Life is better on the summit! 1 mile from the entrance to Sierra at Tahoe Ski Resort. Sitting on an acre of natural meadow and marsh land, the property includes the American River headwaters. Enjoy our remodeled interior w/ fireplace and rear deck with hot tub & fire pit. In the winter, we get a lot more snow than in the basin. Typically 15 min to the Y and 25 min to Stateline. Note the cabin is *on* Hwy 50 (some road noise) and is not "in town". This gets you closer to Sac and Sierra at Tahoe.

This cozy, mid-century style home is right on the river on a calm stretch just below Marshall Gold Discovery Park. Walk down the stairs from the deck and splash in the river! You’ll love our place because you can sit inside or in bed and watch the river flow by. It's a peaceful place, new and modern, private and the middle of it all.
