Cabin vacation rentals in Tromsø

The cabins are beautifully located right on the sea front, the island is stunning and its so so quiet, it is impossible to describe how peaceful it feels, I absolutely loved the fresh snow each morning like a blank canvas to start each day. We used the hot tub 2 nights and had the northern lights dancing overhead due to the amazing location which is ultimately what we went for. The cabin was warm, well equipped, clean and well kept, the beds were comfortable, and everyone slept well. The cabin was plenty big enough for 6 adults. Maria was super responsive and even popped round when we couldn’t get the hob to work which she fixed, she was also very helpful with where to go walking on the island and lent us spikes for our shoes. The shop is well stocked and we managed to get most things we needed for the weekend we stayed. The only limitations are the ferry’s to and from the island and the bus service to the ferry terminal but that adds to the quiet and isolation in this amazing place

Super place and great location

Absolutely stunning location - we didn’t want to leave!… The cabin is super cosy, warm with lots of space. Really great place to relax and unwind and appreciate the gorgeous surroundings. The cabin was spotless with traditional decor and the facilities at the cabin were great (for a couple or a family) Yngve was the perfect host - always a quick response and happy to help with anything. He sent perfect instructions. It was really easy to find the cabin (40 minutes from Tromso centre) and check-in was a breeze. Yngve also helped with great recommendations of places to visit and restaurants etc We felt very safe, warm and welcome. The absolute cherry on top was the hot tub - fabulous under the stars and trees!! We would go back in a heart beat Love this place

A gem! Marius built with his hands a nest that was both clean and cozy. 30 minutes from the airport and 45 minutes from Tromsø, convenient for a stay in nature, away from the light pollution to catch the northern lights. A haven of peace finally quite easy to access by public transport, anticipating a little of the activities. Marius is very kind, responsive and helpful. It feels like he's put all his heart into his cottage! Special mention to the magical Northern Lights shows from the hot tub! Enchanter!!

I live in Tromsø but a friend and I just wanted to get out of town for the night. Really great and relaxing set up at this location. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay near Tromsø but not in the city itself. I think we will be back for a few more weekend getaways.

An absolutely successful stay in Norway. Very friendly and uncomplicated communication from start to finish. We felt completely comfortable. The house is a dream to unplug. Quiet location with a great view. Sauna, hot tub or a cozy fire in the fireplace help with this. We did not miss anything in the house. We would come back any time, it was really great. Thank you for everything.

Everything super! For skiing the real mountains of lyngen - there is no better place! Wood fired Sauna and hot tube, what can ask more!

The cabin was perfect to calm down and to watch the northern lights. It has really everthing you need (besides Wifi, but wasn‘t necessary for us) and it was so cozy. We really enjoyed our stay there and would definetely come back! Svein is a perfect host! He provided lot of information and was really helpful (we had some issues with getting a rental car in Tromsø). Couldn‘t have been better! Thank you so much for hosting us 🥰

Loved the cottage. Took a bit to crack the code on water, toilet, sauna etc.. It is important to read the instructions to be prepared 😇 The house and surrounding are lovely. Used it as a base to do ski touring and cross-country skiing in and around Tromsö. Stayed with 4 adults. Would definitely recommend and come again.

We had a fantastic time here! The cabin was gorgeous and perfect location for exploring ! With some lovely hikes right on the doorstep! There was everything you needed in the cabin, and the sauna was a big bonus, it got used most days! You do need a car as there isn't anything local, which was perfect for us, as we wanted a peaceful, relaxing holiday! Would highly recommend and already planning on coming back one day! Really great cabin its much better than photos, very comfortable and well equipped. The views are amazing beautiful mountains and fjord views, and i was surprised that there were a powerful and amazing waterfall right next to the cabin. The cabin location is the best location, here you can start the best epic hikes in the area, also if you need the center of Tromso its a very short drive. Rita is an amazing host it was a pleasure meeting her, she was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I wish i could stayed more and i will definitely visit again.

The cabin is amazing and so is the host Øystein, he even came and met us at our car and helped with snowshoes and a sled for our bags. The location is beautiful and perfect if you love nature!

Helene's cabin is very beautifully located with great views over the fjord. We stayed there to go skitouring and it's a great location to access lots of routes nearby. The cabin is very cosy and we felt right at home. It's spacious enough for three people, with space to cook and hang out in front of the fire place.

I’m slightly scared writing this view because I fear this hidden gem will get discovered and I won’t be able to book it any more. This place is stunning. If you want time to reflect and heal I can’t think of anywhere better. Beautiful. Thank yiu

Couldn’t have wished for a better place!! Stayed here for a week with family and found it just magical. The cabin itself was a little cluttered but spacious enough and provided everything you could need for the week. The private balcony and outdoor area was what made this trip though. The views were seriously breathtaking and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from our sofa 3 nights in a row!! We travelled to Tromso daily for trips / groceries in our hire car taking 50mins each way, but we agreed this was definitely the way to do it if you want to experience nor way at its best. Loved it!!!

Loved staying at Kathrine’s cabin. Very comfortable and homely. Everything you need and so much to do in the surrounding mountains.

Great Hosts, great accommodation! Only thing to keep in mind is that with an EV the next charging station is about half an hour away.

We spent two very pleasant nights at Trine and Stine's place. The location is perfect for relaxing and fishing. We were also able to use the sauna and hot tub for a fee. Especially the sauna with the view of the fjord was a special experience for us. Unfortunately, we did not find the folding sofa (only sleeping option) so comfortable, but these sofas have that on them. We would definitely come again on our next visit.
