A one of a kind panoramic view of town greets you from our sun lounge , a sitting area where one can unwind looking at the clouds or the daily sunset. The three bedrooms (with three bathrooms) are spacious with wooden beds and six inch mattresses. Tasteful and clean and equipped with electric kettle and televisions .The quiet environment is an added boon for a relaxing and rejuvenating time

My stay at Shillong was absolutely exceptional, largely thanks to the incredible hospitality of Veera! From the moment I arrived, Veera went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable and memorable experience. The house helps Rebecca and Craw were very helpful in providing timely breakfast and all other necessary helps! What truly set this Airbnb apart was the Veera's willingness to help in all possible aspects. Whether it was arranging transportation, offering tips on local culture, suggestions on what restaurants to go or simply being available for a friendly chat, she was always there to assist. Her genuine warmth and helpfulness made me feel truly at home.

Spent 24 days and felt like home. Anne and her breakfasts were lovely, and varied each day, and the dogs were cute. Anne is a great bubbly personality, with many conversations, that we even invited her to our engagement ceremony near the end of the stay. The unit was clean, fresh and cosy, feeling like a little hide away, and will miss her hospitality. There was a bunch of spices etc to use in the kitchen to help aid in meal preparation. Only slight detraction was the noise from loud trucks outside, although the unit is in a side street, so avoids the majority of noise, and hey road noise is like that everywhere in India.

We stayed at this place only one night, that too arrived late, as per NE standard around 6 PM in winter and left early morning around 8 AM. No doubt , the place is very nice , leisurly if you have time on hand .. There is good open space to play games or just seat around and enjoy the natural beauty. Only difficulty we had , as we were not prepared , there is nothing around , no shops no eating places. We appreciate Eric went out of the way and got us dinner and even offered to help us get some basics for morning breakfast. If I make one more tour to Shillong I would definately choose this place , but I would be first stay longer than only one night and also be prepared with basic food material to make myself dinner and Breakfast Thanks Eric for all the efforts and place is beutiful.

We recently stayed at The Hesed House in Cherrapunjee, and it was a delightful experience. The cottage is beautifully done up, offering a cozy and warm ambiance, perfect for a getaway. With four well-appointed bedrooms, it comfortably accommodated our group of 6. One of the standout features was the lovely library, perfect for unwinding with a book after a day of exploring, it would be a great idea to include some board games and jigsaw puzzles for the benefit of ones who’d want to unwind otherwise. The kitchenette along with a nice big dining table was well-equipped, giving us the option to enjoy some light meals in the comfort of the cottage. The fireplace added an extra touch of warmth, making the evenings feel particularly special with superbly made cocktails. We also had the pleasure of trying the local khasi food, which was flavourful and authentic. Tracy, the attendant, was always courteous and greeted us with a warm smile, ensuring that we felt right at home. Thank you.
