, sodass wir unsere Ruhe hatten. Das Frühstück war super lecker, allerdings wurde auf Allergene leider keine Rücksicht genommen. Ein besonderes Dankeschön an Marco, Antonio und Mara – alle drei waren unglaublich herzlich, und Mara hat uns sogar frische Kokosnüsse vorbeigebracht. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Wat een verademing om een Nederlandse gastheer te hebben – zo fijn als je elkaar meteen begrijpt! David voelde haarfijn aan dat ik vooral voor mijn rust kwam. En die vond ik: een royaal zwembad, een eigen keuken om een eitje te bakken, en als kers op de taart – David zelf, die ook nog eens verrukkelijk kookt. Het strand ligt op fijne loopafstand, maar zonder drukte: ideaal voor wie zelf wil bepalen wanneer (en met wie) hij de zee opzoekt. Bij David is het rustig, ruim en ontspannen. Boekje erbij aan het zwembad, of op pad met een van zijn leuke excursietips. Hij spreekt Swahili, houdt van een praatje, en is een geweldige host. Aanrader voor solo-avonturiers zoals ik, maar ook voor verliefde stellen of gezinnen. De villa’s zijn ruim, stijlvol en… tja, je wil eigenlijk niet meer weg.

Communication with host Yussuf was seamless and timely. His responses were clear and concise. He gave us a good discount for our family of 4. The co host pendo was super kind. She checked us in and also took us to the pier restaurant for that much needed dinner by the ocean. She also recommended places to shop at in case we needed to. The caretaker was also polite, present and alert. The place is very clean, quiet and most of all I appreciated the private pool. Thank you Yussuf and Pendo

Fumba Town is a very nice place to stay: close to the beach and not far from Stone Town and the airport. The apartment is very neat and with tasteful furniture and good facilities like a washing machine and vacuum cleaner. An umbrella came in handy too :-) because it was the rainy season. Kwetu kwenu beach club is nearby and chill with amazing sunset views. Highly recommended, the apartment and the town.

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.

The host Janine and Ramia were very responsive, helpful and very friendly! The location is ideal for easy local and private transportation, Stone town and the Darajani souk were 15 min by local tuktuk, supermarket and vegetable stands within walking distance and the place is a well maintained, housekeeper was provided twice weekly. We enjoyed the patio in the evening, and the neighborhood was safe and friendly. We waked to a local beach to see the sunset a few times, it was less than a mile away at Medinat Al Bahar. The hosts had great suggestions for activities and we liked the convenience of being able to prepare meals at home over our 3 week stay! I would recommend this place highly as it was outstanding and the hosts were amazing! I would definitely stay here again!

The stay at Mars place was excellent. The place looked exactly like the images. It was very clean as well which I liked. Mars was a very responsive and helpful host and would highly recommend this place. It is a bit of a distance to get to stone town but if you are in no rush theres several available taxis and tuk tuks you can hire. Thanks Mars.

The villa was absolutely beautiful. It looks much bigger in real life than in the pictures. It’s right next to the beach, making it easy to go for long walks along the shore. There are also many local restaurants nearby. I want to thank Grace ❤️ and the security gentleman for their help and kindness—they truly made my stay special!
