Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Troutman

We had a wonderful stay from May 20- May 25, 2025. Everything was just like the pictures promised. The sunroom & back porch with the rockers were great additions. Location was convenient to our family in Hickory, NC. Hopefully we will be able to stay there whenever we come to NC.

Spent a weekend away with friends - 4 adults and 4 kids. This house was perfect! Kitchen had everything you need to cook, and bedrooms were great for adults and kids. The dock area was awesome - the kids fished off the dock and we all enjoyed floating/relaxing in the water! The evening sunset views are incredible. Would for sure stay here again!

Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The house had everything we needed and was clean and cozy. I would definitely rent from Angela again.

I really can't express how perfect this place was for us! I booked it for Thanksgiving to get our scattered family together. The house is amazing with two living room spaces, two dining spaces and plenty of bedrooms for all of us. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed a little fishing and kayaking. The large dining room made it possible to seat everyone at one table for Thanksgiving dinner. One of the neighbors even saved Thanksgiving by sharing the forgotten spices for pumpkin pie!There is a strong possibility that we will be back next year to do it all again. The place was beautifully decorated and clean, the location was gorgeous and peaceful. We loved the views! The beds were comfy and it was very clean.

Gerardo was fantastic from the moment we booked!! Always very responsive and the house felt like we were right at home. Very clean and had all basic necessities!! We would definitely book for family coming in out of town again!!! Thank you for such an amazing stay.

The space was great, host was flexible with me needing to check out earlier than I had originally scheduled. I would definitely recommend this space. Wasn’t over priced at all.

Wow, what a location right by the lake! We absolutely loved this accommodation. its tastefully decorated, calm, peaceful and private. the living space is sociable and the front porch allows you to enjoy the view of the lake, the birds and just the wonderful peaceful atmosphere. there are kyaks and paddle boards and a beautiful dining area on the jetty. Comfortable beds, pretty linen, great bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen make it feel top end. Clearly this place is loved by the owner and we recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil stay. we came to Charlotte for the Speedway but we're so happy we got out of town to explore the countryside and enjoy Lake Norman. Downtown Moorseville is about 20 mins away and was a lovely place for a bit if shopping and some nice coffee ☕️ Thank you Patricia. we highly recommend your beautiful place at Tranquility Cove x

Wonderful cozy stay . Everything was as advertised! Fishing on the lake was my favorite part.

Loch Norm Lair is beautiful and relaxing. Great neighborhood. Just the peaceful week we needed. Rick and Judy are extremely friendly. Rick loves to share his boat and will take you for a ride. We sat and talked with them on several occasions and shared a dinner at a restaurant. The place is well cared for and a great deal, very reasonable pricing. It was a shame the sailboat wasn't working, would have loved a ride. We are already talking about a return trip in warmer weather to fully enjoy the water. Thank you so much for the beautiful week. We really enjoyed our stay at Lakefront Serenity. The view was beautiful, house cozy, and loved the friendly cats! ❤️ We felt right at home and had everything we needed. The pedal boat was fun, too.

Highly recommend! Quinsia was a great host, communicated check in details, checked in the next day to make sure we were doing well, very attentive! Everything was very clean and comfortable. Perfect location to walk to events in uptown! Would return if we are in Charlotte in the future.

Great place beautiful property

This airbnb is only 4 miles away from The Barn at Blue Sky Farm which is why I chose it to stay while attending a family wedding at that location. It is clean and very peaceful. Church bells play faintly off in the distance mid morning. Full kitchen with oven, stove and full sized fridge for anyone that wants to cook any meals. The guest is able to turn on either AC or heat and set the temperature. With the weather in the 70s during my stay I found AC in the late afternoon kept it comfortable and having the window and doors open earlier in the day rather than AC was best. I didn't meet the hosts, but it was easy to access the unit on my own. As parking is under the large deck, the car stays shaded and cool. There is a nice clothing rack and hangers to hang up your formal wear if you are a wedding guest! I'm really glad I chose this location to stay at for the wedding and would recommend it.

A Perfect Lake Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin on the lake, and I can’t recommend it enough! The cabin was incredibly clean and well-maintained, providing a cozy and inviting atmosphere for our stay. The peaceful surroundings made for a truly relaxing experience. Brooke was an amazing host, making the check-in process seamless with clear and easy instructions. He was also very responsive and attentive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable. Additionally, we loved exploring the nearby downtown Belmont, where we discovered some fantastic restaurants. It was the perfect combination of nature and great dining. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with a beautiful view and wonderful hospitality, this cabin is the place to be! We can't wait to return!

We had a blast at Lynne’s place! It is such a cozy home with fantastic Lake access. Very private and felt right at home immediately!

We had a wonderful stay - peaceful, quiet and incredibly comfortable. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated and full of calming touches that made it easy to relax. The beds were very comfortable, and I slept deeply every night. The surrounding are was beautifully quiet, offering the perfect escape from the noise of daily life. Samantha, the host, was responsive and respectful. Everything was seamless from check-in to check-out. This stay was what we needed! Highly recommend for anyone seeking rest and tranquility.

This place was an unexpected surprise as to how nice it was. It was perfect for four women going to Merlefest. It was 9 miles away from the festival which was not a big deal for driving back and forth. It was also a welcome get away from the crowds as it is on a mountain with a great view and is pretty remote but not remote enough to be a driving burden. It was exquistely clean. Darren was available within minutes for any questions. The deck was perfect for coffee drinking and visiting in the mornings before facing the crowds. All in all, a great place to stay. The only disadvantage is that the road is kind of rough going up and there are many ruts to avoid. I assume that the neighbors, etal , HOA or whomever will grade the road in the near future.. I know it is hard to maintain a gravel road as we have a lakehouse on a grave road... so I think it will probably be improved soon...

everything was as they described it. there were universal setbacks that were out of their control. however they responded immediately and professionally in resolving everything with us. highly recommended.

We loved it here. Our favorite is the back deck and the view. The kids loved the play room also. It is a great location to go swimming at the lake.

Great little lakeside gem. My kids didn’t want to leave, they loved the lake, catching fish, looking for toads, having s’mores at the campfire and exploring. The place is quaint, peaceful, clean, and relaxing. The only constructive feedback would be the shower is small and had little water pressure . This would not hold us back from renting again though.

WOW! What and absolutely beautiful location, the property is pristine. The cabin has everything you would ever need and we felt right at home and were able to relax! Would love to stay again in the future, highly recommend.
