“Staying at Ujitei was completely extraordinary. The best experience I have ever had on Airbnb. We were treated with such exceptional kindness and generosity by Taeka, who met us at the station, helped us settle in and the following day drove us for lunch to an amazing restaurant in the woods, Mitaki-en, where we got to enjoy chatting and laughing over an incredible lunch. We felt like honoured family friends. The house itself is inspiring, filled with sculptures and other works of art made by the family and equipped with beautiful Japanese dishes. We loved opening the door in the morning to see such a glorious mountain panorama and enjoyed riding the two bikes into the nearby town of Kamo, although we didn’t quite make it to the camping ground! Thank you more than we can say Taeka and Toshi. You showed us a lot about human connection and we hope to see you again.”

“Very small historical place, quiet and tidy, perfect for people who like to take a walk in the fields. You can walk to Bizhong Castle for an hour or pass several ancient shrines. The library + 茑 屋 书店 is even more unique. People who like to travel slowly can find very rich books there. Edwin and Ginga are very hospitable and have their own coffee shop for dining. I had a great stay and enjoyed quite much of the peaceful historical town. And the house is surrounded by nature and small alleys of old houses, it's fun to walk around.”
As a measure against coronavirus, we are fumigating the room with ozone. In addition, we are striving for hygiene management by disinfecting with alcohol and hypochlorous water. Please rest assured. Takashimaya, Aeon, Don Quixote, restaurants, library and Nishikawa Midori Park are also nearby. Please use for short-term travel, short-term Okayama living, business trips, commuting to school, etc. We will keep your luggage after hours such as before check-in and after check-out. For cars, there is a paid car park nearby (explained). If you have a motorcycle or a light four-wheeled vehicle, you may be able to stop at our corner for free, so please contact us (pm6 ~ am7).
“The bed and breakfast is very close to Okayama Station. It can be taken from the exit of Takashimaya. It is less than three minutes walk to the bed and breakfast, which is very convenient. The homestay is located on the third floor, there is no elevator and you need to carry your own luggage. The house is bigger than the picture looks. This time four people stayed, two beds in each of the two rooms, and there was room to open a suitcase next to it. Great house. The only drawback is that the house is located in the downtown area of Okayama. There will be noisy noise from alcoholic guests at night, which will last until more than 11pm.”
