Vacation rentals with a kayak in Trinity County

Our stay was Perfect! Comfy Beds, Great Layout and Beautiful view. We enjoyed fishing off the dock and our Host even left us some bait. We loved every minute. Peaceful Neighborhood. Nice, Relaxing, week at the lake!!! We will definitely be back!

The view was great. The place was clean. The coffee bar was stocked. The body wash, shampoo, and conditioner was a bonus. We had a slight issue with check in and Robert sent someone over right away and we were in within minutes. Would go back.

This lovely home was exactly as pictured and described. The home was full of amenities- you could show up with just your toothbrush and have a wonderful lake weekend. Comfortable beds and serene surroundings. My kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing off of the dock. We went in December, so no swimming for us.

Great place to stay with family. Kids had a great time kayaking, fishing, and the game room. Mindy is a great host, very responsive, honest, and clear instructions. She even sent pictures of water levels before our arrival. Higgly recommend, and we would definitely stay here again.

My family and I had a great week on the Trinity river. We fished, kayaked, played games and watched nature. It's a beautiful piece of property.

Roomy, very comfortable and inviting. Lots of places to sit and just relax. Every room had a tv, spacious sleeping and well stocked on blankets. Super family friendly environment.

We had a great relaxing weekend at the house. Everything was as described. The house is much larger inside than you would think from looking at it. Very spacious and plenty of deck and outdoor space. The HotTub was relaxing as well. We spent most of the time at the pier fishing where we always got a bite and caught many fish. Our trip was too short, next time I’ll make sure to get a Monday checkout so we can enjoy it more! Hosts were very quick to answer any questions I had. Overall, a great place to take the family to relax over the weekend and plenty of space for each child to bring a friend!

Our week-long stay at Franklin's home was truly amazing. The house is incredibly beautiful, clearly built with love and attention to every detail, which you notice from the moment you arrive. Every part of the house felt cozy and private. The upper terrace was perfect for bird watching, dining, and reading. The Jacuzzi was extremely comfortable and a great way to spend time with the kids. The fire pit was splendid, and there were so many places for barbecuing. The dock had everything we needed for fishing, kayaking, and enjoying the water. The surrounding nature was stunning, with beautiful sunsets every evening and a variety of bird species. We even spotted a crocodile, turtles, and plenty of fish in the water. Our family was so captivated by the experience that we didn't want to leave, and my son keeps asking when we can return. Thank you, Franklin, for allowing us to stay in your incredible home!

Had a great Memorial weekend with the family at Miguel’s place. Was right by the water with boat ramp and pier for fishing. Caught a few fish but the water had a lot of debris there floating through but other than that it was good. We had fun with the games up stairs and in the downstairs room. They have axes and ninja stars to throw at the bullseye. Plastic of course but still fun and they also had corn hole as well. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we enjoyed our stay.

My kids loved the old cabin feel, and even in the hot Texas heat. Those trees gave us plenty of shade to run around and watch the birds from the deck. There was nothing like reading a book and having a view of lake with an ice cold beverage.

Rick and Bernadettes Cabin#2 was an excellent choice for a short getaway with the family. We are a family of four with teenage kids. The wifi was strong, never ran out of hot water, and ACs kept the cabin nice and cool. The fishing was okay. The lake is about 3 to 4ft deep nearing almost to the bridges, so catfishing was good, but for smaller lengths. Dollar General less than a 1/4 mile from the Cabin. we had our dog, she loved the Cabin and went and had some time on the dock as well. we are planning on returning in the Fall as a short getaway. We recommend these cabins!

The cabin was very nice and comfortable. Rick and Burnadette were very responsive to our questions and gave us good instructions on the things we wanted to do. They were very nice and helpful. The area is nice and peaceful. Would definitely go back.

Great trip, right on the water. Cozy cabin. Dogs loved it. We fished from the dock and was relaxing.
