Mystic Pond Cabin-Dark History!

KristinRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This place was amazing! Perfect location, felt really secluded and private but was convenient to get to anything we wanted to do. This cabin was exactly what I would dream up if I created a cabin, all the cute witchy details and thoughtful touches everywhere. It rained quite a lot on our visit but we spent a lot of time on the porch watching the birds and chipmunks, and it was exactly what we needed. So peaceful! The house was so clean, the shower fabulous, and beds comfy. Sherri was so helpful, made sure we had what we needed and gave us good suggestions on things to do in the area. And warned us about a bear in the area- lol- thankfully we did not encounter the bear but did see plenty of deer. We absolutely did not want to leave, and are already scoping out dates to return.

Beautiful location and lovely people! We were on the fence about purchasing our own camper and helped us experience camping for a long weekend with our kiddos!

Private Creekside Cabin

We loved this place! It was close to everything but really felt secluded, so peaceful and quiet and with the lovely sound of the creek outside! Loved soaking in the hot tub watching the fireflies everywhere! The cabin was so clean, the bed very comfortable, and they thought of everything- extra toothbrushes, toiletries, teas and snacks...anything you miht need. Host very responsive too! We would definitely stay here again.

Storybook Cottage at The Farm

KrissiRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What a beautiful property! The views from this cabin are breathtaking, especially in the morning with the fog in the mountains. The cabin is incredibly cozy, rustic and eccentric. It has a personality all of its own and you can tell it is very well loved. Comfy beds and great water pressure in the shower. Everything felt and looked clean. The hosts were very responsive and we met Alan when he was tending to the chickens - he is so friendly and great for conversation! New River Gorge National Park and Fayetteville are within 15 minutes of this cabin, along with all the fun activities. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone visiting this area. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Songbird Sanctuary

Our stay at Kenny’s was amazing. Located in a quiet setting, the home was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was well thought out. Kenny’s recommendations regarding restaurants and activities were spot on. We were very excited to find Celiac friendly places in Fayetteville—a bakery (Wylde Berry) and great GF Pizza (Pies & Pints). We will definitely plan to return to this gem!

Molly Moocher

KristinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The Molly Moocher tiny home is top notch! The hosts were super helpful and responsive when we got mildly confused about locating it. The home itself was cute, clean, and had such a nice aesthetic. You could tell the hosts curated the space as if they themselves would be staying there, as opposed to others spots I’ve stayed in that seemed to just choose cheapy or boring options. Local art; AC blasting before we arrived, hot water in the shower, everything we needed amenity wise was so appreciated. The outdoor space was so inviting and private, truly felt like our own oasis…encapsulated by the blanket of stars complimented by the treetop silhouettes while relaxing in the hot tub and by the fire. We would recommend this to anyone visiting the beauty of New River Gorge and needing a romantic vibey getaway! Thanks!
