We had a great stay and experience, from check in to check out. Isabel was very responsive to our questions and concerns (power outages in Ecuador), and made us feel comfortable that everything was going to be ok.the place is beautiful, cozy, and the views were incredible (we woke up with a beautiful view of Cayambe volcano). Cristina and Carmen helped us and made our lives so much easier. The whole family loved the experience. Highly recommended!

This is a truly amazing place to stay if you’re travelling North from Quito, maybe en route to Otavalo, but try to stay at least 2 nights as there are so many beautiful corners of the house and grounds to enjoy. Nataly and her family made everything super easy and comfortable for us, welcoming our group of 8 into their traditional country-house home. We loved the games room, living areas and outside dining room, as well as the walks around the gardens and an evening bonfire. Quinta San Joaquín is a real gem.

The place and it’s surroundings are very beautiful, the view to the lake is stunning. These was our second stay at Ushaloma and the cabins are always clean and have all the amenities to make you feel like at home. I have only 2 issues this time around in this particular cabin it said there was a wood burner, we were very disappointed to find out it was a fan heater that mimics a wood burner. And the second thing is you need to bring earplugs because at night the parties from the town or houses around the area can get loud and you will hear it in your bedroom at night. Apart from that the rest of our stay was lovely and we had nice weather.

We had a wonderful weekend as a family with three daughters. The house is beautiful, very spacious, impeccably clean and also tastefully decorated. It has everything one needs. Everything is arranged in a very private way and with a lot of affection. In addition, it is located in a spectacular place, with a breathtaking view of the entire valley and lagoon. And that can be enjoyed from the jacuzzi, the hammock or while having a barbecue! Wonderful! Communication was excellent and all our additional wishes or needs were met immediately. Thank you so much, Diego, for this special time and for the trust in allowing us to enjoy this private paradise!
