Vacation rentals with lake access in Tórshavn

Maybe because it's a new home, I feel that the tableware is new and clean in all aspects, and the room is also clean. Some places may not have been repaired yet. Anyway, it's pretty good.

The best Air BnB we have stayed at! Every amenity you might want is there - spotless, well-maintained, and in a beautiful place. I hope to stay again!

Atli was a great host, the house is lovely, even better as on the pictures, very clean. Leynar is one of the most beautiful places in the Faroe Islands from my perspective and I can definitely recommend Atli as a host to everyone. Tórhallur was a great host, very responsive and the place was incredible. Beautiful, peaceful, spacious and very clean, you have all the amenities you need. We would definitely stay there again!

Dagmar's house in Eiði was lovely. It's centrally located in the village, just opposite the town church. There's a convenient parking spot right out front. The interior was nicely decorated, and the house works well for a single traveler such as myself; it also, however, would work well for larger groups or families, as there are multiple bedrooms. This was a great place to stay while exploring the northern Faroes!

Very clean place with a fully equipped kitchen. Loved the dining area where we can look out to the fjords. a convenient place to get to all islands, Torshavn and airport.

We spent a whole week in Durita's apartment, and it was definitely a good choice for us. The apartment is fairly large and it has everything that can make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is very usable, the beds are comfy, the bathroom is perfect, in addition there is big living room to spend your time when the weather is too nasty to get out. Tórshavn is just a few minutes drive, and we could easily discover many of the islands from here. There are at least 2 great restaurants nearby (we did not try to find more). If we can ever return to the Faroe Islands, we would definitely stay here again. Lastly: the communication with Durita was super easy, she always answered literally in minutes.

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in. The space was incredibly spacious and thoughtfully equipped with nearly every comfort of home. The hosts' attention to detail was outstanding, and their warm welcome made us feel immediately at ease. When we accidentally left something behind, they went out of their way to return it—such lovely, considerate people. The accommodation itself was excellent, with just a short walk to nearby parking.

The apartment was perfect for our stay in Torshavn. The location was perfect to visit places around the islands. The place was clean and comfortable. The host was quick to respond to my questions.

The location is beautiful, facing the ocean with two access paths to the seaside. Two windows overlook the ocean from the dining room. Everything is very quiet and the activity upstairs is very modest and quite bearable, not annoying at all. The living room is a little dark, not facing the view but very comfortable, with blankets and comfortable cushions. The bedding is excellent, and the bathroom is functional. the decoration is suitable and tasteful. The kitchen is very well equipped, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, microwave and dishwasher. Nancy helped us a lot during the marathon so that we didn't get stuck in the roadblocks. Recommended without hesitation.

Annfinn’s house is a perfect base for exploring the Faroe Islands. Located in a very quiet residential neighborhood, it has everything you need to feel at home. Nicely furnished in Scandinavian style, it is equipped with all the accessories needed for cooking. A bonus is the availability of a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment in Hoyvík! It’s perfectly located for exploring the Faroe Islands, just minutes from Tórshavn and close to everything you need – restaurants, supermarkets, and more. The apartment is stylishly furnished and very well equipped, especially the kitchen and the spacious living/dining area. The bathroom is modern, though the shower might be a bit low for people about 2 meters. A washing machine and drying rack are a great plus. The bedroom offers a large, comfortable bed, and most windows have blackout blinds – ideal during the bright summer nights. Magnus is a kind and helpful host; we even found some local lemonade and beer waiting for us in the fridge. Parking is easy, and despite the nearby main road, the apartment is absolutely quiet. Highly recommended!

Niels’ apartment was absolutely beautiful. It is newly renovated with great taste and has everything we needed for a comfortable stay in the Faroe Islands. Niels was a fantastic host with excellent communication and a warm, accommodating approach that made us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this place and would love to return.

We are honoured to be Hans and Diana’s first-ever Airbnb guests, and it was an unforgettable experience. They warmly welcomed us with local beers and delicious salmon toasts. The apartment is charming and cozy, even better than the photos. Nestled in a peaceful, quiet neighborhood in Torshavn, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Á Landavegur, a nice supermarket for snacks and groceries. Frequent buses, with a stop nearby, make trips to and from Torshavn’s city center a breeze. For hikers, the apartment’s laundry and technical room is a game-changer, equipped with everything needed to clean muddy shoes and dry clothes. What truly stood out, though, was Hans and Diana’s warmth and enthusiasm. On our final night, they took us to the historic village of Kirkjubøur, where we explored ancient ruins, centuries-old turf houses, and learned about traditional whale hunting. The friendship we formed was the highlight of our trip, and we highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Torshavn!!!
