Waterfront vacation rentals in Torre dell'Orso

I had a great 3 day stay at Franca's apartment. There are 2 balconies with a view of the sea. I cooked dinner each night and ate with a sea view! The apartment has everything for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is clean with a big, comfortable shower. The kitchen is stocked with lots of pots, dishes, utensils and coffee pods. The washing machine came in very handy. The apartment is a 2 minute walk from a beautiful, quiet beach and maybe 5 minutes from Otranto, it's beaches and all it offers. If you get a chance, don't miss Sant'Andrea and Torre del Orso for some really stunning scenery. I rented a moped from Chiriatti moto in town, though during the summer, there's regular bus service. I highly recommend Franca's place for your trip to Otranto and the Salento region.

Wir geben uneingeschränkt 5 Sterne PLUS ‼️ für diese wunderschöne Wohnung mit gigantischem Ausblick sowie die aussergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft von Maria und Tommaso ….besser geht nicht ‼️ Noch nie haben wir mit Vermietern so unproblematisch und harmonisch kommuniziert. Es war ALLES picobello 🤗 Sehr gerne kommen wir wieder, grande abbraccio

Alles hat super geklappt und hat uns gefallen. Aufgrund der sehr schnellen und freundliche Kommunikation vor dem Aufenthalt waren wir gut vorbereitet. Vor der Ankunft übernahm dann ein Kollege den Kontakt und wir wurden vor Ort empfangen. Alles hat super geklappt, wir bekamen die Wohnung gezeigt und erhielten weitere Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Bei Fragen, die sich während der Zeit noch ergaben, erhielten wir sehr schnell eine Antwort und Guiseppe war ein hervorragender und super freundlicher Ansprechpartner. Das Parken Parken vor Ort ist nicht ganz einfach, aber es gibt einen großen Parkplatz 2 Minuten vom Apartment entfernt, den wir nutzten. Alternativ kann man auch über Fiorenza einen Tiefgaragenplatz buchen. Das Apartment selbst ist nicht riesig, aber sehr neu und gepflegt mit großem Bad und kleinem Balkon von dem aus man etwas das Meer sehen kann. Ideal gelegen an der Promenade hat man alles – Shops, Lokale, Strände – vor der Tür.

Abbiamo soggiornato 3 giorni a Otranto nella casa di Tania. Molto bene sotto tutti gli aspetti. Cortesia, pulizia, ambiente e biancheria profumati, grandezza dall'ambiente, parcheggio in strada con pass datoci da Tania e quindi gratuito, bellissimo terrazzo anche se nn usato purché eravamo sempre fuori. Har haft en helt fantastisk vecka i detta boende. Kände oss direkt som hemma från det varma välkomnandet av Daniela och Valentino vid incheckningen. Boendet var mycket rent och tillhandahöll med allt och lite till som vi kunde behöva. Boendet är beläget med fantastisk panoramautsikt över havet, mycket nära till vattnet, flera olika stränder och badplatser. Boendet ligger mitt emellan två byar med utsökta restauranger och cafeér på varje sida. Vi är mer än nöjda med vår vistelse och kommer gärna tillbaka hit.

Abbiamo avuto l'appartamento per 3 settimane. Molto ben arredato, moderno, cucina piccola ma funzionale e ben equipaggiata. Molto vantaggioso avere il garage proprio a disposizione. Stefania e Lorenzo molto disponibili e sempre pronti a rispondere alle nostre domande e richieste. Ottima anche la posizione. Soddisfatti! p.s.: unica pecca forse il balcone un pò piccolo in relazione alla grandezza dell'appartamento, ma Stefania ce l'aveva comunicato!

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door Chiara. Het huis is prachtig ingericht, heel proper en we kregen enkele welkomstgeschenken waaronder een zelfgemaakte heerlijke limoncello. We hebben met volle teugen genoten van dit aangenaam verblijf. Het grote terras met wondermooi uitzicht was ons favoriet terras. Dit is een adres om te onthouden en terug te keren. We voelden ons echt welkom!

We stayed for 11 nights in June. The place was very private and quiet. The apt. had everything we needed. The sea was really just a 1 minute walk away and there were hardly any other people swimming. The water was very nice. The terrace was incredible and had direct sun only in the morning. The view is east bound. The master bed was good in size, the mattress could be better. Towels and sheets were plenty and clean. The washing machine was good. The kitchen stove works with gas and the hot water works with a boiler. The water pressure was good and the water was always warm. The oven didn’t work unfortunately, switching it on made the electricity go off. WiFi does not work well inside the house but on the terrace, but we didn’t mind. We had a wonderful stay here and would recommend the place for a couple or a small family.

This house is a real gem. It is located right at the sea. There are stones in front of it but you can go swimming, if you want. On both sides approx. 5-10 min are very nice sandy beaches. The view is amazing and we had super nice sunsets. The house has everything you need and the kitchen is fully equipped. The decoration is maritime and quite cute. It was really peaceful and we had a great time. There are a couple of restaurants in the village as well as shops and even fish shop. We were there at the end of May. Many shops and restaurants were still closed but 20 min by car there is a bigger town where you have everything. We really enjoyed our stay. If you look for peace and quiet - book this lovely house! Highly recommended!

Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Rosanna hat uns herzlich empfangen und hat uns noch nützliche Tipps gegeben. Das Haus ist an einer wunderschönen unverbauten Lage... man könnte hier für längere Zeit eine Kreativ-Pause machen! Die Zimmer und die Einrichtung sind sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet. Der Pool ist wirklich ein Traum. Schönes Wasser! In der Küche hat es alles was man braucht. Es ist wichtig, ein Auto zu haben, da ein guter Supermercato schon so 10 Fahrminuten entfernt ist. Die Strände sind sehr schön und das Wasser sauber und wunderschön! Apulien ist sehr angenehm zu bereisen im Herbst. Es hat zwar nicht mehr alles offen, aber es hat viel weniger Leute!

Wir waren zu zweit für sechs Nächte in der Unterkunft und mehr als zufrieden. Mai ist noch vor der Saison, sodass wir allein in der gesamten Straße waren. Die Terasse ist ein Traum, jedoch für die Nachbarn einsehbar. Dadurch, dass wir allein waren, war dies nichts schwierig. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen, Fernando war ein super Gastgeber und war immer gut erreichbar und freundlich!

The descriptions and pictures are very accurate. The apartment is easy to find if you don’t use google maps directions/navigation. The most direct route is to follow the “lungomare”, turn at AMU restaurant, and proceed to number 10. The apartment is on several floors, without an elevator. There are 65 steps from the street to the rooftop terrazzo and kitchen. Each bedroom is on a separate stop along the stairs below the kitchen floor. The apartment is the best equipped of any apartment in which we’ve stayed over a period of 12 years. Francoise is very helpful and responsive. She provided a great deal of local info and recommendations. Also, she can arrange for a parking garage; street parking is non-existent.

Maison très bien situé dans un environnement très calme. Pietro est très disponible et a un vrai sens de l'accueil. Idéalement situé pour rayonner sur le territoire et avec une petite plage à proximité (2 mn à pied) pour se baigner en toute sécurité et faire du snorkeling (ce qui est un vrai plus, car en Italie les plages sont soit privée : surchargées, soit difficile à trouver pour un accès à l'eau du fait des spécificités géologiques de la cote). Nous étions en couple et avons très apprécié cette maison.

We had a wonderful week at Antonio’s home. It was even better than the photos and description. Little details like having coffee to make in the morning, some water in the fridge on arrival and cookies for the girls. We arrived quite late and Antonio met us to ensure we got in ok. He was so helpful with recommending some great spots for food, beach clubs, local activities, local supermarkets. In my opinion, Antonio went above and beyond to ensure that we had a lovely holiday.

This house was exactly what we were looking for. Beautiful, cozy, and it made you feel right at home. Stunning views, with direct access to the water so you can jump in as soon as you wake up. It’s a wonderful place to relax and use as a base to explore the nearby cities. The host was very kind—she welcomed us with some groceries and was always attentive to anything we needed. I 100% recommend it and hope to come back soon.

Wir hatten eine sehr erholsame Zeit in Vittorios Wohnung. Der große Balkon hat einen tollen Blick auf‘s Meer. 2 Strände liegen direkt gegenüber nur durch die wenig befahrene Straße von der Wohnung entfernt. Auch der freie Stadtstrand mit der windgeschützten Bucht ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen. Das Meer ist kristallklar und leuchtet in allen Blautönen. Auch die Altstadt von Otranto ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu Fuß bequem zu erreichen und bietet reichlich Auswahl an Restaurants und Eisdielen. Vittorio hat uns sehr nett empfangen, hat uns auch während des Aufenthaltes viele Tipps gegeben und ist mit uns in Kontakt geblieben. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft jedem der einen entspannten Urlaub in Otranto verbringen will.

Die Unterkunft war top, sehr sauber und eine tolle Terasse. Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, gute Bäckereien und Restaurants sind innerhalb wenigen Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Alessandra hat sofort auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert und war flexibel mit dem Check out, das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

Merci Pasquale et Paolo pour l'accueil et le séjour. Tout était parfait ! L'appartement semblait déjà beau en photos mais il était encore mieux en vrai. La déco, la douche et la cuisine avaient été refaites. Ils avaient prévu tout le nécessaire pour notre séjour avec notre bébé : table a langer, baignoire bébé, chaise haute, lit parapluie, mixeur pour purée, poussette et même parasol et 2 chaises pliables (qui nous a permis de lui faire découvrir la plage de sable, a 5 min à pied de l'appartement). Parking dans le jardin, vue sur mer, cuisine tout équipée. Machine a laver et machine a café avec des dosettes également. Tout était hyper bien pensé pour que nous passions de bonnes vacances. Jusqu'aux moustiquaires. Ils avaient même prévu une carte et nous ont recommandé plein d'endroits sympa. L'appartement était également très propre. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir pour notre prochain séjour et recommandons a 100% leurs logements

Terrazza Doxi Fontana is a beautiful apartment with large terrace & amazing views from inside and out. The 3 en-suite bedrooms are very similar making sharing fair for everyone. There are lots of stairs to access the apartment so not suitable for people with mobility issues. Once inside it’s on one level and has a good layout. A great place to chill out. No parking available close by at the port so we had to offload luggage and wait with it whilst someone else parked much further away. Inconvenient but workable. Gallipoli was a lovely place to visit whilst exploring Puglia.

Appartamento estremamente curato, ricco di tutti i confort. Delizioso terrazzo, silenzioso e attrezzato con ogni tipo di confort. Posizione strategica, vicinissimo al mare e ai migliori ristoranti di Gallipoli, tutto raggiungibile a piedi. Pulizia impeccabile. Ottima comunicazione con hoster, sempre disponibile e pronto nella risposta, con molta gentilezza e consigli indispensabili.
