Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Twin Lakes

I had a great stay here with my daighter and german shepherd. It was great to have the beach all to ourselves every morning by walking just a block over. The house was beautiful, comfortable, and the greenery outside was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

As mentioned by others, the place is super comfortable, has a lot of amenities and is super close to the boardwalk and the downtown area. However, what really stood out to us was the host’s hospitality. They were super accommodating when we mentioned we’d be getting to Santa Cruz a little early and if we could use the bikes to go cruise around in the meantime. We only stayed for one night, but were able to enjoy a full day of fun because of that. We rode to Brommer park, played pickleball, went back to check in, headed out to eat, walked around and then went back to enjoy the spa and ping pong table. The whole house was spacious and the beds were super comfortable. Definitely recommend David’s place.

Great place for weekend getaway with friends! Multiple spaces can be used for different activities, breakfast nook for eating, upstairs for board games, and outside for hanging out in the evening and using the hot tub. Super close to a beach as well as a few restaurants. Place was clean and had everything that we needed! Host was super responsive and proactive. Would come back!

We had a wonderful time during our recent stay at Sean's place. The house is so spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We especially loved the large kitchen; it never felt crowded, even with a few of us in there at once. We also really appreciated how well-equipped the kitchen was with all the pots, pans, plates, and other essentials we needed. Our kids absolutely adored the pool area! It was beautiful and private, and they had so much fun with the basketball hoop. They also loved watching the hummingbirds at the backyard water fountain and the rabbits hopping around in the garden. Overall, we had an amazing stay. Thanks for hosting us!

My family and I spent a fantastic week at Jackie's house. Sunny, comfy, and well-equipped with everything visitors might need, the house is a perfect spot to start and end a day of exploring beautiful Santa Cruz. We hope to return!

Our stay was wonderful. Our two girls especially did not want to leave. Everything was so comfortable and clean, we loved the toys and books, and the projector set up. The architecture and remodeling was beautiful. Appreciate the lack of tacky artwork on the walls. Tracie and Dave were such generous hosts. Hope to be back, thank you!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Myra's place was very clean and really cozy. It's located in a very quiet neighborhood, but still just a short drive to lots of beaches and things to do in all directions. There is no shortage of great restaurants and food in the area, and there's plenty to see and do. Myra was quick to respond to my questions, and David met us at the apartment on arrival to make sure we got in and had everything we needed. Getting in was super easy, and we had a great stay. I just want to thank you so much for letting us stay at your beautiful place. My family didn’t want to leave. It was so helpful having the beach cart , toys, and beach towels!! It was an easy walk to the beach, great food, and amazing coffee. The place was very thoughtfully laid out and very clean. The check-in was seamless and was always easy to get in and out of the home. Thank you again and I can’t wait to stay here again hopefully sooner rather than later!!

Hanna’s place was absolutely charming. Loved the interior decorations and the place was very clean. It’s located right in the center of downtown San Jose, there is guarded parking and 24 hour security. I would visit again.

I cannot say enough, this place was amazing! It was cute, clean, great location. The host(s) were also amazing, very communicative, proactive, and made everything easy. We booked last minute, day of, and it was still super easy. Everything was as it said it was. Would definitely stay here again!

Suzy’s place was perfect! I was in town for a wedding held at Shadowbrook and Suzy’s place was within walking distance to not only the restaurant but also all the spots in the village. Suzy was super responsive and worked with me. Even though I wasn’t able to check in early, we worked it out so that I could at least park in the designated parking spot so that we could walk around town while things were being cleaned. The place was super safe and private. I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in town!

Cecilia is a wonderful host, she is very responsive and incredibly helpful. The room is excellent, the bed is very comfortable and the laundry room access is perfect for a longer stay. The gated parking is a great plus and the surrounding area is easy to walk around and explore. I would definitely stay here again!

This is a beautiful place to stay in an old growth redwood forest adjacent to Cowel State Park. A little out of the way but very peaceful. Michael greeted us personally and made gave us a tour. I would go back.

Wife and I needed a little get away and this was a perfect location. Parked and didnt use our vehicle for our 2 day stay. The beach is across the street (can hear the waves) and the restaurants/bars and stores were all in walking distance. I had a couple of questions and Evan responded quickly. Would stay again.

This stay is absolutely amazing. Comfy bed and furniture. Stocked Kitchen. Steps to the beach. Closet full of beachy things. We had fun flying the kite. Built bonfires just over the dune on the beach. 🏖️ Don’t hesitate to book. This place is it.

Everything was just as described - kitchen was well stocked and had the staples which I appreciated - plenty of coffee too! Beach location was wonderful - 5 out of 5!

We’ve stayed at Pajaro Dunes before, but it’s been decades ago. Marc’s place was perfectly situated for privacy and views and was very clean and well appointed. The peacefulness and serenity were exactly what we were looking for. The beachy feel of the furnishings was charming and the unit included all that we needed including an upgraded and well furnished kitchen, a gas fireplace, a comfortable, king size bed and other essentials like extra blankets and a Kuerig coffee maker. Our only difficulty was when inadvertently trying to use the TV remote to change channels…Don’t Do That, Use the cable remote like it says in the instructions. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable four days here with side trips to Monterey and Carmel. Perfect home base for dining out and exploring the coast, and an excellent, proactive host.

It’s gets better every time I stay here! Really enjoyed the patio with the new fire pit. Memories are always made and seeing the smiles from my kids being in a happy place makes it all worth it. Thank you again for lending us your home for the weekend and we’ll be back as usual.

Jennifer’s Capitola Breeze (Unit B) is perfect for family gatherings and vacations. Absolutely convenient location for walking downtown, shopping, restaurants and beach access. Convenient garage parking. Condo includes amenities in every room. Jennifer (Host) provided detailed instructions and information that made us feel at home. She was responsive to any questions we had throughout our stay. Definitely a gem of a place to stay!!

Location was amazing! The walk to the beach was awesome. Super quick and beautiful, we went to the beach every day for sunrises and sunsets. Check in and check out was easy. Would definitely stay here again!

This was our second stay at Harbor House and it was just as great as we remembered it to be. Super easy check-in starts your stay on the right track. Perfect location, great parking, amazing view, friendly neighbors, amazing outdoor space and well-equipped kitchen and beach supplies make this better than most other properties. We will always return when visiting Santa Cruz.

Thank you so much Rhea for allowing my family to enjoy this gem! The reviews spoke about the views but wow, incredible! You can literally see up the coast line on both sides. The condo was clean, had enough to accommodate a family of five! We were able to cook our meals every night without a problem. The pool is just a few steps up which my youngest definitely appreciated. We are already missing waking up to the sounds of the ocean! If we’re ever in the area we would be so lucky to book this place again.
