Stone and Thistle Farm is an ideal escape from the city or and a perfect destination for any farm-curious animal lover. The private suite is lovely in an idyllic setting surrounded by green rolling hills, populated by a menagerie of farm animals- who you’ll meet and learn about on the farm tour. Denise has a beautiful approach to raising livestock and shares the experience with guests. The bathroom is newly renovated and the bed is remarkably comfortable memory foam. Great restaurants in Oneonta and Delhi are just 20 minutes away. Denise gave us excellent recommendations. We can’t wait to go back.

We simply loved this place. We'd been to Hudson before, but only Blaise's place, on a beautiful peaceful street just a block away from the main commercial street, gave us a sense of how much Hudson has to offer. And the apartment itself was both immaculate and playful: wonderful colors, charming layout, comfortable bed, excellent bathroom. We're big fans, and will return again soon.

I stayed in this apartment for a month and loved it. The location is gorgeous, the apartment is a great size for the price, the hosts are just truly lovely people who made me feel totally welcome. You will hear the ceiling creak when they walk around above you in the main house and the dogs bark, but not alot and the owners are very quick to quiet them down. I slept so well there. I never felt awkward sitting outside admiring the flowers and the trees, even when Sherrill and Clark were going about their yard chores. I loved being greeted when I arrived and sent off when I left. I felt like I truly mattered as a guest and a person. This is what airbnb hospitality should be! Thank you!! I'd stay again and highly recommend.

I had a wonderful stay at this guest house! Molly & Gregg were very welcoming and responsive and greeted me on arrival. The home was beautiful, peaceful, and had everything I needed for a cozy enjoyable stay! I used recommendations from the guidebook for nature walks and dinner and did some exploring of nearby towns. Would love to come back in the future!

If in doubt, just book Dan's place! Lets chat...location could not be better, you can walk down a secret path into downtown Great Barrington in a matter of a few minutes. The apartment is super clean, very comfortable bed and a private porch with seating and a fire pit. Washer/Dryer combo and small very well stocked kitchen. Everything you'll need plus covered parking. Recommend coffee at Fuel, pasties at Patisserie Lenox, lunch at Marjoram + Roux and a fun lively dinner at Prairie Whale! If you have kiddos or love candy, be sure to go by Robin's Candy Shop ( a childhood friend of ours). Great hiking near by and a couple more restaurant recommendations especially if celebrating something special: Inn on the Green, Canita 229 and Gedney Farm in New Marlborough. Apartment is located in daylight basement of owners home. Quiet hours were observed and very peaceful.

Great place to stay in a really cute neighborhood with lots to do within walking distance.

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at Juliana and Paul’s place. The views were SPECTACULAR. The sunset on the patio was our favorite part of our trip. This place is so tranquil, well stocked, cozy, comfy, and clean. Juliana was so sweet and always available. Highly recommend!

Perfect location — it’s directly in the middle of Minnewaska State Park and downtown New Paltz. Stargazing in the hot tub was a perfect way to relax after a long hike.

Sarah and George were wonderful hosts. Their place is so beautiful and quiet, but also a quick drive to many of the main hikes and attractions in the area. They were extremely communicative and gave us suggestions for great places to eat and hike. We will definitely be coming back again!

It was a wonderful stay in such a cute town! We really appreciated the fact that it was pet friendly! My boyfriend especially loved the shampoo and conditioner that was in the shower- he said it smelled incredible. Also, the bed was incredibly comfortable. The power ended up going out (while we were at the wedding reception!) and Susanne was proactive and reached out to make sure we were okay and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back and would love to stay again when the time comes!

A beautiful mid century (my favorite) overlooking the Hudson River and Poughkeepsie. Quiet and serene with nature all around. Saw multiple deer which was a treat. A gem which gave this Minnesotan a true feel of why “upstate NY” is known for its beauty.

Lalena and her husband were wonderful hosts and made us feel right at home. She was very responsive and helpful. The suite had everything we needed for the weekend and was exactly as described. We appreciated the list of local recommendations, there were plenty of things to do at a walkable distance! Thank you again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location is simply unbeatable — the backyard overlooks a peaceful creek, and waking up to the soothing sounds of the water was truly magical. It’s one of the most serene and picturesque settings we’ve ever experienced. The hosts were equally wonderful. They were incredibly friendly, proactive, and communicative throughout our stay. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our visit special — they went above and beyond to create a warm, personal experience for us. Lovely home-away-from home while I was on a business trip. Olesya was so communicative and helpful! And the bathroom was the most amazing ever, even has heated floors! 100% recommend staying here!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved staying here for Memorial Day weekend! The space was such an amazing home base for our adventures and was very relaxing. There are stunning views of the mountains, Margaret’s garden, and surrounding woods. The art inside is breathtaking, especially Margaret’s husband Peter’s paintings. You can tell that the home is really cared for by Margaret and is full of love. Her personality is super sweet and she is extremely communicative, making sure we got in safe and would leave the driveway light on for us each night. Margaret is an extremely caring host who made our stay very comfortable and relaxing. We are hoping to come back very soon!

The suite was very clean and spacious. It had a large room with TV seating area, two queen beds, an updated bathroom, washer/dryer and an eat-in kitchen with burners, microwave, air fryer and frig. The location was great for us with our family in Red Hook. Anthony was very friendly and communicative.

Liz’s Airbnb was incredibly accommodating, with flexible check-in and check-out that made our stay stress-free. The space was thoughtfully curated with charming details and a generous selection of snacks. We especially appreciated the complimentary yoga, which added a relaxing touch to our visit. Being right next to Wildflower Auberge was a huge plus and made the location even more ideal.

Adam’s place was exactly as described. It was stylish yet comfortable and close to town which made getting around easy. 100% would recommend staying here over a hotel.

Very clean place to stay, in the middle of nowhere to be disconnected. We liked the location near lake Minnewaska and it had plenty of good restaurants nearby. Great value for the stay, I would stay again if I'm visiting Accord again!

Great place to stay with amazing view! Wish I had more time to take one of the yoga classes offered in the studio upstair. Theresa was very responsive and provided helpful tips and local recommendation well ahead so I didn't have to do research :)

Stayed a night at Kathleen’s lovely apartment in Hudson with my husband and 2 kids while we were in town for our niece’s graduation from Bard. After a cold and wet ceremony, her apartment was an absolutely wonderful rest for us. The view of the river below is ideal and she made our stay especially lovely with drinks that the kids adored, chocolates, yummy coffee, and wonderful smelling shower amenities. We left feeling rested and happy. Thank you Kathleen!

Joseph was always responsive and very accommodating when I had an issue arise. He was willing to work with me on any questions or requests I had (I did a long term stay at his place). The house was very clean. I highly recommend!
