Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ucluelet

We had such a nice stay at First Light. Home was very clean and so charming and the view is stunning. Our teens loved the hot tub and sauna. We loved looking for wildlife - lots of bald eagles. I loved being able to walk to downtown Tofino, would love to go back. Erika couldn’t have been nicer or more welcoming. We were really impressed with all the thoughtful details- there was fruit and chocolate for us as a welcome when we checked in. The home is vintage and I hope the 1970s original features will remain. The cedar walls and ceiling and vintage kitchen cabinets and light fixtures are amazing!

Best airbnb I've stayed in as far as decor, amenities and supplies go - very well stocked, beautiful spot. Tons of room for two couples, lots of dishes and best-stocked kitchen ever, hose to rinse wet suits and hooks to hang them, great BBQ and lots of options for lounging. Views of the mountains and a quick walk to all the shops and restaurants made this a perfect base for our four days of surfing and dining. Service was outstanding all around. The rooms were very well arranged, bathrooms modern and roomy - with heated floors! I would absolutely recommend folks stay here.

Spent 5 nights here in May 2025. Located in a beautiful spot with easy access to a beautiful hike along the water. The view from the hot tub is stellar. Lots of thoughtful amenities in the kitchen. We felt right at home! Bryan was friendly, had amazing local recommendations and was very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing place to stay in ucluelet! It’s perfect for groups and family

We loved the Birds Nest for our family trip. We cooked in one night in well equipped kitchen and loved the sun room for movie night. The use of wetsuits and surfboards was a huge bonus. Kate was super responsive when we could not figure out the thermostat. We would book again if heading to Tofino

Great place to stay in central Tofino. Can walk to pretty much everywhere. House is very new, bright, tidy and comfortable (especially the beds and hot tub!) per photos on Airbnb. Brenna provided lot of info on how to enjoy the area and clear check in and check instructions. Will be recommending to friends and family considering a visit to Tofino.

10/10 would escape reality here again. We soaked in the hot tub like blissed-out sea otters, roasted s’mores like it was a competitive sport, and devoured a 3-course meal that somehow nailed it for both a carnivore and a vegan. Great Wi-Fi, so we could post it all in real-time while pretending to unplug. Pure magic. Highly recommend.

One of the best, if not best accommodation we booked on Vancouver island. We felt so at home. It’s such a light, open house with great character and the views are spectacular! Jo and John were really friendly and helped us with any queries quickly. The house is very well equipped and we enjoyed the hammock upstairs a lot as well. Would highly recommend staying here.

Me and my family stayed for 11 days at Collin’s beautiful apartment and we loved each moment there. Spacious, modern and very clean house with scenic views, close to beach, trails and town’s center and equipped with everything you might need even for a longer stay. There are even puzzles, cards and board games for some quality family time after a busy day. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets from our patio and my son was thrilled to see deers visiting us each morning. This apartment is unique as it is a corner one, which means more privacy. It is also very convenient if you have a lot of luggage as there are no stairs. Collin was an amazing host, always replying very fast. We cannot wait to book this place for our next vacation in Ukee.

So happy to have found Heather and Dan’s spot - it was the perfect place for our 4 nt stay in the Ucluelet/Tofino area! The space was comfortable, clean, cozy, and well appointed and thoughtfully designed. It’s a quick bike ride or drive to Ucluelet, and a nice 15ish minute walk to the Ucluelet Lighthouse Loop trail. Gorgeous spot just a minutes away from Mackenzie beach. The unit was huge, comfy, cozy and peaceful. It was great!

Such a great stay! It was honestly better than I expected - and I knew from all the reviews it would be good! The kitchen was fully stocked with spices, oils, small appliances, pans, bbq, lots of dishes and cutlery - which was perfect because we prepared most of our meals there. The place was spotless and smelled amazing when we arrived. The beds and couch were comfortable, and there was lots of extra pillows and blankets. The big bath tub was really nice to have for our toddler to take a bath every night. And the heated bathroom floors were such a nice touch! Host was responsive and helpful (we ran out of propane the first night on the bbq but she had an extra one waiting and ready!) The location was perfect, a short walk to Chesterman beach. It was a quiet location, close to town but we felt like we were tucked away up in the trees. Planning our next trip so we can stay again :)

Great hosts and terrific property. Clean, well appointed accommodation, comfortably sleeping 4 adults. So easy to find, it is also across from the community sports field,so a great area to play football/softball etc or to spectate at local gatherings. My 1 piece of advice - the images for the property DO NOT do it justice. So don't debate, get it booked👍

Connor was easy to communicate with and his condo is fabulous. The views are spectacular and the interior is spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed is very comfortable too. We loved the location on the water and having our meals on the balcony where we spotted sea lions and deer! We would love to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Great location for all of Tofinos attractions. Apartment had everything we needed for a couple of nights with a great view from the balcony. Celina was quick to respond to all queries. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was just perfect, great location in Ucluelet, the apartment was super cozy, clean and provided beyond everything we needed. Check in and the communication with Rino were easy, he was an amazing host. I highly recommend Tom's Retreat!

We loved our stay here. The place was beautiful and was a fantastic location - close to the centre of Tofino but on the water with beautiful views! Kyle was super helpful and very responsive if we had any questions! Couldn’t recommend more!

Beautiful condo, beautiful town of Ucluelet! Perfect location. Had a fabulous dinner at Pluvio, went fishing with Captain Dean Robin of Peninsula Charters (caught salmon, lingcod, rockfish). If you have an opportunity to stay at Laura’s condo, please do so, you will leave wanting to come back like we were.

Absolutely incredible host. Went above and beyond for us. Very responsive when needed and very accommodating. Such a beautiful stay. The place was gorgeous and truly a dream for my partner and I. We had the sweetest time. Was the perfect place to get away from it all. The stay was heaven and a dream all-in-one.

Mark’s place is stunning and has everything you could need when staying away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. The amount of space you get is perfect for a group of people. We never tired of looking at the views from the the balcony. Mark is a great host and we’d love to stay in his place again in the future.
