Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Tórshavn

In literal walking distance from the airport, and a ten minutes drive away, Joan's beautiful house is also in easy walking distance from a lovely grocery shop and from several local amenities. The place is quiet, cozy, and feels like a proper home; impeccably clean and warm, with freshly laundred linens on all beds and supersoft towels. The hosts had left us chocolate and wine, and the kitchen came perfectly furnished. The shower is hosted in a small room downstairs, and, while somehow unconventional, had great pressure and hot water (and there were five of us showering!). Joan contacted us at the beginning of the trip to check that everything was alright, and kept promptly answering all of our messages. The view across the water is absolutely gorgeous - there is a wide waterfall in sight of the house. We had a great stay, and honestly already miss it.

I definitely recommend it! Ketty is a very communicative host, check-in was very smooth, the house looked exactly as described. Great location if you have your own car - a great base for exploring the Faroe Islands.

Beautiful old house ideally located in a very quiet environment. The view is spectacular and the location of the house allows you to visit most of the Faroe Islands. The house was very clean and very well equipped. We'll be happy to go back!

10/10! Great apartment for a stay in the Faroe Islands. Very homey and in a quiet area. A stone's throw from the bus stop where you can hop on a bus and get around Torshavn incredibly smoothly. Perfect location if you want to explore the rest of all the islands the Faroe Islands have to offer as you have no more than an hour by car to reach everything you can imagine wanting to see and do. Finally, the host was very helpful with everything!

A really good place to stay when exploring Thorshavn and the islands. Short walking distance to the center (10mins), easy parking and calm surroundings.

Very comfortable and spacious apartment for 2 people. Kitchen was well equipped, there was also washing machine and enough towels. Supermarket is nearby on foot. The location is very calm and private, but it is only 30 minutes walking to city centre or you can take bus. Free parking was available. Annika was very kind host, check in and check out was very easy and flexible. Good value for money. Thank you.

Pernilla’s place was a great place to stay during our trip to the Faroe Islands. The place was plenty big enough for us 3 adults and could have hosted 4 easily. The views from the house on a clear day are spectacular, the house is at the top of a fairly steep hill but it’s still only 15 mins walk into town. Communication with Pernilla was great and finding the place was easy.

The place was outstanding, the view on the fjord and surrounding was gorgeous. The owner has 2 lovely cats we had the chance to scratch ! Everything was there for making great meals to go and explore the Faroe Islands. Felt like I was at home, great bathroom and the 2 rooms on either side of the bathrooms give a little of privacy while travelling with friend/colleague. Would recommend.

The view from Steinbjorn’s home is quite possibly the most beautiful vista I have experienced anywhere in the World. They say location is everything, and I don’t believe my experience of the Faroe Islands would have been as good had I stayed anywhere else. The solitude of Elduvík was perfect for my solo mountain biking trip, the pink sunsets at Midnight incredible, and the hot tub after a few hours on the bike the icing on the cake. The lounge and dining room are spacious and well appointed, the kitchen clean and well provisioned. I had the pleasure of meeting Steinbjorn when I arrived at the house. He is a friendly chap and is clearly proud of his home. Communication with him both prior to, and during my trip was superb, lots of recommendations for places to visit, and information regarding the village. Steinbjorn was also very attentive to any queries I had whilst at the house. I could not have hoped for a better experience.
