Had an amazing time at Heidi’s place. She is very friendly and we felt so comfortable. She even allowed us to check in really early, which was amazing. The location was perfect for us, with amazing views and peaceful. I highly recommend her place to anyone who is looking forward to a comfortable and great stay.

The property is very nice, located a little far from the city center, but there is a bus stop close to the house, and the ride takes only about 20 minutes to reach the city center. The apartment is very clean and well-maintained. Anne is a very kind and thoughtful host. There was a situation where we didn’t have our own shoe spikes, and the floor was very slippery. Seeing us struggle, she generously provided shoe spikes, which was incredibly helpful. She was also very responsive, promptly answering all our queries. When we checked in, she greeted us warmly and even offered a flexible check-in, which we truly appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we highly recommend this place!

Heljar was a great host! Very responsive and helpful! The property was immaculate! Great location, close to everything but still quiet area. Very walkable to attractions. Very accommodating to our group, even allowed late check-out!

The apartment is located in a quiet area at the top of the mountain. The bus stop is a few hundred meters away. Across the street you have a beautiful view of the city, on the last evening we watched the northern lights over the house, the city and the Storsteinen from there, really very nice. For skiers (cross-country skiing), the area is perfect. In the immediate vicinity are several illuminated cross-country trails (e.g. Charlottenlund or Prestvatnet). I also liked the Tromsø Alpine Park. They are very nice hosts, I didn't have to ask any questions, as everything was already answered via the Airbnb app (code for the key box, Wi-Fi, garbage separation, access to the apartment, ...). Since it was not my first stay in Tromsø, I did not need excursion tips, but there are several brochures for this on the shelf. By bus you are in the city in about 10 minutes. The surroundings (generally northern Norway) are beautiful.

We are thankful that Håkøya Lodge was available for our stay in Tromsø! It was cozy, peaceful, private & clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. From the lodge it was easy to drive into Tromsø as well as over to Sommarøy & Senja. Nina & Bjørn are fantastic hosts! They provided clear, easy instructions for driving to and accessing the lodge. They happened to be working outside when we arrived and offered a warm welcome. We enjoyed being able to visit with them. Håkøya Lodge was a great place to wrap up the road trip portion of our Norwegian vacation! We would happily stay with Nina and Bjørn again!

Karsje’s place is just amazing in one word. The place is so cozy offering amazing views of Tromso. The space was perfect for 5 of us including our 5 year old son. The house had a well structured instruction manual so that we didn’t have to bother the host a lot, but still they were very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils so that you could cook without any hassle. There is a car parking available and also the bus stop is just a 10 minutes walk from the house. Just keep in mind that the house in a quite neighbourhood a bit away from the city, so you will have to travel a bit to find restaurants and supermarkets ( 10 minutes with a car or 15-20 minutes with bus). We enjoyed the stay a lot and would recommend it to anyone who visits Tromso.

It was perfect! The house was clean and it had a lot of amenities. Quality was at a high level. I was very satisfied. No neighbors and great sauna. Unfortunately, the hot tub was not in operation… Contact was always great. I fell in love with this place! Thanks Truls!

Great place. We stayed at 3 different places on our Tromso visit, and wish we would have booked this one longer. Location is outside of city proper, but very easy to drive into Tromso. Up to date amenities and generous host, very helpful and nice welcome. When we return to Trom, will book again!

We had a wonderful stay at Gunnar's apartment - what a view! The apartment is on two floors, spacious, well equipped and lovely and warm. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from the outside deck. The neighbourhood is very peaceful and it's an easy 20 minute walk into the main area of town for bars, restaurants and museums. It's an 8 minute walk to Polaria bus stop for the 42 bus to the airport. We highly recommend.

The house is very convenient and the view is spectacular. Most of the time we were in the house was in the armchairs watching the landscape. When we arrived at the house it was warm, which is appreciated with the cold and snow outside. Arriving at the house was a bit chaotic as we didn't know where to enter, the road and stairs were completely covered in snow and after discovering where it was, it was a challenge to go up with the bags and with my mom with knee problems, but I was able to use a shovel to clear the road a bit. We laugh about it now, but when we arrived and it was snowing, it wasn't very nice haha. Regardless of that, Trude was always attentive to my questions and very helpful. There is a bus stop nearby that takes you to downtown, but you can also walk across the bridge. And the cable car is also close by walking. I would stay here again next time, thank you for everything!

Such a lovely Airbnb! Close to bus stops into town, although the walk in was fine as well. Beds really comfortable and the whole house was just cozy. We also saw the northern lights from the window!

This house is amazing. The views are stunning and it is so relaxing sitting there in the beautiful windows watching the boats, wildlife and scenery. The house has been beautifully laid out and is very well equipped. It is quiet and private but only a 25 min easy drive into the centre of Tromsø so you get the best of both worlds, city life and beautiful country. Heidi is a very friendly and helpful host and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. We had a lovely holiday.

We were 8 people staying in Heidi's house for a week, focused on active spending of time (skiing, skitouring, hiking, ...). It was a great time - thank you for that! The good: 1. The house is very spacious, very comfortable with 8 people. 2. The living room is just the best 3. The location of the house is very good, close to city and airport yet in nature. 4. Heidi was super responsive and kind There is some room for improvement: with this price point I would expect the kitchen equipment to be more complete (e.g., we had the feeling that there is not enough knives and they are blunt, pans are cheap and scratched, cork stuff to put hot pots on top missing...), the fireplace came without the fire iron - weird, there were no matches just an not working lighter... Also, the heating system in the house seems to be a bit insufficient: we were using the fireplace all the time - would be cool if wood was supplied. But all this can be improved. All in all we love the satay!

My best recommendations. Everything was perfect from initial communication to check out. The beautiful apartment is centrally located and yet very quite. And what a view!

The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made our experience even better. Beautiful stay in Tromso and in Siv’s home! The apartment was easy to find, secure, and centrally located. We walked everywhere, to restaurants, tour pickups, shops. Her home is clean, comfortable, with plenty of space and good views of the water & mountains. Siv is a wonderful host, always friendly and communicative. Highly recommend!!
