Beachfront vacation rentals in Truckee

This place is awesome. Easy walk to a private beach with huge pier on the lake. Tahoe House is an amazing cafe, and a 3 minute walk. The house was clean, back yard was so awesome for the dogs, and the hot tub well kept. Kitchen has everything you need, including a nice espresso machine for homemade lattes to enjoy on the deck. Cant recommend this place enough.

My family and I had the MOST relaxing stay here. We didn’t leave the house! The views from the house were just so breathtaking. And the house itself felt so homey. We had everything we needed. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Great location/setting on the water. Nice grassy area w/seating above the beach. Its an easy property to immediately feel comfortable in: Kitchen was straight forward to work in and the dinning and living rooms were spacious & relaxed w/nice views. Heater worked well and quietly. Bedrooms were comfortable and quiet. 5 minutes to Tahoe City (south) and 5 minutes to Cornelian Bay - lots of beaches and parks near by.

This was a great place. I stayed here for 4 nights and was just at peace with the endless view of pine trees in the backyard and lake view from the road ahead by the front of the house. Close to lake, ski/board and groceries and restaurents. 10/10 recommend to anyone. Our dog loved it too!

Clean and comfortable, centrally located and the views are beautiful. We enjoyed the safe and secure parking so close to the unit. This was the perfect home for our group, we had a great stay!

Very cozy place to stay. Fireplace is a plus on the cold weather. The hotel is peaceful and the pier is a great place to see the sunset. There’s a lot of restaurants close by. The room is super clean, linens are good quality and it has a full kitchen. Mark left everything explained before the check in. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay! We had a peaceful afternoon on the back porch enjoying views of the lake. We did have some trouble initially with the front door (hint: turn the key to the right more than you think you need to while you open the door), but everything else was easy breezy.

This was our favorite stay on our vacation. Wished we stayed longer. We felt like home and had everything we needed. And the location was perfect as well.

Great place for skiing at Palisades

Loved the area - it’s right off of Lake Tahoe and during the wintertime, the lake was amazing during sunset. Location is decently close to a couple of big resorts and the overall space was pretty roomy. Place is two floors and could probably fit two couples.

The home was amazing. The decor was simple. The beds were cozy. The kitchen had everything we needed, including coffee filters which I forgot to bring. Everything was nice, clean and organized. There was a grocery store right across the street which was the ultimate convenience for me. My favorite was being right by the waterfront.

We had such a great time here! My kids absolutely loved everything, from swimming in the pool and relaxing in the hot tub to spending time at the private beach. There were also lots of walkable spots nearby, which made exploring easy and fun. One of their favorite parts was sitting by the fire in the evenings. It was the perfect family getaway!

We had an incredible experience staying at Marie's place! From the moment we booked, her communication was prompt and friendly, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The accommodation was not just as described but even better in person - clean, cozy, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We cannot recommend Marie highly enough! Great place and location for long weekend!!!

Absolutely perfect place to stay. Wonderful for a small group of friends or family. Very comfortable space with room for everyone. Great amenities and wasn’t busy at all considering it was a holiday weekend. Only thing is that the TV did not have access to internet so only option was cable. But that was literally the only downside to the stay. 10/10 will return

Walking to lake front but not sandy beaches (those are just a short drive). Clean and quiet place. They added additional towels since we were 4 guests. Note, the bed in the other room is a double bed (as described in the listing), which is a full size bed smaller than queen. Worked for us, but something to keep in mind. It creaks just a bit when you get in / get up. Kitchen was well stocked with basics -- oil, salt, spices, utensils etc. Bedding was ample and comfortable. We went when it was cool, the heater worked well. Some things that could improve: we found soap/shampoo in the closet, but may be provide conditioner and lotion as well, this seems to be a standard in airbnbs. I generally carry some when traveling so this wasn't an issue for us.

We asked to book Jason’s facility at the last minute, literally late in the evening the day before our arrival. Jason was quick to respond and got us processed quickly! The facility, Hilton Grand Vacation Resort, was awesome. We had a seamless check-in the next day! The staff were more than helpful, and the facility was stellar! Our two bedroom suite was large, comfortable, and quite clean! It was also set up perfectly for our needs. The unit is set up as a one bedroom with full kitchen, living room, bathroom. The entry off the hall takes you into a small foyer area with two doors. One leading into the first bedroom above, and the second door has access into a second mini suite with bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. Perfect for two couples, and perfect for our needs! Jason was a 5-Star host with an excellent facility! 👍👍

We had the best stay! The location and the amenities of this home were perfect for our group. We were able to walk to the beach, Heavenly Village, casinos, etc. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed as well. Esther & Norm were GREAT hosts. Easy to work with, informative, responsive, fair, and friendly. Highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking to stay in South Lake Tahoe. I will be back!

Had a great stay at Cynthia’s place! The room was cozy to stay in and it was very close to the lake. Hope to come back again! The hot tubs and fire pits were great too!
