And he arranged for such a comfortable transport for us from Ella to udawalawe & udawalawe to talalla. The safari arranged was also very good. Pick up was from the hotel itself !! The staff were also very very sweet and helpful. The place is quiet with many fruit trees. All you can hear is the birds chirping ! My daughter loved the star fruit tree, she loved plucking and eating it ! There is a decent restaurant near by named Ice berg, incase you want to go for dinner. The staff there arrange a Tuk Tuk for us . He dropped us to the restaurant which was a 5min ride, waited till we were done and dropped us back. The breakfast spread was good too! They served us hoppers, coconut sambol (which was yumm), eggs, fresh juices, toast! Overall the stay was vvv comfortable and relaxing and totally worth the price !! The food was wonderful & it's a fantastic spot to base yourself if you are going on safari. They have the most wonderful garden with black pepper, vanilla, cinnamon, ginger & coffee growing. It was really fascinating to see the exotic spices they grow & they care so much about it. The place is kept so tidy as well. It is superb value and exceeded our expectations.
